Our stay in Nocelle was a little piece of paradise. The family who hosted us is so incredibly kind—we were truly sad when we had to leave. Every morning at breakfast on the roof terrace we were thoroughly taken care of: wonderful cappuccino, a typical Italian breakfast and delicious fruit straight from the garden, while our view stretched across the entire Amalfi Coast—simply breathtaking. Our room was a dream, with a balcony from which we could look at the coast like a painting. The roof terrace invites you to dream and enjoy, while the picturesque alleys of the village high above the coast radiate an incomparable peace and magic. It was an unforgettable stay full of warmth, indulgence and beautiful views. We can recommend this accommodation wholeheartedly and would return at any time. Warm greetings from Gerd and Loreen.

Heaven. Casa Cuccaro was something out of a dream. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, kind, and willing to go above and beyond to give you the best possible experience in Nocelle. We were hot off a trip in Rome for our honeymoon and Nocelle was the perfect place to unwind, drink wine, and take in the breathtaking views. Beautiful, massive breakfasts with espresso, delicious restaurants just steps away, and the sweetest furry neighbors to visit. I wouldn't define this location (Nocelle and Positano in general) as accessibility friendly as everything requires hundreds of stairs but God if it's not worth it if you can make it.\n\nThank you for everything! This was the trip of a lifetime.

It was a wonderful experience. If you don’t have a car and want to avoid paying €50 for a taxi, getting there can be a bit of a hassle—but once you're at the house, it’s absolutely worth it. The family is lovely, and the view is a dream.

Unquantifiable views, tranquillity, service, food quality and wine (all freshly homemade), and family history! Simply perfect. The value for money in this region is second to none, and the experience was magnificent. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Thank you so much to Angela, Mama, Papa, and the team for looking after us so well.

This was such a cute bed and breakfast and we had a great stay. The entire staff was very welcoming, caring, and attentive. The service was great and they gave us whatever we needed. It was a super long walk to the property but well worth it.

Between the charm of the quiet hilltop town, the stunning views, and the amazing hospitality we cannot wait to come back. Yes, the location is out of the way. (That’s the best part!) Yes, dragging your luggage through the streets of Positano isn’t ideal. (But there hasn’t been a location yet on our 45 days in Italy that didn’t involve some sort of schlepping our things through town.) The hiking, the food, the transportation, and the proximity to so many Amalfi Coast experiences are wonderful. But also the ability to stay put and just relax if desired made this stay even more relaxing.

Wonderful hosts, plentiful breakfast and amazing views. Really enjoyed the tranquility of the location and the views from the breakfast terrace as well as our bedroom balcony. Family run B&B with the family all very down to earth and friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had such a lovely stay! The location was great and the local buses were super easy to use to get to and from Positano.

Our stay at Casa Cuccaro was the highlight of our time in Positano! Our hosts were so kind and went above and beyond to help us with everything and anything we needed. This place is worth the trek it takes to get there. I would recommend staying here to everyone!

The most amazing hotel experience we have had. An extremely warm welcome, family-like environment. Amazing breakfast with great ocean views.

Everything was great, incredible views of the coast, you could even see the Faraglioni of Capri. \nAs for the attention, it was impeccable. They canceled our ferry from Capri to Positano and were helping us at all times to find solutions to reach Casa Cuccaro. Finally, they stayed until 10:00 PM so we could check-in upon arrival. \nAlso, during the stay they were very helpful and offered help to book restaurants or give directions to get to places. \nAs for the b&b, the room was very clean and had views of the entire coast. \nThe location, although we thought it would be secluded, we discovered that it had good communication with the center of Positano with a bus in Nocelle with good frequency and until late. \nIt has certainly been a great stay and we will return.

Casa Cuccaro is a small inn located in the picturesque village of Nocelle, 7 km from the center of Positano. This charming establishment is fantastic. Warm welcome, impeccable service, and special little touches are offered to all guests. Our terrace room had a breathtaking view of Positano, it was very romantic. However, there was no air conditioning. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and perfect. Attention to people with reduced mobility or the elderly, good fitness is required to reach the property from the public parking or bus stop. I advise against large suitcases, a backpack is more suitable with all these stairs and pedestrian streets. Thank you Angela and mom, we had a pleasant stay.

The hosts of Casa Cuccaro as well as the property itself are really quite nice and give off a rural, country aura. We stayed for six (6) nights and really enjoyed our time there and that view, a view that words cannot truly describe, was just therapeutic. Travel to and from the property was a 30-minute bus ride each way, often very crowded. It's either that or a 1700 steps walk down to Positano, which we did do - the return journey was never contemplated.

I absolutely loved my stay at Casa Cuccaro! The hosts were so lovely and friendly and made sure to help me with everything I needed, from directions to calling a taxi to printing my boarding pass for my flight. The views are incredible and the breakfast was delicious. They make it very clear that the bed and breakfast is not directly in Positano, but just make sure you are aware of this! You can only get to the main town via a 30-40 minute bus ride or many stairs, so if you are looking to be directly in Positano, this is not the place for you. However, if you are okay with a little extra travel and prefer somewhere quieter and with unbeatable views, this is the place!

Wonderful location with breathtaking view. Mrs. Angela and her mother pampered us and made us feel at home! For friends who will want to visit the Coast we will definitely recommend it.

My favorite place to stay in Positano. I stayed here back in 2017 and I came back because I loved it so much! Angela and her mom are the best! Nochelle is my favorite part of Positano and it’s a place everyone should visit when coming to the Amalfi coast. Love everything about this place it’s truly special!

Unparalleled view, it feels like floating "suspended" above the coast and the sea, sea as far as the eye can see. Unique B&B, managed by exquisite people with rare hospitality. We've already told each other everything Angela, I will be back soon.

It almost seems impossible to be in such a paradise of peace and silence, gazing from the splendid terrace on the top floor at the 360° landscape of sea, sky, lush vegetation, and down there the bustling and chaotic, yet always charming, Positano of the summer months. Silence broken only by the passage of hikers on the Path of the Gods, overlooking the B&B, and by very patient mules still used here for transporting materials and even tourists' luggage. But the eventual small effort of carrying the suitcase from the very close parking lot is greatly rewarded by the environment uncontaminated by asphalt and cars! Personally, we hope they will never build roads in this beautiful hamlet, excellently served also by a shuttle bus service from Positano. The owners made us feel at home, offering a wonderful welcome and always available for every need and to provide great advice on how to organize the vacation. If you like nature, tranquility, and trekking, absolutely recommended!

This is a fantastic place, the only problem is to get there. It is reached by bus or taxi through a winding and narrow road that ends just before the village. This means you have to take a bus every time you want to go somewhere or use the 1400 steps down to Positano. Beautiful view, very nice host, friendly and helpful!

We had a wonderful stay at this family-run property, located in Nocelle in the hills above Positano. The panoramic view is so relaxing that one sometimes doubts going back to the hustle and bustle of central Positano. Breakfast on the terrace is a special moment of the day to plan the daily schedule, exchanging ideas with the hosts who provide great advice. Two good restaurants nearby also allow for quiet evenings in Nocelle that are not to be missed. In short, it is a privileged place not to be missed under any circumstances!

Casa Cuccaro is a truly charming Bed and Breakfast run by a lovely and very considerate family. The place is beautiful and well kept. The location on the hillside of Nocelle guarantees a stunning view of the coastline below. The breakfast on the rooftop is an experience in itself with delicious croissants and a selection of fruit to accompany the spectacular scenery. The location requires some tolerance for stairs but is well worth it, the calm atmosphere offering a charming refuge from the busier coastal towns.

It may seem strange, but it's true! The Casa Cuccaro property and especially the Cuccaro family deserve a 10! Try it to believe it.

Everything simply perfect.

Perfect, best view from the terrace - EVER! I would wake up throughout the night and walk out - just to experience its perfection. It does take some effort [ local bus ] to get up here - but it really is a once in a lifetime experience, as well as the experience of this small, local village and their world, so glad we had done this.

We stayed 4 nights in this magnificent place: the view is breathtaking, very relaxing. In addition, the owners are truly lovely, they have a great sense of hospitality. A sense of the end of the world that I highly recommend.

This B&B is amazing! We couldn't have been happier with the location, the hosts and the breakfast! Would love to go back if we're ever in Italy again.

Casa Cuccaro is a lovely and welcoming place in a charming mountain village in Nocelle. As clearly stated when booking, it is above Positano, but we walked down the steps (about 30 minutes) one evening and took a taxi back up (35 euros), as the last bus before the peak season, around the end of June, is at 22:20. That said, I think it is much more pleasant to stay at a distance from Positano, as we found the setting stunning but the crowd was incredibly 'see and be seen' to the point where it was hard to enjoy. Nocelle is much more down to earth, and being right at the start of the Walk of the Gods, it is a good base for the surrounding area.

Casa Cuccaro is a great place to experience the Amalfi coast. It is at one end of the popular Path of the Gods and a relatively short bus ride from Positano. The hosts are excellent, the breakfast excellent and the accommodation also very good. Every room has a balcony with an amazing view of the sea and Positano below. Highly recommended.

Magnificent view, great hosts - would recommend arriving during daylight.

I have nothing but beautiful words to say about my stay at Casa Cuccaro with Nono and Nona :). These two people take pride in their home and they will make sure you feel at home. Breakfast was amazing, all you can eat. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The views from the B&B are breathtaking, you can almost touch the sky. Keep in mind, as their website says, there is no AC. It is close to the Path of Gods. At the end of Nocelle, up on the hill, this B&B is perfect for those who like to walk and hike. If you don't have that physical condition, then it is not for you. I will definitely come back to this gem.

My husband and I stayed 4 days at Casa Cuccaro in October. There are no words to describe the beauty of this location. Nocelle is a "village" above the hills of Positano. Giuseppe & Gerardina were very friendly and accommodating - preparing a yummy breakfast, and cappuccinos. My husband and Giuseppe enjoyed watching soccer together. They took many photos of us so we could have great mementos. We had everything we needed - nice room, breathtaking views & homemade wine. We often took the city bus down to the city (which came about every hour). We also walked the path of the gods and ate at Santa Croce. It was very peaceful visit. I was sad to leave this charming location. I hope to come back again if we make it back to Italy.

This place is wonderful. So inexpensive yet so wonderful. The cutest B&B nestled in Nochelle, right above Positano. The surrounding area feels like a little hidden village. Breathtaking views. The owners were so charming and had great hospitality. The bed is very firm but that was our only complaint. Easy to take the bus to Positano but keep track of the bus timetable. There are also stairs (1700) and a walk along winding streets to Positano which I do not recommend. We are in pretty good shape and we were sore for days. We also did this at 10pm which was a mistake. If we had not had a flashlight it would have been pitch black and easy to get hurt. There are only a few places that stay open late in Positano in the fall and then it is hard to find a cab back to Nochelle so plan on retiring early. We would definitely stay here again. So quaint and romantic.

Loved this place. Good location if you’re happy to catch the bus to/from Positano. The views are incredible from your room. Rooms are well appointed, spacious, and clean. Property has a homely feel. Breakfast is really generous and tasty. Hosts are very friendly. I’d definitely recommend and stay here again.

I would recommend this Bed & Breakfast to anyone wanting a quiet visit to the Positano region. The views from the balcony (bedroom and breakfast terrace) were stunning and at breakfast there was a warm welcome from the hosts, who provided fresh fruit grown in their garden, as well as a variety of cakes, pastries, hams and cheeses. There was tea, coffee and orange juice on offer too. There is only one restaurant in Nocelle (Santa Croce), which was excellent and reasonably priced, however if you are staying for a few nights and want variety, the bus stop nearby takes you down to Montepertuso and Positano for more options. The hosts will help you when asked, but generally leave you to your own devices. If you are driving, then there is a private car park you can use costing €15 per day, as well as a public car park with a meter costing €1.50 per hour. Be warned, the drive up/down the hill is tricky due to the narrow, winding road, but once you get to the top and arrive at Casa Cuccaro, you soon forget that as the views are simply breathtaking.

Perfect location for a peaceful stay, most stunning views for breakfast and from our room. Very clean and very friendly lovely owners/staff. We hired a car so a short drive down to Positano Town/Beach and there is also a bus shuttle to take you down. Beautiful restaurants very close to the B&B for the nights we stayed local.

The location is epic. The hosts are so warm, welcoming, and kind. We cannot recommend this place enough! So happy we chose to stay here rather than in heaving crowded Positano. A real gem.

Staying at Casa Cuccaro was like staying at my grandparents' home, so full of love and kindness, generosity and laughter. The view from my room and the breakfast deck is spectacular! The mornings are so peaceful and quiet, the only sounds you hear may be birds or a rooster in the distance. Casa Cuccaro is conveniently located on the sidewalk leading to the "Path of the Gods" trail - WOW! This is a must-do (just make sure to take water to drink). This B&B is also on the sidewalk path leading down to a wonderful and secluded beach - perfect for an early morning quiet swim. There are also great restaurants and a small grocery store just a short walk on the sidewalk. I loved everything about staying at Casa Cuccaro, and I am excited to return! In addition to the kindness and warmth you feel from Peppe and his wonderful wife, they really go out of their way to make your stay amazing and memorable in so many ways! I enjoyed the fresh fruit grown from their garden and eggs from their chickens. One morning, my daughter dropped her diamond earring down the sink and was devastated. We knew the earring was lost and there was no way to recover it, but at breakfast, I mentioned it to Peppe anyway. While my daughter and I went on our hike that day, Peppe took the sink apart and found her diamond stud earring! This was a miracle in itself, but we were so touched that he cared enough to go through the trouble of finding it. Beautiful. We love this family and love this B&B! I will return and stay here every opportunity I get.

Casa Cuccaro was a wonderful bed and breakfast with incredible views and lovely hosts. If I were to return to Nocelle, I would stay with Dina and Pepe again. They were very accommodating and made our short stay enjoyable. If you want to escape the crowds of Positano, this is the place.

Everything is great, except for the weak shower pressure and a surprise charge of 20 Euros upon checkout for laundry. They offered to do it for us without mentioning any cost, and we wouldn't have accepted if we knew.

We were made very welcome at Casa Cuccaro and thoroughly charmed by this B&B in Nocelle. The location was perfect to walk half of “The Path of the Gods” or do the entire thing. Sleepy peaceful part of the Amalfi Coast. Santa Croce restaurant, a minute walk away, was one of the best restaurants for dinner. So is the fresh lemon Granita (slush) and the bruschetta at Del Sentiero Degli di, so lovely, we will miss this Italian gem. Thank you.

I have enjoyed my stay at Casa Cuccaro so, so much and can highly recommend it! It's absolutely beautiful there, it's a cozy, authentic place and the rooms have a gorgeous view. The owners are really kind and attentive people who will make sure you're having a very pleasant stay. Also, I really loved being in the wonderful little town of Nocelle, high up in the mountains above Positano. So everyone who is not bothered by using the local bus to reach the place and walk up and down a couple of stairs to reach Casa Cuccaro should do it - it's worth it.

Anytime again. Perfect, as it's outside of Sorrento yet close. Good starting point for day tours.

The view alone is worth the stay! Fantastic! But when it comes with a professional and warm welcome, an impeccable room, and a breakfast so delicious, we are not far from paradise. The breakfast is one I will remember for a long time! 20 minutes by bus from the frenzy of Positano, here is an address to note in your notebooks. You will find an excellent - and very reasonable - restaurant 100 meters from Casa Cuccaro itself at the start of the Path of the Gods (not to be missed). Spent 7 fantastically beautiful days with my wife! Very nice and family-like. Besides the breathtaking landscape, there is a rich breakfast and a nice contact with the family. Particularly recommendable is the bus ride down to Positano. An adventure not to be missed. We will come back soon for at least 2 weeks.

Pretty much as perfect as a place can be. It is a traditional BnB in that it is run by two caring, lovely, friendly owners - but there is enough space so you do not feel like you are stepping on anyone's toes. The hosts are delightful, and are very relaxed - so you do not feel like you have to stop and chat if you are in a rush, but they are always around to say hi if you feel like doing so. The perfect balance. The view from the terrace, and the terrace itself, are both divine. A bus runs to and from the main area of Positano, and we had no trouble catching it down each day. (When we first arrived, we walked up from Positano to Casa Cuccaro, but it is a bit of a hike to walk - but it can be done..) The bus to and from central Positano is cheap and fun to take. All around, highly recommended. The main (perhaps only) restaurant in Nocelle is delicious. We ate there twice and loved every course. PS breakfast is enormous, so you may not need lunch!

An extraordinary view in an extraordinary place.

Very pleasant stay at Casa Cuccaro: privileged place with large room and large terrace overlooking the sea! Very well equipped bathroom, all very clean. The owners are friendly and welcoming; they are attentive and give good advice. Finally, this house is on the edge of the maquis where it is possible to go hiking among the goats!

Fabulous! Perfect setting and perfect hospitality, we felt so welcome. We plan to return multiple times!

Very lonely and difficult to reach, but at the same time very beautiful.

Nice B&B with great view; great balcony; very nice & helpful operators.

Room with a view! In Nocelle the road ends. Here it doesn't go any further. After a tiring journey on small winding roads, we reached the parking lot, all full, but Margherita came and even organized a private parking space for us (recommended). The place is small and has only footpaths and stairs, a refuge after all the traffic on the Amalfi Coast. It offers a small supermarket, a good restaurant with superb views and service, a small bar at the end of the Path of the Gods: again superb views and delicious refreshments, on the church square we had tasty lemon sorbet. Our room is clean and cozy, and the best part: we have a magnificent view: Positano lies at our feet and the view over the sea is endless. All the efforts are forgotten and Margherita does everything to make us feel comfortable (among other things, she doesn't hesitate to carry my suitcase). Breakfast offers more than just coffee and croissant! I would come back.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this B&B for three nights and we had a great time. The location of the property could be considered inconvenient due to the distance from the sea, but if you want to enjoy the view it offers, this is essential. We will return to this charming place not only for the breathtaking view from the terrace, where a rich and varied breakfast is served, but also for the atmosphere of genuineness and familiarity offered by the property's managers. The rooms also enjoy a sea view, beautiful! A good place to visit the wonderful Amalfi Coast. Satisfied. (Marianna and Gianluca).

Casa Cuccaro was the best holiday with my partner that I could have ever dreamed of! It was a delightful B&B with spectacular views, charming and warm hosts topped off with an incredible breakfast on a beautiful terrace. The hosts are helpful and kind as well as charismatic. We were visiting different places in Italy but Casa Cuccaro was most definitely the highlight of our trip and we will come back again in the future. I absolutely loved it and would recommend this place to everyone, it's a dream! Make your dreams come true and visit Casa Cuccaro! It was an absolute pleasure staying here :).

Simply great.

A pleasant surprise, a friendly and cordial family welcome, a comfortable and clean room, freshly scented sheets, a comfortable and complete bathroom, a terrace overlooking the Amalfi Coast with a table and sunbed, a plentiful breakfast rich in homemade sweets and cakes, various quality cold cuts, cheeses, yogurt, cereals, lemon or orange juices, fresh bread! Well done!

My wife and I celebrated our first year of marriage in this truly special B&B which offers the tranquility of nature and the alleyways of the characteristic hamlet of Nocelle and at the same time offers proximity to the center of Positano reachable on foot (for the brave like us it was a pleasant descent of about 30 minutes through a characteristic road in nature that offers breathtaking views) as well as by buses departing and arriving from the center on an hourly basis. Also excellent hospitality from the hosts. Definitely recommended!

For those who love emotions and spectacular views. For those who can bear some inconvenience (very difficult parking) just to stay in a warm family atmosphere! For those who love good food, try dinner at the 'Ritrovo' in Montepertuso.

We planned to do a hiking and climbing holiday and Italian friends recommended Nocelle for its proximity to the famous "Path of the Gods" and the sport climbing crags of Montepertuso. As the other contacted B&Bs did not respond, we chose Cuccaro and this turned out to be an excellent choice. The B&B is truly charming, with a breathtaking view from your terrace, excellent breakfast (compared to Italian standards) and lovely innkeepers. Since one of us twisted their ankle on the very first day, we had to spend much more time indoors than outdoors. In this situation, the innkeepers really showed the Italian "hospitality", which we thought was extinguished in these times of mass tourism in Italian seaside resorts like Amalfi. One word on this aspect: Do not be shocked when leaving Nocelle and Montepertuso and descending the steps to Positano to smell the scent of this tourism with all these unmissable fashion, art, and ceramic shops. My advice: Stay for dinner in Nocelle or Montepertuso, or if you really want a romantic dinner by the sea, go to "Da Zaccaria" in Atrani. Other advice: If you do the "Path of the Gods" from Nocelle, you can take the bus directly where the steps arrive in Arienzo and change in Amalfi for Bomerano. However, this takes the same time as hiking to Bomerano and back; -) We will definitely return to Maria and Beppe Cuccaro!
