Casamia B&B is located slightly outside the town center, but that's exactly what gives it its charm. On foot or by bus you can reach everywhere, and the landscape you discover along the way is simply beautiful. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast is simple and tasty, and with a lovely view it is twice as good. The parking situation was also well solved; the shuttle service worked perfectly every day. The rooms are lovingly furnished, clean, and offer everything you could wish for. The B&B is highly recommended.

I loved Amalfi and also this family of this B&B that welcomed me! I recommend the place to all travelers.

Lovely host and family made us feel very welcome. The steps to the rooms are not for the faint-hearted. Slightly out of Amalfi, but there is a bus stop near the accommodation to take you into Amalfi.

July 2024 - Unfortunately, my stay was not pleasant and consequently, my vacation was ruined. The room assigned to me did not match the photos on the website, but above all, it was not the one from the photo in the email confirmation of the reservation. The response I received from the manager was: "We always put the photo of the best room; it is your fault for choosing this room without a sea view." This is misleading advertising. On their website https://www.amalficasamia.it/it/, the type of room is clear. In other cases, during the reservation, you are always redirected to https://www.bed-and-breakfast.it even if you start from Tripadvisor. However, not from Booking, and in this last case, the advertising is misleading; you see the photo of the best room, book, receive the email with the photo of the room you saw, but when you arrive, the room is different. Surely, there will be those who can use it and those like me who end up in the "Atrani" room, which is effectively a shack because it is tiny, without a window except for a small opening that overlooks a concrete wall, without a wardrobe except for a small clothing rack. It is known that in a B&B the bathroom is small, but in a shower cabin as wide as an arm, it is impossible to fit inside and wash as usual because you must always stand or open the door to bend down, causing water to spill out. Trying to make the reservation again while writing this review and paying attention to the details, I discovered that the structure consists of 5 rooms: 3 have balconies, 1 has a window, 1 has a hole that overlooks the concrete, and the latter is called the "Atrani" room, but as mentioned above, the photo that arrives is always the same. Moreover, it is unfortunate that upon arrival, Alessandro, the owner, was not there due to an unforeseen event. When I explained the problem over the phone, he said that we would find an agreement the next day either on the price or the room change. However, in the morning, he was neither found nor reachable by phone; his status on WhatsApp had even disappeared. If one unforeseen event is possible, two consecutive ones and the lack of contact suggest that it is practice to avoid customers who point out that they have been deceived by misleading advertising where the photos in the booking are not compliant with the real ones. The response from the sister who manages the bar was: "The photo we put is of the best room for advertising." At this point, I packed my bags and left, paying for only one night out of the 4 I had booked, without a discount and without apologies, what opportunists. The misadventures are not over. On the website, it is claimed that "our guests enjoyed the abundant breakfast." In the morning, at the bar below, when asked what we were entitled to for breakfast, the response was, "a croissant and a cappuccino each." I have never seen such stinginess in a B&B that usually offers both sweet and savory in abundance. I add, to prevent a family with children and a stroller or an elderly person or a woman used to always wearing heels from cursing the place, that reaching the room is very tiring. There are 80 steep steps without a railing to climb; with luggage, you must stop halfway because you are exhausted. Kudos to the managers for not mentioning this on the site and for transforming it into a selling point with the phrase "80 steps that will allow you to be away from the noise." Conclusion: beware, be careful, outrageous prices for the type of room and for the effort to reach it. In July 2024, for 175 euros per day, the "Atrani" room is a scam. Another doubt: few negative reviews can be found on the internet, strange, perhaps they are deleted? Who knows. I am Massimo from Reggio Emilia, 53 years old, everything documented with video; I hope this does not happen to others with this review of mine.

Very nice room and bathroom conforming to the photos on the website with a superb sea view. The access to the rooms requires a good physical condition (about 70 steps)... There is a lack of a cozy space for breakfast, which is served at the bar of the establishment at the roadside... Nice welcome from our host who did not hesitate to carry our luggage upstairs and answer our questions. Thank you to him... Small problem with hot water upon our arrival. Our host was able to temporarily solve the issue the next day. Difficult to find a technician on Sunday... The establishment is located 3 km from Amalfi, which is not the most convenient if traveling by public transport...

The hosts were super helpful and always very kind. Can absolutely recommend this place. It's amazing what you will get for such a low price. The room was very clean and quite big.

We absolutely loved our time at Amalfi Casamia! Alessandro and Miriana were so incredibly sweet and the room was spotless and very comfy. The location is perfect, 5 minutes from the bus stop and the view is amazing. Their burgers are seriously the best we have ever had, too! 10/10.

Would highly recommend this place to stay in Amalfi, easy access by bus into town. Great hosts couldn’t be more helpful, really made us feel welcome and looked after us.

The owner, Alessandro, was absolutely wonderful. Very friendly and accommodating with our needs. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. It is located on the side of the mountain so the stairs to the room were steep but doable. The bus into the city is nearby and cheap. I highly recommend this b&b. I will return. I feel like I made a new friend in Italy.
