B & B Monaciello is a new B&B situated in the heart of Naples, in via Toledo.
Il” Monaciello”, "small monaco" in Neapolitan dialect is a bizarre and a legendary sprite of the Neapolitan folklore, this’s the name of the new B & B, which opened in Naples, in a historic building in Via Toledo, named “palace Monaco of Lapio” in the center of Naples.
The ancient building that has hosted illustrious nobles of the past, has now become a welcoming and pleasantly warm place that will accompany your stay.
The building, located in via Toledo (formerly Via Roma), was erected in the eighteenth century by the Prince Augustus.
The luxury apartment, completely renovated, includes rooms elegantly furnished and equipped with all the amenities and services possible to ensure a pleasant stay, with rooms that highlight centuries-old cherry wood beamed ceilings, restored to preserve its beauty and historical interest.
The B&B is located in the center of the city and all means of transport are within walking distance: the “funiculars”, which connect the “Vomero hill” where you can enjoy a beautiful view and also visit the “Castel Sant 'Elmo”. The new subway that connects the central station and different areas of Naples, and yet, you can easily reach the port, where the Metro del Mare connects the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida and many destinations to Amalfi Coast.

Excellent location in the center, just a few steps from Toledo metro station, the B&B Monaciello is located in an internal courtyard so the noise from the always crowded via Toledo does not reach the room. Kind, reliable, and helpful host. Very convenient main attractions. Definitely recommend.

The Monaciello B&B is located in Via Toledo, in the heart of Neapolitan shopping, a short distance from the metro station. The room is clean and tidy, Ivan is a host attentive to the customer's needs and always available. I will definitely come back.

Per la mia prima vacanza a Napoli il B&B Monaciello in Via Toledo si è rivelato ottimo per la posizione centrale vicino ai più importanti monumenti e piazze della città, al centro storico che si può raggiungere tranquillamente a piedi e al lungo mare. Comodo alla fermata della Metro Toledo e alla funicolare per il Vomero. Eccezionale l'ospitalità di Mimmo e Ivan che oltre a prepararci una ricca colazione erano sempre pronti a suggerimenti e consigli su luoghi da visitare e locali tipici. Posto in cui tornerò e che consiglio. Teresa.

Il mio soggiorno nella struttura si è limitato sostanzialmente ad un pernottamento, quindi non ho elementi per valutare appieno.
Posso affermare però che:
La struttura, centralissima e ben collegata, per me che mi muovevo con i mezzi pubblici è stata salvifica. Il letto lo ho trovato comodo ed ha consentito un buon riposo (nota per i gestori: consiglio di verificare la caratteristica di un cuscino un po' troppo nodoso).
La colazione seppur limitata all'essenziale ci è stata servita con garbo e propensione.

Ho trovato grande professionalità e pulizia tutto quello che, in fondo, speri di trovare quando sei fuori casa
Al Monaciello io ho scoperto anche belle camere e soprattutto calore umano tipico del meraviglioso carattere napoletano. Ah dimenticavo torte buonissime a colazione, stazione metro a pochi passi e non ultimo posto centralissimo.

Posto molto comodo per la posizione molto centrale. La stanza ricavata in un soppalco non è comodissima, a causa soprattutto della poca insonorizzazione, della ripida scala di accesso e della finestra a bocca di lupo sul pavimento.
La colazione, a parte i due dolci fatti in casa molto buoni, per il resto è abbastanza dozzinale.
Nel complesso può andare ma certo non al prezzo di 85€ a notte. Decisamente troppo elevato per la qualità del tutto (cibo, arredamento, soluzioni abitative ecc).

Il B&B si trova nel cuore di Napoli, in Via Toledo, a pochi passi dai monumenti di maggior interesse (Piazza Plebiscito, Palazzo Reale, Maschio Angioino, Castel dell'Ovo), a poca distanza dal Porto e dal lungomare Caracciolo, e a qualche centinaio di metri da "Portalba", che dà accesso alla suggestiva zona di "Spaccanapoli".
Bellissimo e curato il palazzo nobiliare in cui si trova la struttura.
Al primo piano ma con ingresso indipendente, l'affittacamere è stato ristrutturato di recente, in modo semplice ma con gusto. L'ambiente è informale ma familiare, interamente climatizzato.
Le camere hanno bagni spaziosi, materassi comodi, e si presentano molto pulite.
I titolari, Mimmo ed Ivan, sono particolarmente accoglienti, disponibili, pronti a venire incontro alle esigenze della clientela.
Di grande vantaggio la vicinanza della fermata metro "Toledo" della Linea 1, a circa 50 metri dalla struttura.

Ottima posizione, vicinissimo alla fermata della metro, 5 minuti a piedi da piazza del Plebiscito, e vicino al centro storico ed ai quartieri spagnoli, molto tranquilla. Il titolare è molto disponibile, ci ha consentito di lasciare i bagagli anche nel pomeriggio. Molto pulito e ristrutturato da poco. sicuramente da ritornare.
