Description

In the heart of the old centre, immersed in the one of Naples’ traditionally atmospheric alleyways, nestled between clothes drying in the sun and the smell of traditional cooking, and amongst the rich historical context of both artistic and cultural heritage. The result of the restructuring carried out by the owners who are architects, the rooms are pervaded by an age old feeling, preserved through the enhancement of the original building and material elements, contemporary shapes and creations, alongside, colours and objects drawn from a rich Neapolitan and southern artistic and iconographic heritage, it is also eclectic as there are many travel keepsakes to be found within the property.

The apartment, consists of five comfortable rooms with bathroom, a large and sunny living room, an fully equipped kitchen, offers a space characterised by the high ceilings and the warmth of the terracotta floors. A charming terrace, characterized by the cool blue shades of the majolica benches and populated by camellias and old roses, offers tables under the shade of a canopy and it’s an ideal place to enjoy your free time, enjoy breakfast and sip a drink in thew balmy Neapolitan evenings.

A few meters away: San Gregorio Armenois the street to find nativity scene artisans, there is also the entrance to the Napoli Sotterranea, the Church of San Lorenzo, Naples Cathedral and the Treasure of San Gennaro, the Sansevero Chapel, Spaccanapoli, the Archaeological Museum, and MADRE the new Museum of Contemporary Art.

We were four: me, my wife, and two children. Very comfortable and very clean apartment. Very good welcome. Efficient WiFi. It's a pity that, due to the anticovid regulations, it was not possible to have breakfast: however, the kitchen was very well equipped and provided with every comfort. Logistically in a strategic position: in the center, a few steps from the main attractions of the historic center of Naples, two minutes from Spaccanapoli. Only downside: four floors without an elevator to reach the apartment, so pack light. Otherwise, everything was perfect and I would say that the value for money is extremely positive.

We stayed for a couple of days in Naples on our way back from our vacation in Salento. Family of 4 people (2 adults plus two teenage girls). Accommodation in the historic center of Naples, very close to San Gregorio Armeno. Dimora dei Giganti prestigious, we stayed in a large room on the fourth floor (attic) with a private bathroom in front of the room. The accommodation can also accommodate other people while maintaining privacy. Large spaces and you can also enjoy a spectacular terrace. Kindness, cordiality, and availability.

My boyfriend and I spent 5 days in Naples and stayed at this Bed and Breakfast. We were welcomed by Stefania, who was very kind and helpful, providing excellent advice for visiting Naples. The rooms are clean and have everything essential for a peaceful 4-night stay. We couldn't use the common areas due to covid regulations, but we saw that they are well-equipped. The terrace is also nice for relaxation! Central location to visit everything. Only thing... the Bed and Breakfast is on the third floor of a building without an elevator and with stairs that are not very comfortable to climb... so I would not recommend it for those with difficulty climbing stairs, otherwise nothing to complain about.

Without elevator, the refrigerator was not left for use, it was too hot and we couldn't put anything in the fridge, they didn't change towels.

Salve Loredana Secondo le normative anti covid, che le abbiamo detto prima che lei prenotasse, il frigorifero le stoviglie e la cucina non possono essere utilizzati poiché potenziali veicoli di trasmissione del virus Il palazzo è del XVII secolo in centro storico patrimonio dell'UNESCO per cui avere un terrazzo all'ultimo piano è un piacere che ripaga il salire le scale gli asciugamani non sono stati cambiati perché lei non ne ha fatto richiesta. Per le normative anti covid Il personale non può entrare in una stanza occupata per evitare il contatto con gli ospiti. Se ce ne avesse fatto richiesta glieli avremmo lasciati fuori dalla stanza. Strano dire che il rapporto qualità prezzo è 1 non avendole pagato nulla poiché usufruiva del bonus vacanze.

My review is unfortunately negative. We found out that the B&B is located on the 4th floor without an elevator 2 days before departure, we thought it's not a problem, but unfortunately we are talking about a 4th floor of an ancient building, so it's equivalent to about a 6th floor of modern buildings. We already knew that the mezzanine has a low ceiling and the owner tells us that, since we are using the holiday bonus, we could choose another room. We said no, but we didn't know that when we arrived in the room there was an astonishing smell of mold, we had to keep the window open. Not to mention the bathroom where an impressive stench came out, but it doesn't end there... the most absurd thing is that for a week we had a hard time taking a shower, not to mention the shampoo since the water came out very cold, it warmed up only after 5/10 minutes depending on the days, but it always remained cold and let's not talk about the water pressure in the shower, practically non-existent. I would like to see the owner taking a shower like this... When we reported the problem to him, he replied that it is normal since we are on the 4th floor and there are other tenants in the building who take showers and use the water. In all this, I also asked a couple of tenants if they had the same problem, they replied no. The price compared to the room was expensive, the only thing that was good was the little terrace, the most beautiful part of the entire apartment. The location in terms of proximity is great because you are close to the whole historic center, even though we had to ask to find it because there is no indication of a B&B in that alley. Breakfast, due to Covid, was not provided, although for the price we paid they could have made some agreement with a nearby bar, thus providing a better service to the customer. I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend it.

Caro signor Sega La sua fantasia sfiora quella del miglior Fellini. Spieghiamo le cose come sono andate: appena lei è arrivato nonostante non pagasse niente con il bonus vacanza (per cui il prezzo di cui parla lei non so che cosa si riferisca), aveva prenotato la camera più economica poiché non voleva aggiungere neanche 1€ al di fuori del bonus gratuito vacanza. Lei ci ha chiesto di avere un'altra stanza chiaramente senza pagare nulla di differenza. Per cui con il bonus vacanza gratuito lei avrebbe voluto avere la suite facendoci capire chiaramente che ci avrebbe fatto una buona recensione in cambio. Il suo agire è inqualificabile. Le auguriamo una vita più onesta.

Well-kept and elegant B&B. Clean, warm, welcoming room, very comfortable bed, and pleasant heating temperature. Free and self-service breakfast: great idea, perhaps just a bit scarce. Beautiful terrace, great location. A place to come back to!
