Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by Michela, a friendly and hospitable person, who will be delighted to provide you with all the necessary information for your stay, as well as share some suggestions on the best places to visit and restaurants to try. While you're here, Michela will unveil the location of one of the few truly family-run taverns along the Coast. This is a place where you can enjoy excellent food at affordable prices. Here, you will have the opportunity to savor traditional dishes, such as handmade "scialatielli" with seafood or in Sicilian style, as well as the classic genovese, fresh fried shrimp and local squid. As for desserts, do not miss the lemon delight or the ricotta and pear. And to conclude the meal in the best way, you can taste a refreshing limoncello made with the characteristic lemons of the Coast.

In addition to exploring the historic center of Amalfi and the other coastal towns nearby, from your home you will have many other opportunities to discover fascinating places. Just a five-minute walk away is the village of Conca, where you can admire new breathtaking views or enjoy an aperitif in the former Monastery of Santa Rosa, now transformed into a luxurious 5-star hotel (visible from your home as well). It is right here that the famous Neapolitan sfogliatella was born, originally prepared by the nuns. Every year, the Santa Rosa Sfogliatella Festival is held, an unmissable event.
On the other side, you will find a beautiful swimming pool with a bar and restaurant. This is not only a perfect place for a swim, but also to enjoy a stunning view.
In the surroundings, in addition to the main beaches of Amalfi, there are other places such as Duoglio, 800 meters away, Santa Croce, the Furore Fjord, and Capo di Conca, the latter with a dedicated shuttle service. Within a short distance, you can also visit the Emerald Grotto.
If you are passionate about walks and hiking, there are several nature trails to explore. One of these is the Via Maestra dei Villaggi, an ancient road that connected Amalfi to Agerola and the other coastal towns. This trail passes right next to your home. Furthermore, the famous Path of the Gods can be reached in just 20 minutes by car or bus, with the bus stop right in front of your home.
Regarding longer excursions, you can reach Positano, Ravello, the Pompeii Excavations, Mount Vesuvius, and Sorrento in about 30 minutes. Naples and its airport are about 60 minutes away. If you wish to visit Capri, you can plan an additional day to take a 50-minute ferry and return in the evening.

One evening we had dinner in the room with the terrace overlooking the coast: wonderful. On arrival, we were greeted by Sergio, very friendly, who 'accompanied' us throughout our stay with advice and was super helpful and attentive to our needs. In the apartment you will also find a ring binder with lots of useful information, the same ones that were sent to us via email a few days before arrival: bus and timetables, taxi number, beaches nearby, recommended restaurants. For breakfast, you can buy whatever you want at the Marcellino supermarket which is 100 meters from the house, or you can go to the bar down the street 200 meters away. In short, if you want to visit the coast, I can only recommend it! In 5 minutes you are in the historic center and from there with the ferries (I recommend it, the roads are to be avoided) visit Positano, Capri, Sorrento... In the evening when you return to the apartment, have dinner in the room with an unforgettable view of the sea.
