Al Poggio Antico is located in Pogerola, a hamlet of Amalfi, about 400 meters above sea level, surrounded by ancient lemon terraces.
From the property, guests can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the sea and the mountains — a unique landscape that offers emotions at any time of the day.
The location is quiet yet strategic, ideal for easily reaching the center of Amalfi and its beaches:
– On foot: in about 35–40 minutes, along a fascinating path of 1, 000 steps that winds through lemon groves and typical coastal views;
– By bus: in 15–20 minutes, with stops along the main road about 800 meters from the apartments;
– By car: also in about 15 minutes, following the scenic coastal road — perfect for stopping to admire and photograph Amalfi from above.
Dating back to the 17th century, Al Poggio Antico has been carefully restored, preserving its characteristic vaulted ceilings and the authentic style of the Amalfi tradition.
It offers five independent apartments, each with a private entrance, fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, bathroom with shower or bathtub, and a sea view.
All accommodations feature a balcony or terrace, ideal for relaxing at sunset.
The property also offers a small private car park (limited spaces, reservation required, extra charge).
The building is surrounded by flowering gardens and lemon terraces.

"Al Poggio Antico" is situated in strategic position on the mountainous side of Amalfi at 300 meters of sea level in a little hamlet named Pogerola; our apartments boast a wonderful panorama: frontally we have seasight, on the right side we have a mountain full of vegetation and on the left we have our typical lemon orchard with characteristic steps (about 500) to go directly from the apartment to Amalfi center, always with unforgettable panorama for your photos and memories
Our apartments are in strategic position: if you have a car you can park on the road close the apartmens and you can reach Amalfi with bus (we advise this way) in maximum 15/20 minutes and you have a bus-stop just on tne main road close the apartment, but you can also reach Amalfi through the lemon orchard with many panoramic steps to taste the wonderful panorama (we advise to choose this solution just to walk down to take photos and to look at typical villas, vegetation, churches of Amalfi coast. Walking for 5 minutes there's the square of Pogerola's hamlet, where you can find markets, churches, restaurants, bars...and many paths in the wood, throught a wonderful vegetation always with panorama.

We spent a few splendid days in this beautiful house with a breathtaking view. From the room, which directly overlooked the terrace, you could always see the sea. A great atmosphere with the stars and down there in Amalfi the illuminated boats. We took advantage of the terrace for breakfasts and some evening aperitifs/snacks. However, the house is well equipped, if desired you can easily cook and the basic food items are provided. A great silence, only the sounds of nature and the sea. The only downside, we had to earn it by going down and then climbing stairs. The bus stop is at a short distance, a pleasant walk. The owner has always been kind and helpful. We will come back to stay longer!

We stayed 5 days in this property and we really liked it. The accommodations have a balcony with a sea view and are in a quiet location 10 minutes by car/scooter from Amalfi or 10 minutes on foot via a beautiful staircase path (as is normal on the coast). Our apartment was spacious and perfect for our needs. The managers were very kind and gave us a lot of information and suggestions. The village of Pogerola has some nice typical restaurants and from Pogerola there are less traveled but really beautiful treks.

Excellent apartment, everything you need is there. They even change your towels after 2 or 3 days! The view is the best ever, so relaxing! There is dog's song all around, which is funny to hear. It's just a little pain to get the luggage to this place. A shuttle would be a great idea to increase customer experience!

Very quiet apartment with a panoramic terrace overlooking the sea, usable for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Efficient kitchen with the necessary amenities. Even though not written, upon arrival you will find milk and the essentials for a plentiful breakfast (toast and jam) and also Mrs. Luisa is a lovely person, available for any need. Easily accessible by bus and a 5-minute walk from the stop; for the most tenacious and sporty, it is possible to descend to Amalfi also through a 15-20 minute downhill staircase. Surely, if we were to return, we will consider the structure.
