Armando will be pleased to welcome you to his home in the centre of Caserta. Why should you choose my B&B? For six good reasons: 1) because it’ s a pleasure for me, not a duty to practice this activity: I like welcoming and knowing people from Italy and other countries; 2) you can reach the Royal Palace on foot in 10 minutes, you won’t need to take the car; 3) you will have the possibility to park free of charge in front of the B&B; 4) breakfast is made with high quality products and will be served in a large kitchen; 5) we make good prices; 6) all our guests were satisfied and, leaving, they wrote down positive comments on the B&B. Vanvitelli B&B offers single and double rooms situated in a comfortable flat. We have 3 rooms: one with en-suite bathroom and two with private bathroom. The bedrooms are well-lighted, equipped with televisions and air conditioners.
Breakfast, the use of the refrigerator, the television and the change of the bath-linen every three days are included in the price. Guests can have breakfast in the well fitted kitchen.
It’s a centrally heated flat, and even when there aren’t guests, it turns on 10 hours a day, that’s why the rooms are always heated. Two rooms are provided with air conditioners to meet the chilliest ones’ needs.
Parking possibilities:
- Motorbikes and bicycles can park for free in a garage of manager's property.
- The car can be parked alternatively: 1) under the house, in the street, on white stripes, free of charge. 2) under the house, on the street, on blue stripes, at a cost of only € 0. 60 from Friday to Sunday and holidays from 8 to 14 and from 16 to 24. From Monday to Thursday excluding holidays, from 8 to 14 and from 16 to 21 cost €0. 60 per hour. 3)
at 750 m there is the San Carlo Park, a paid secure car park with video surveillance and the presence of a 24-hour guardian.

In winter, the central heating system starts working from November 15th, automatically, for 9 hours a day. There is no possibility of early ignition.
In the house it's strictly forbidden to smoke. It is possible to do this on the balcony of the kitchen or on the balcony (if present) of the chosen room.

N.B. If you use a satellite navigator to reach the B&B, you won't have any particular problems, otherwise follow the directions below.
Coming from the north.
To reach the B&B, it won't be necessary to enter the city traffic thanks to the new expressway that connects Santa Maria Capua Vetere to Caserta. If you are driving, it is better to exit the A1 motorway at the S.M.C.V. tollbooth. Once you exit, you will come across a roundabout, take the third exit towards Caserta, and you will have entered the expressway. Continue straight for about 7km until you reach a tunnel. Once you pass it, take the first exit on the right (Caserta-hospital), and call us at this point.
Coming from the south.
Exit at the Caserta Nord motorway tollbooth and follow the directions we will send you by email.
HOW TO GET TO THE B&B... FROM THE STATION
At the time of booking, upon request, we will send you by email the directions to reach the B&B on foot from the station. However, since the distance from the station is about 1.5km, we recommend taking a taxi if you have heavy luggage. Alternatively (always from the station), you can take the local bus that arrives first. With the 101, ask the driver to drop you off at via Ruggiero - chiesa del Buon Pastore. With the 103, ask the driver to drop you off at Piazza Pitesti - chiesa del Buon Pastore. From both stops, you will still have to walk 400 meters - 600 meters.

The room was very comfortable and large with 5 beds, TV, small table. Apartment shared with 1 or 2 other rooms. Kitchen with table and chairs and everything you need for breakfast, although we chose breakfast at the bar below the house (included in the price). Parking was easy enough, the center of Caserta and the Royal Palace can be reached with a 15-20 minute walk. Host very kind and helpful. I would definitely go back.

Although it is located on the fourth floor of a residential building, it is served by a convenient elevator. Excellent cleanliness and location, close to the Royal Palace and Casertavecchia. I stayed at the B&B Vanvitelli for just one night. A very cozy and spotlessly clean room with the recently renovated bathroom inside. The owner was very friendly and helpful, even regarding the choice of breakfast to prepare. The palace is less than two minutes away by car (it was raining heavily that day). It will certainly be my first choice in case of returning to Caserta.

We spent a weekend in this property, we had a great time. Although traveling with a young child is not easy, here we found all the necessary comforts, very clean environment, a lot of attention and availability from Armando, quiet rooms and spacious kitchen for breakfast. The location is good, close to the Royal Palace and the most frequented streets of the historic center. I recommend it for both short and long stays. Excellent value for money.

Armando and Agnese are wonderful, warm, and attentive hosts! They are always helpful to their guests in every situation. We have been to the B&B Vanvitelli four times now and feel like we are visiting good friends. The B&B Vanvitelli is ideal for exploring Caserta, the region, Naples, and the wonderful coast in between. It is possible to do this without problems even without a car, as the train connections are cheap and fast. A visit to Herculaneum (Italian: Ercolano) is easily possible. By the way, the small wine shop on Piazza Carlo Cattaneo just around the corner has some fantastic wines from the region on offer! Agnese and Armando, we are happy to come back to you! You are our Italy.

Armando was very kind from the first contact and put us in the conditions to experience the short stay at its best, providing us with all the availability and necessary information. The B&B Vanvitelli, excellent as a structure, is in a good position to reach both the Royal Palace without using the car and the most famous nearby locations (Old Caserta and San Leucio). We definitely want to return.

For two years my girlfriend and I have been regular guests of this welcoming B&B. Located in the center of Caserta and easily reachable, it is the ideal choice for those who want to be close to the jewel of this city, the Royal Palace, and for those who also want to enjoy the nightlife of Caserta. Rooms are very clean, bright, air-conditioned, and equipped with every comfort. The welcome from Armando and Agnese is one of the warmest. Attentive to the well-being and needs of the guests (even at different times), they are friendly and manage to make anyone feel at ease and at home.

Great location, the royal palace and station are very close. Very large, spacious, and bright, as well as air-conditioned. Prices are definitely affordable. The manager is kind and courteous. I do not think anything else needs to be added.

Wonderful apartment, very spacious, clean, bright, and spacious. The rooms are air-conditioned and the manager is kind and available. Recommended especially for groups of friends or families because it creates a welcoming and comfortable area, like at home! The breakfast is plentiful and the hours are flexible to accommodate the guests' organization. The location is optimal and easily reachable from the highway. It was a fantastic stay! The B&B is in an optimal location for those who need to stay in Caserta for short periods. The structure is located in an optimal position between the highway and the city center. Just 5 minutes from the station and the Royal Palace. The apartment is very large. Clean, bright, and air-conditioned. Highly recommended.
