Description

The Countryhouse-B&B Antica dimora del Sole was created through the renovation of an old farmhouse dating back to the late 18th century. Located on a hill in the Cilento National Park, it is only 9 km away from the beautiful beaches of Marina di Camerota and 18 km from Palinuro. It is the perfect place to spend a relaxing holiday, immersed in nature and the sea, but also to discover the history, art, and culture of this wonderful region, famous for its breathtaking landscapes.

The family-run structure is connected to a small organic farm. For those who wish, it is possible to have dinner and taste dishes from our tradition, prepared with local products.

The rooms, all furnished in country style, offer every comfort and have a private bathroom. There are three types of rooms available: double, triple, and quadruple apartments, consisting of two connecting rooms with double or single beds.

The structure has large outdoor spaces, including two panoramic terraces, where you can have breakfast or dinner during the summer season. In addition, we provide our guests with convenient free parking.

We offer a mainly continental buffet breakfast, with homemade cakes and cookies, freshly baked warm croissants, yogurt and cereal, fresh bread and toast, jams, honey, butter, and seasonal fruit, milk, coffee, tea, and cappuccinos served at the tables. Upon request, eggs, cheese, and cold cuts can also be provided.

Our cuisine is a true expression of culinary tradition, based primarily on handmade pasta dishes using fresh local ingredients. For example, our delicious cavatelli with Cilentan-style ragu, lagane pasta with chickpeas, fusilli with meat or vegetable ragu, stuffed paccheri with vegetables and buffalo ricotta, and much more. Additionally, our main courses are prepared with carefully selected high-quality meat and served with fresh vegetables from our garden. And of course, we won't forget to offer tastings of our exquisite cured meats and cheeses.
