Casa Mazzola has been built from Luigi, one of the main artist of Sorrento area, just to give to the guests relax and all the comforts in a place full of nature and artistic surrounding.

The garden around the house is full of flowers and the management is familiar and friendly.

Casa Mazzola is located between Sorrento center and Amalfitana coast, in a panoramic position on the Gulf of Naples.

From BB Casa Mazzola You can easily reach the most charming places of Italy, such as Vesuvius, the imposing volcano that is surrounded by full, flourishing vegetation, Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, Pompei, Napoli or Capri Island.

Casa Mazzola was spectacular. The view of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius was incredible. The bed was very comfortable. It is located on the mountain (which explains the great view). It has parking and delicious breakfasts. But the best thing is Luigi's hospitality: kind, attentive and always ready with great tips to explore and enjoy the surroundings. His son Higo was also always ready to answer any questions via WhatsApp.

A place of peace and tranquility after a busy day of sightseeing. The setting is breathtaking, and we can't speak highly enough of our charming hosts, Luigi, his son Ugo, and daughter Daniela, whose warm welcome and delightful personalities made our holiday exceptional. Their help in exploring the area and in collecting or transporting us when the local bus was not running helped us relax completely. Luigi is a master glass craftsman, which enhances both his house and garden as well as the panoramic backdrop of the bay and Mount Vesuvius.

Casa Mazzola is a stunning, family-run B&B. We stayed a couple of nights but would have been very happy to stay longer. The hosts, Ugo and Luigi, were very friendly and helpful, giving us local knowledge and information on the area. It is a very easy 10-minute drive into Sorrento, which has an abundance of lovely bars, restaurants and shops. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Amalfi Coast. Casa Mazzola is a truly beautiful accommodation, not only because of the spectacular view and beautifully decorated surroundings, but especially because of the inimitable hosts Luigi and Ugo. They took great care of us. Luigi gave us all the necessary information to make it easier for us to find our way around Sorrento and the surrounding area. We also spent one wonderful day on the beach in a nearby town at Luigi's suggestion and really enjoyed it. Thank you Luigi and Ugo for making us feel at home!

To be honest I wasn't sure about staying here because I normally book 4-5* hotels but on a whim I booked because of the stunning views and the reviews of the host. We were not disappointed! On arrival we were shown around the property (which has lots of quirky things to look at) then to our rooms and offered a drink which we then sat and enjoyed looking at the most stunning views. Ugo (and his father) could not have been more helpful, what they don't know isn't worth knowing we were given a bus timetable informed all about where to go and how best to get there. There is a tiny village at the top of the hill (2 min drive) with 3 very good restaurants and a place that sells amazing Gelato at very cheap prices, our first trip was 5€ then 4€ then 6€ then 5€ they seemed to make it up as they went but as the ones selling Gelato in Sorrento were charging 12€ and not so big we really found it very amusing!! Oh and that was for 2 portions! We had one of our most enjoyable holidays and would definitely return and highly recommend. Thanks Ugo for making us feel SO welcome.

The hosts were very warm, friendly, and helpful from the reception until departure and gave many good tips for parking in Sorrento and for restaurants. The room had a large terrace with a wonderful view of the Bay of Naples. The room itself was practically furnished with a gas stove, small refrigerator, and sink. Situated in a quiet location, you can reach Sorrento after a short drive. From there, you can explore the area well by boat or train. We felt very comfortable.

This was our first stay at Casa Mazzola. It was recommended by a friend. Having stayed there for 5 nights, we would very likely not return to Italy without returning to Casa Mazzola. Managed by a father (Luigi) and son (Ugo), this is the opposite of checking into a hotel. They greet you like old friends. And offer a fantastic selection for breakfast. The location and view is simply stunning. It is just not possible to overstate how fantastic their location and view is. If there is any downside, it is that you cannot really walk to town. If you have a car, Sorrento is just several minutes away. If you catch the local bus (right near their gate) it is maybe 6 or 8 minutes away. However, the benefit of being up the hill, out of town, is that it is so quiet and yet you can see the town below, along with the bay of Naples, Vesuvius, and Naples itself across the bay. Luigi and Ugo are both the nicest, warmest, most welcoming people. When we brought dinner home, or ordered delivery, to have on the balcony, they offered us wine glasses, utensils, etc from their kitchen area for our dinner. With that view, it was better than eating out at a restaurant. We had them arrange a private driving tour of the Amalfi coast one day, and a small group boat tour out to Capri. Ugo made all of the phone calls for us. Both tours were fantastic. They also gave us very good advice and info about Sorrento and the area which helped us decide where to spend our time there. Navigating the local buses to and from town turned out to be very easy and we used that several times. We loved our time at Casa Mazzola and wish we could have spent more time there. To Luigi and Ugo, we can only say Thank you very much! Goodbye (until we meet again).

Luigi and Ugo do everything to make you feel welcome, nothing is too much for them. They happily give you various tips to make your trip as enjoyable as possible. The breakfast was excellent and what a view. Although not every room has a view of the bay, it is a beautiful and quiet place to stay. I was there by car, but I made frequent use of the vans (especially the white ones).

Ugo and Luigi are wonderful hosts, so communicative and so helpful. Thanks to them we had convenient transfers from the train station, we were able to book short notice tours, and we received excellent recommendations for our trip. The view at the B&B is stunning and the property is incredibly charming. It is an excellent place for peaceful relaxation under the sun while enjoying a dip in the pool and spectacular views of the ocean on the coast of Sorrento. The breakfast is well-stocked with yoghurt, cereal, and a wide assortment of simple but delicious local bites like marinated vegetables and sweet breakfast pastries.\n\nRegarding location, Casa Mazzola is far away from Sorrento so using public transit requires planning. Fortunately Ugo can arrange tours to pick up in the morning directly from the B&B. With the encouragement of Ugo and Luigi, we opted to rent a scooter for a few days during our stay and Casa Mazzola was perfectly located for excursions to the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, or Nerano. It was also very convenient to park the scooter overnight safely within the gates of the property. When we instead relied on public transit, it was challenging at times. Ugo and Luigi were so generous to offer us a shuttle before 11pm if we were in Sant'Agnello and we missed the last bus, but any later or departing from elsewhere, you’ll need a taxi or your own transportation. If you want to travel Amalfi by bus only, then I would recommend you plan carefully as starting from the B&B will require a few transfers.

An amazing hotel with a spectacular view. So serene and peaceful. The room was very spacious and comfortable for us, a family of 4 with 2 teenage boys. Breakfast was wonderful. The best thing about Casa Mazzola was the warmth and kindness of Luigi and Ugo... they gave us a warm welcome and made us feel like we were at home, they helped us with very helpful tips on where to go and what to visit. Staying at Casa Mazzola was a real highlight of our 10-week holiday. We loved everything about this property - the location was fantastic for exploring Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast or Naples. The view from our room was spectacular! The room was big and clean with housekeeping coming in every day, something we did not expect. The pool and surrounding gardens were a delight to relax in. Breakfast was varied with lots of choices for everyone, including homemade Italian donuts, of course, amazing coffee, and fresh juices. Our hosts Ugo and Luigi went above and beyond what hosts would normally do for their guests. They picked us up from the train station when we arrived and took us back there when we left. They gave us a lift up to the local restaurant for pasta and pizza, and the restaurant returned us back to Casa Mazzola when we were finished. Nothing was ever a bother to them. We loved staying here, and they were incredible hosts who loved talking to their guests about things to do and see in and around the area. It was a delight to stay here in this beautiful part of Sant'Angelo. Thank you, Ugo and Luigi, for being amazing hosts and sharing your home with us xx

I completely recommend staying at Casa Mazzola! My sister and I enjoyed 3 nights here and could not fault it. Our hosts Luigi and Ugo were so helpful and welcoming, providing information before and during our stay, lifts to the train station and delicious breakfast. It is in a very beautiful location, with fantastic views and so much creativity and art everywhere, there's always something to discover and smile at! It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Occasionally a little noise at night but it didn't stop us sleeping well. And the location is a bit out the way, but the local transport minibuses to Sant'Angelo are regular and cheap from just outside the B&B so that was no problem. I hope I can stay here again in the future - thank you Luigi and Ugo :-).

Thank you for this beautiful stay! We spent 10 days at Casa Mazzola and we had the best time. The location of the accommodation is perfect. Not far from the Amalfi Coast but calm and we loved Sorrento. Luigi had really good advice for us to discover this beautiful area (hikes which are off the tourist tracks, restaurants and good advice for parking which is everything on the Amalfi Coast). We came with a baby and had some special demands and he was so helpful and welcoming. The house has a soul and heart and is decorated with beautiful artwork that made us feel comfortable.

The view from the balcony was spectacular and the whimsical art hidden around the property was worth the visit alone.
