The places to visit while staying in Naples are many, here are some of those that are absolutely not to be missed, with a mini-guide starting from Hermes rooms, which is located between the beautiful 14th-century church of San Giovanni a Carbonara and the 16th-century church of Sant’Anna a Capuana, between two of the ancient gates of the city, Porta Capuana and Porta San Gennaro, between two of the city's most interesting and diverse museums, the Madre contemporary art museum and the National Archaeological Museum, between Forcella and the Sanità district, where the great actor Totò was born, between Spaccanapoli and via dei Tribunali. The first street you encounter after leaving Hermes Rooms is via Duomo, with the Cathedral of San Gennaro, the most important for Neapolitans because it is the place where the famous miracle of the liquefaction of the blood takes place. We suggest you also visit the annexed Museum of the Treasure, one of the richest and most beautiful in the world. Going down via Duomo you will arrive at the entrance of via dei Tribunali and then, immediately after, you will encounter the famous Spaccanapoli, so called because it crosses the entire historic center, cutting it in half. Entering these streets, the ancient Decumani of the city, you will admire one of the greatest artistic, cultural, and monumental heritages in the world, you just have to choose what to visit: Naples Underground, the Veiled Christ, Santa Chiara, Piazza del Gesù, Piazzetta Nilo, and so much more. Once you enter via Tribunali, it is a must to walk through the street of the nativity shepherds, via San Gregorio Armeno, which will offer you a very special atmosphere, with the artists of nativity art who will amaze and entertain you. Continuing on foot you arrive at Port’Alba and then in Piazza Dante, from where you continue along via Toledo, crossing the PignaSecca, the Spanish Quarters, the Galleria Umberto I, Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, Castel Nuovo – Maschio Angioino, Castel dell’Ovo, via Chiaia, Mergellina, Posillipo, and much more.
