Description

The Casa La Lamia B&B is located within the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park, in a verdant valley between hills and the sea near Castellabate and Perdifumo small towns. Hospitality is offered in an ancient stone farmhouse, completely renovated and featuring a mini apartment (3-4 sleeps) with private kitchen and bathroom, and two large double bedrooms (respectively 2 and 3 sleeps) both with private bathroom. With the utmost respect for the environment, the house is "gas free"; renewable sources only are used for the production of electricity and sanitary water, a wall box is also available for recharging electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. In the spacious, locked box, bicycles and e-bikes can be stored.

I'm Patrizia, after many years of working in Milan, I came back to live in the heart of the wonderful Cilento, in my great-grandparents' house, close to Castellabate, my hometown. I am pleased to share with new people the beauty and quiet that can be enjoyed in the countryside where my house is located, surrounded by olive trees and fruit trees from which, together with my husband Paolo, we produce oil and jams.

Well-maintained and very clean property, managed by two attentive, caring and kind hosts. Casa La Lamia is a renovated farmhouse with all the comforts, the result of people who put their heart into it and it shows. The icing on the cake is the breakfast, both for its variety and for the elegance with which it is presented. Located in the countryside yet just half an hour from practically all the points of interest in the Cilento, it offers unbeatable value for money in my opinion. Thank you for the wonderful weekend.

Impeccable hospitality! The owners are very kind, always attentive, and they brought us small gifts from their production every day. The place is a paradise of tranquility, lulled by the singing of cicadas and the sound of the bells of sheep or goats grazing not far from there.

An incredible hospitality and a beautiful accommodation. We were guests of Patrizia and Paolo for 4 days in January, of which 2 were cold and windy. However, the warmth and availability of the hosts made our stay fantastic regardless of the weather, and we extended it for another 2 nights. They have the most beautiful countryside house just renovated, excellently restored with cilentan stone and original wooden beams. The rooms are spacious, brand new, and the cleanliness is of the highest level. We were able to set our own breakfast service time, which is a great advantage when on vacation. At this time of year, breakfast is served inside by Patrizia and Paolo, in their cozy living room with the stove fire. Here we tasted both the wonderful homemade banana bread by Patrizia and her delicious cakes. Paolo squeezed the oranges from his garden to make the most delicious juice and see if there was also homemade fig jam from his trees! At any time, they were both ready if you wanted an extra cup of tea, a hard-boiled egg, or if you needed to call a restaurant to check the opening hours. Nothing was a problem. We couldn't wish for a better and sweeter couple of hosts. Along with their incredibly beautiful countryside house, where everything is taken care of in detail, we highly recommend others to try La Lamia.

Thank you, thank you, and thank you again to Patrizia and Paolo for the exquisite hospitality and availability. Large, very clean apartment, equipped with every comfort and with frequent towel changes and cleaning. You find yourself in an oasis of peace, immersed in nature, far from the holiday chaos but only a few km from the splendid beaches of Cilento. Absolutely recommended!

We stayed in this beautiful bed and breakfast for a couple of days. The place is enchanting, immersed in the countryside. For those who need to unwind from the traffic and chaos of the city, it is ideal, very well-kept in every detail. But what makes it even more special is the care and passion that the owners (Paolo and Patrizia) put into managing the bed and breakfast, making the guest feel at home with their kindness and availability.
