Description
In the most authentic heart of Naples' historic center, Casa del Sole at Santa Chiara welcomes guests into a bright and elegant atmosphere, where the charm of Italian tradition meets warm and attentive hospitality. Located on the third floor of an ancient building without an elevator, the home enjoys a rare position for the area: always flooded with light and overlooking the city's historic rooftops, with a view that extends to the Certosa di San Martino. This is an uncommon privilege in a neighborhood known for its narrow streets and closely packed buildings.
The apartment is easily accessible on foot from Line 1 of the metro, with stops at Università and Dante. The entrance leads directly into a spacious kitchen, enhanced by an original 1970s sideboard. The carefully restored antique floors reflect light with warm and inviting tones. The decor blends vintage details with artistic influences: a 19th-century painting, ancient holy water fonts, and an ethnic wooden sculpture all contribute to creating a space rich in personality.
A hallway leads to the three bedrooms. Two overlook the main street, while the third, slightly more secluded, faces the back. Each room features a private bathroom to ensure maximum privacy and is equipped with winter heating and summer air conditioning. Built-in wardrobes, works of art, and a harmonious dialogue between antique and contemporary elements define the spaces, which are completed by French balconies adorned with plants and flowers.
The location allows for exploring the city on foot. Just a short walk away, you will find the monumental complex of Santa Chiara with its famous majolica cloister, the church of Gesù Nuovo, and the historical axis of Spaccanapoli. Nearby, you can also visit the Cappella Sansevero, via San Gregorio Armeno, the Naples Cathedral with the Museum of the Treasure of San Gennaro, the Biblioteca dei Girolamini, the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, Piazza Bellini, Via Toledo, the Maschio Angioino, and the Royal Palace. Additionally, the nearby maritime station offers connections to the islands of the Gulf.
Check-in must be arranged at least 24 hours in advance. Arrivals after 9:00 PM incur an extra charge, with increasing fees for later arrivals. Check-out is required by 10:00 AM. The property is not a hotel and does not have a 24-hour reception.
The building does not have a garage and is located in a limited traffic area. Access by car is permitted only by parking in a paid lot in the historic center, with costs not included in the stay.

Relaxed and peaceful, with a Buddhist faith, I love to travel and, above all, to host people from all over the world to share the beauty of Naples and Italy.
I enjoy making my home a gathering place, which is why I’ve created a welcoming environment, personally selecting each item to ensure that every room has its own unique character.
I like my home to have a somewhat dreamlike, nostalgic atmosphere, adorned with artworks on the walls, plants on the balconies, and flowers inside, so that it can inspire guests with pleasant moments while also providing opportunities for reflection, and perhaps even a chance to learn more about themselves.
I believe in the magic of spaces.

Perfect location to explore the city, room equipped with all comforts and very quiet despite the proximity to the nightlife in the nearby square. The owner was very kind and helpful.

Welcomed with kindness and sympathy, we slept in a bright room.
Extremely quiet and very bright with a comfortable desk, a lovely floor and splendid paintings on the walls. Beautiful kitchen with very cute vintage pieces.
Where we made our morning coffee.
Beautiful flowery terrace overlooking Santa Chiara and the Certosa di San Martino. New bathroom with all the comforts.
In short, we had a great time, highly recommended.
