Description
Donnasilia is a recently renovated country house, located in Palinuro (Salerno), in the Cilento National Park, in a gorgeous typically Mediterranean natural environment. From this enchanting hilltop retreat overlooking the sea, you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama.
Dating back to late 19th century and completely renovated according to environmentally-friendly criteria, it maintains unchanged its original fascination. The outside walls made of stones and bricks coupled with the cotto flooring and Vietri multi-coloured ceramics used to decorate its interior, make it an extremely comfortable and cosy dwelling.
Donnasilia boasts a strategic position. It is situated in a century-old olive grove stretching for a two-hectare area, that is the ideal place to enjoy a leisurely stroll in the shade of its imposing trees. In a few minutes you can stroll into the centre of the town of Palinuro or the beach that are only 200 metres away.
Suites and rooms
All suites and rooms feature private bathroom, air conditioning, hairdryer, TV, telephone/Internet access, and a panoramic view. Donnasilia’s guests can be accommodated in two double-bed rooms and two suites. Each suite has a capacity of four persons and one of them has a wonderful terrace.
Breakfast is served on the large terrace of the house. You can enjoy organic food, typical of the Cilento area, such as a very palatable locally produced honey, citrus marmalade, yogurt of buffalo’s milk, bread, biscuits and cakes. Most of the products served are home-made.
Guests can relax in ad-hoc wide open spaces surrounding the house.

Wonderful place, beautiful view, quiet, close to the center of Palinuro. Staff very kind and a super cook for breakfast who, in addition to the usual croissants and drinks, offers guests delicious homemade cakes and pies. Clean rooms and services. Highly recommended and will definitely come back.

Siamo appena tornati da una breve vacanza in questo B&B, struttura veramente meritevole. Eravamo alloggiati nella suite Africa, bella e luminosa con arredamento accogliente. Il top della stanza è il terrazzo con una vista fantastica su tutto il golfo di palinuro e sugli spettacolari tramonti serali. La struttura inoltre è immersa in una bella tenuta verdeggiante a terrazze che nonostante la tranquillità è a due passi dal centro raggiungibile a piedi in pochi minuti. Un piccolissimo appunto lo farei alla colazione che pur essendo di qualità l'ho trovata un po' semplice. Comunque un 10 a pieno merito.

Situata in posizione splendida, con uno sguardo si abbraccia tutto il golfo. La residenza è una bella casa di campagna situata in un uliveto, con un giardino curato. La nostra camera aveva un affaccio splendido sul mare e sul giardino, meglio di così era impossibile. Personale cortese, padrona di casa anche. La consiglio.

La struttura esterna è molto bella immersa completamente nel verde, il panorama è veramente magnifico, la colazione sulla terrazza è piacevolissima, dolci fatti in casa (si è sentita solo la mancanza di qualcosa di salato). Essere a 10 minuti a piedi da Palinuro centro è impagabile.

Struttura Splendida, ottima posizione (si va a piedi in centro ed anche al mare). Ottime pulizia, colazione e cortesia, la consiglio vivamente.

Siamo stati in questa struttura per 2 settimane. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Posizione ottima a 200 metri dal mare e vicino al centro di Palinuro che si può tranquillamente raggiungere a piedi. La proprietaria è stata molto cortese e disponibile. La camera era molto confortevole, dotata di tv lcd, aria condizionata e minifrigo. La colazione, servita su una terrazza panoramica con una bellissima vista sul mare, era molto abbondante e varia e soprattutto con dolci fatti in casa ogni giorno. Un'ulteriore nota di merito va per l'accettazione degli animali. Veramente ottima.

Splendida realtà ben curata e con personale sempre disponibile. Gentilissima la proprietaria alla quale vanno i complimenti per la struttura, per le splendide colazioni e per la capacità di interagire con gli ospiti facendoli sentire come a casa loro. E per chiudere; da "gustare" i favolosi tramonti dalla terrazza delle colazioni.

Il B&B gode di una bellissima vista panoramica, immerso nel silenzio di un curato uliveto, ideale per il relax. Il centro di Palinuro è raggiungibile a piedi, passeggiando per circa 10 minuti. Belle le spiagge negli immediati dintorni. Proprietaria e personale cordiali e disponibili.

Il nostro soggiorno è stato piacevolissimo: la struttura mantiene ciò che promette in termini di tranquillità, relax e cura dei particolari. I proprietari, residenti in loco, sono estremamente gentili e disponibili. Il personale è attento e pronto a soddisfare le richieste della clientela. Ci ritorneremmo senza dubbio.
