The B&B Casa Cuccaro was born from an old farmhouse finely restored respecting the rustic characteristics of the place. Plunged into the green and overlooking the sea it is the ideal place for those people who want to spend a relaxing and quiet holiday far from everyday life and confusion. Located in Nocelle, a quite pedestrian village high above Positano. The place is family run, Peppe, his wife and his children will be glad to welcome you and try to satisfy all you needs. You will not also receive the attentions and services but you will be considered a member of the family itself. The beauty of the surrounding places, the quiet and peace all around will make your holiday unforgettable.

Our rooms are well lighted, furnished with simplicity and grace, cleaned with care and provided with all comforts. They open on to a nice balcony with a wonderful view over the Amalfi Coast.

The rooms have private bathroom with shower and bath, towels and soap, ample wardrobe, bedside tables etc.

Breakfast will be served in the common living room or on the terrace. We will be pleased to offer you the kind of breakfast you desire and on request we can also serve it to your room.

For mountain lovers, Casa Cuccaro represents the ideal starting place for excursions along the famous paths to the Mounts Lattari, the so called "Sentiero degli Dei" which crosses 11 km of unforgettable mountain tracks.

This is a fantastic place, the only problem is to get there. It is done by bus or taxi by a very twisty narrow road who end just before the village. It means you are required to take a bus every time you want to go somewhere or use the 1400 steps down to Positano. Beautiful view, very nice host, friendly and helpful !

Casa Cuccaro is a truly charming B&B run by a lovely and very considerate family. The place is beautiful and well kept. The location on the hillside of Nocelle guarantees a stunning view of the coastline below. The breakfast on the rooftop is an experience in itself with delicious cornetti and selection of fruit to go with the spectacular scenery. The location requires some tolerance for stairs but is well worth it, the calm athmosphere offering a charming refuge from the busier coastal towns.

Perfect, best view from terrace - EVER! I would wake up through out the night and walk out - just to experience it's perfection. It does take some effort [ local bus ] to get up here - but, it really is a - once in a lifetime experience, as well as the experience of this small, local village and their world, so glad we had done this.

Casa Cuccaro is a lovely, friendly place to stay in the charming mountain village of Nocelle. As clearly stated when booking, it's a way above Positano, but we did walk the steps down (c. 30 minutes) on one night and took a taxi back up (35 Euros), as the last bus before Peak season, around the end of June, is at 22: 20. That said, I think it's much nicer to stay a little distance from Positano, as we found the setting stunning but the crowd was incredibly 'see and be seen' to the point where it was hard to enjoy. Nocelle is much more down to earth, and being right at the start of the Walk of the Gods, is a good base for the immediate area as well.

Casa Cuccaro is a great place to experience the Amalfi coast. It is at one end of the popular Path of the Gods and a relatively short bus ride from Positano. The hosts are excellent, the breakfast excellent and the accommodation also very good. Every room has a balcony with an amazing view of the sea and Positano below. Highly recommended.

I have nothing but beautiful words to say about my stay with Nono and Nona:). These two people take pride in their home and they will make sure you will feel like home. Breakfast was amazing, all you can eat. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The views from the B&B are breathtaking, you can almost touch the sky. Keep in mind, as their website says, there is no AC. It is close to the Path of Gods. At the end of Nocelle, up on the hill, this B&B is perfect for those who like to walk and hike. If you don't have that physical condition, then it is not for you. I will definitely come back to this gem.

My husband and I stayed 4 days at Casa Cuccaro in October. There are no words to describe the beauty of this location. Nocelle is a "village" above the hills of Positano. Giuseppe & Gerardina were very friendly and accommodating - preparing a yummy breakfast, and cappuccinos. My husband and Giuseppe enjoyed watching soccer together. They took many photos of us so we could have great mementos. We had everything we needed - nice room, breathtaking views & homemade wine. We often took the city bus down to the city (which came about every hour). We also walked the path of the gods and ate at Santa Croce. It was very peaceful visit. I was sad to leave this charming location. I hope to come back again if we make it back to Italy.

This place is wonderful. So inexpensive yet so wonderful. Cutest B&B nestled in Nochelle, right above Positano. The surrounding area feels like a little hidden village. Breathtaking views. The owners were so charming and great hospitality. The bed is very firm but that was our only complaint. Easy to take bus to Positano but keep track of the bus timetable. There are also stairs (1700) and a walk along winding streets to Positano which I do not recommend. We are in pretty good shape and we were sore for days. We also did this at 10pm which was a mistake. If we had not had a flashlight it would have been pitch black and easy to get hurt. There are only a few places that stay open late in Positano in the fall and then it is hard to find a cab back to Nochelle so plan on retiring early. We would definitely stay here again. So quaint and and romantic.

Loved this place. Good location if you’re happy to catch the bus to/from Positano. The views are incredible from your room. Rooms are well appointed spacious and clean. Property has a homely feel. Breakfast is really generous and tasty. Hosts are very friendly. I’d definitely recommend and stay here again.

I would recommend this B&B to anyone wanting a quiet visit to the Positano region. The views from the balcony (bedroom and breakfast terrace) were stunning and at breakfast there was a warm welcome from the hosts, who provided fresh fruit grown in their garden, as well as a variety of cakes, pastries, hams and cheeses. There was tea, coffee and orange juice on offer too. There is only one restaurant in Nocelle (Santa Croce), which was excellent and reasonably priced, however if you are staying for a few nights and want variety, the bus stop nearby takes you down to Montepertuso and Positano for more options. The hosts will help you when asked, but generally leave you to your own devices. If you are driving, then there is a private car park you can use costing €15 per day, as well as a public car park with a meter costing €1. 50 per hour. Be warned, the drive up/down the hill is tricky due to the narrow, winding road, but once you get to the top and arrive at Casa Cuccaro, you soon forget that as the views are simply breathtaking.

We Hired a car so a short drive down to Positano Town/Beach and there is also a Bus shuttle to take you down. Beautiful restaurants very close to the B&B for the nights we stayed local.

Staying at Casa Cuccaro was like staying at my grandparents home- so full of love and kindness, generosity and laughter. The view from my room and the breakfast deck are spectacular! The mornings are so peaceful and quiet - the only sounds you hear may be birds or a rooster in the distance. Casa Cuccaro is conveniently located on the sidewalk leading to the "Path of Gods" trail - WOW! This is a must do (just be sure to take water to drink). This B&B is also on the sidewalk path leading down to a wonderful and secluded beach- perfect for an early morning quiet swim. There are also great restaurants and a little grocery store just short walk on the sidewalk. I loved every thing about staying at Casa Cuccaro and I am excited to return! In addition to the kindness and warmth you feel from Peppe and his wonderful wife, they really go out of their way to make your stay amazing and memorable in so many ways! I enjoyed the fresh fruit grown from their garden and eggs from their chickens. One morning, my daughter dropped her diamond earring down the sink and was devastated. We knew the earring was lost and there was no way to recover it but at breakfast, I mentioned it to Peppe anyway. While my daughter and I went on our hike that day, Peppe took the sink apart and found her diamond stud earring! This was a miracle in itself but we were so touched that he cared enough to go through the trouble of finding it. Bellissimo. We love this family and love this B&B! I will return and stay here every opportunity I get.

Casa Cuccaro was a wonderful bed and breakfast with incredible views and lovely hosts. If I were to return to Nocelle, I would stay with Dina and Pepe again. They were very accommodating and made our short stay enjoyable. If you want to escape the crowds of Positano, this is the place.

Everything is great, except for weak shower pressure, and a surprise charge of 20 Euros upon checkout for laundry. They offered to do it for us without mentioning any cost, and we wouldn't have accepted if we knew.

We were made very welcome at Casa Cuccaro and thoroughly charmed by this B&B in Nocelle. The location was perfect to walk half of “The Path of the Gods” or do the entire thing. Sleepy peaceful part of the Amalfi Coast. Santa Croce restaurant a walking minute away was one of the best restaurants for dinner. So is the fresh lemon Granita (slush) and the bruschetta at Del Sentiero Degli di, so lovely, we will miss this Italian gem. Grazie.

I have enjoyed my stay in Casa Cuccaro so, so much and can highly recommend it! It's absolutely beautiful there, it's a cosy, authentic place and the rooms have a gorgeous view. The owners are really kind and attentive people that will make sure you're having a very pleasant stay. Also, I really loved being in the wonderful little town Nocelle, high up in the mountains above Positano. So everyone that is not bothered by using the local bus to reach the place and walk a couple of stairs up and down to reach Casa Cuccaro shud do it - it's worth it.

Pretty much as perfect as a place can be. It is a traditional BnB in that it is run by two caring, lovely, friendly owners - but there is enough space so you do not feel like you are stepping on anyone's toes. The hosts are delightful, and are very relaxed - so you do not feel like you have to stop and chat if you are in a rush, but they are always around to say hi if you feel like doing so. The perfect balance. The view from the terrace, and the terrace itself, are both divine. A bus runs to and from the main area of Positano, and we had no trouble catching it down each day. (When we first arrived, we walked up from Positano to Casa Cuccaro, but it is a bit of a hike to walk - but it can be done..) The bus to and from central Positano is cheap and fun to take. All around, highly recommended. The main (perhaps only) restaurant in Nocelle is delicious. We ate there twice and loved every course. PS breakfast is enormous, so you may not need lunch!

Casa Cuccaro was the best holiday with my partner that I could have ever dreamed of! It was a delightful B&B with spectacular views, charming and warm hosts topped off with an incredible breakfast on a beautiful terrace. The hosts are helpful and kind as well as charismatic. We were visiting different places in Italy but Casa Cuccaro was most definitely the highlight of our trip and we will come back again in the future. I absolutely loved it and would recommend this place to everyone, it's a dream! Make your dreams come true and visit Casa Cuccaro! It was an absolute pleasure staying here:).

We planned to do a hiking and climbing hollyday and and italian friends reccomanded Nocelle for the vicinity to the famous "Sentiero degli Dei (Path of Gods) " and the sport climbing crags of Montepertuso. As the other contacted B&Bs did not answer, we selected Cuccaro and this turned out an excellent choice. The B&B is really charming, inclusive a breathtaking view from your terrace, excellent breakfirst (compared to italian standards) and lovely innkeepers. Since one of us distorted the ankle the very first day, we had to spend much more time indoor than outdoor. In this situation the innkeepers did really show the italian "hospitalità", which we long thought to be estinguished in this times of mass tourism at the italian sea resorts like Amalfi. One word to this aspect: Do not get chocked if you leave Nocelle and Montepertuso going down the steps to Positano to smell the sent of this tourism with all this unlackable Fashion-, Art- and Ceramic-Shops. My advice: Stay for dinner in Nocelle or Montepertuso, or if you really want a romantic dinner next to the sea go to "Da Zaccaria" at Atrani Other Advice: Doing the "Sentiero degli Dei" from Nocelle you can take the bus-stop directly where the steps arrive at Arienzo and change in Amalfi to Bomerano. However this takes the same time as hiking to Bomerano and return; -) We will surely return to Maria e Beppe Cuccaro!

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans cet établissement familial, situé à Nocelle dans les hauteurs de Positano. La vue panoramique est tellement reposante que l'on doute parfois de replonger dans la ferveur du centre de Positano. Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse est un moment privilégié de la journée pour décider du programme du jour, en échange avec les hôtes qui sont de bons conseils. Deux bons restaurants à proximité permettent aussi de passer des soirées tranquilles à Nocelle que l'on ne regrette pas. Bref, c'est un endroit privilégié à ne manquer sous aucun prétexte !

La vue seule vaut le séjour! Fantastique! Mais quand elle s'accompagne d'un accueil professionnel et chaleureux, d'une chambre impeccable et d'un petit déjeuner aussi gourmand, on n'est pas loin du paradis. Le petit déjeuner est l'un de ceux dont je me souviendrai pour longtemps! A 20 minutes en bus de la furie de Positano, voilà une adresse à inscrire dans vos carnets. Vous trouverez un excellent - et très raisonnable - restaurant à 100m de la maison qui se trouve elle même au départ du sentier des dieux (à ne pas manquer). Séjour très agréable dans ce B&B: lieu privilégié avec grande chambre+ vaste terrasse donnant sur la mer ! Salle de bain très bien équipée, le tout très propre; Les propriétaires sont chaleureux et accueillants; ils sont à l' écoute et de bon conseil. Enfin, cette maison est en bordure de maquis où il est possible de faire une randonnée à pied au milieu des chèvres!

Traumhaft schöne 7 Tage mit meiner Frau verbracht ! Sehr nette und familiäre Atmosphäre. Abgesehen von der traumhaft schönen Landschaft gibt es ein reichhaltiges Frühstück und einen netten Kontakt zur Familie. Besonders empfehlenswert ist die Busfahrt runter nach Positano. Ein Abenteuer was man nicht verpassen sollte. Wir werden bald wieder kommen für mindestens 2 Wochen.

Dear Madame, thank you for your feedback. Our price in October is 40 euro per person, in a B&B I think it's a good price isn't it? Our breakfast include: milk, coffee, tea, cappuccino with no limits, croissant, bread, butter, marmalades, biscuits, ham, cheese, salami, yogurts, cereals, fresh fruits and juice! On request bacon and eggs to pay extras. Can you suggest us what else should we add to have an higher score? Higher than 7/10! We hope you'll come back in Casa Cuccaro in a near future, best regards, Giuseppe Cuccaro.

Zimmer mit Aussicht! In Nocelle endet die Straße. Hier geht es nicht mehr weiter. Nach anstrengender Fahrt über kleine kurvige Straßen erreichten wir den Parkplatz, alles besetzt, Margherita kam aber, hat uns sogar noch einen privaten Parkplatz organisiert (zu empfehlen). Der Ort ist klein und hat nur Fußwege und Treppen, eine Erholung nach all dem Verkehr auf der Amalfitana. Er bietet einen kleinen Supermarkt, ein gutes Restaurant mit super Ausblick und Service, eine kleine Bar am Ende der Weges der Götter: wieder super Blick und leckere Erfrischungen, auf dem Kirchplatz bekamen wir leckeres Zitronensorbet. Unser Zimmer ist sauber und gemütlich, und das Beste: wir haben einen grandiosen Ausblick: Positano liegt zu Füßen und der Blick übers Meer unendlich. Alle Mühen sind vergessen und Margehrita tut alles um sich wohl zu fühlen (sie lässt es sich u. a. nicht nehmen mir den Koffer zu tragen). Das Frühstück beitet auch mehr als nur Caffe und Cornetto! Ich würde wieder kommen.

Sembra quasi impossibile essere in un tale paradiso di quiete e silenzio scrutando dalla splendida terrazza al piano superiore il paesaggio a 360° di mare, cielo, vegetazione lussureggiante e laggiù l'affollatissima e caotica, ma sempre suggestiva, Positano dei mesi estivi. Silenzio rotto solo dal passaggio dei viandanti del Sentiero degli Dei, sul quale si affaccia il B&B, e di pazientissimi muli che qui vengono ancora utilizzati per il trasporto di materiale e pure per le valigie dei turisti. Ma l'eventuale piccola fatica di portare la valigia dal vicinissimo parcheggio è ampliamente ripagata dall'ambiente non contaminato da asfalto e macchine! Personalmente speriamo non costruiranno mai strade in questa bellissima frazione ottimamente servita anche da un servizio di bus navetta da Positano. Le proprietarie ci hanno fatto sentire a casa, offrendo un'accoglienza stupenda e sempre disponibili per ogni necessità e a fornire ottimi consigli per come organizzare la vacanza. Se vi piace natura, tranquillità e trekking assolutamente consigliato!

Potrebbe sembrare strano, ma è proprio così! La struttura Casa CUCCARO e soprattutto la famiglia CUCCARO merita 10! Provare per credere!

Io e il mio fidanzato abbiamo sostato in questo B&B per tre notti e ci siamo trovati molto bene. La posizione della struttura potrebbe essere definita scomoda per la distanza dal mare ma se si vuole godere del panorama che essa stessa dispone, questa è indispensabile. Ritorneremo in questo affascinante posto non solo per il panorama mozzafiato della terrazza, dove viene servita una colazione ricca, completa e per ogni gusto, ma anche per l'atmosfera di genuinità e familiarità che offrono i gestori della struttura. Anche le stanze godono della vista mare, belle! Un buon posto per visitare la meravigliosa costiera amalfitana. Soddisfatti. (Marianna e Gianluca).

Una sorpresa piacevole, un'accoglienza familiare simpatica e cordiale, una camera confortevole e pulita, lenzuola profumate di fresco, bagno comodo e completo, un terrazzo vista costiera amalfitana con tavolino e sdraio, una colazione abbondante ricca di dolci e torte fatte in casa, salumi di varie qualità, formaggi, yogurt, cereali, spremute di limone o di arancio, pane fresco! Bravi!

Mia moglie ed io abbiamo festeggiato il nostro primo anno di matrimonio in questo B&B davvero speciale che offre la tranquillità della natura e dei vicoletti della caratteristica frazione di Nocelle e allo stesso tempo offre la vicinanza al centro di Positano raggiungibile sia a piedi (per i temerari come noi è stata una piacevole discesa di circa 30 minuti attraverso una caratteristica stradina nella natura che offre scenari e viste mozzafiato) che attraverso i bus che con frequenza oraria partono per e arrivano dal centro. Ottima anche l'accoglienza dei padroni di casa. Decisamente consigliato!

Per chi ama le emozioni ed i panorami spettacolari. Per chi sopporta qualche disagio (parcheggio assai difficoltoso) pur di soggiornare in una calda atmosfera familiare! Per chi ama la buona cucina, da provare una cena al "Ritrovo" di Montepertuso.
