The accommodation is located in the historic center of Salerno, in Vicolo degli Amalfitani, precisely in the building where the fellow citizen poet Alfonso Gatto lived.
From the accommodation, you can reach the main places of interest and culture of the city on foot in a few minutes, such as the Cathedral, the opera theater named after G. Verdi, the historic Villa Comunale, the Minerva botanical garden, and other historical buildings.
Furthermore, the accommodation is located near the promenade, the beach of S. Teresa, and the port, as well as Via Roma, which is the center of Salerno's nightlife with its numerous clubs, restaurants, pizzerias, pubs, and bars, an ideal place to spend a pleasant evening.

The place is charming and very well-kept. What makes it even more special is the care and passion that the owners put into managing the B&B Degli Amalfitani, making the guest feel at home. For the holiday in Salerno I decided to stay at this B&B, considering the optimal location in the heart of the historic center and the proximity to the beach of Santa Teresa. The structure, very clean and organized, has WiFi, air conditioning, TV, and also a convenient mini fridge to keep drinks cool, there is also a common kitchen equipped to prepare coffee or teas independently offered by the house. For those who instead desire a great breakfast, the B&B has an agreement with a nearby bar within walking distance. A weekend spent in serenity in the heart of Salerno, also thanks to the very friendly staff who made themselves available to suggest places and local spots to visit: I highly recommend it for a quiet stay between city and sea.
