Al Poggio Antico

"Al Poggio Antico" is located in a strategic position on the mountainside of Amalfi, at 400 meters above sea level, in a small hamlet called Pogerola. Our apartments offer a breathtaking panorama: directly in front, we have a sea view; to the right, a lush mountain full of vegetation; and to the left, our typical lemon orchard, from there about 1, 000 characteristic steps leading directly from the apartment to the center of Amalfi. Along the way, you will enjoy unforgettable views, perfect for your photos and memories.

The property is strategically located, offering three different ways to reach the center of Amalfi and the beaches in just a few minutes:
On foot, in about 35–40 minutes, directly from the apartments, by descending a path of about 1, 000 steps, one of the most characteristic and panoramic paths you’ll ever walk. The route winds through greenery and the fragrance of lemon groves, passing by the beautiful and typical houses of the Amalfi Coast, with the continuous excitement of approaching the vastness of the sea. We recommend taking this path at least once during your stay and only going downhill (from Pogerola to Amalfi).

By bus, on the main road, which will take you directly to the beaches in 15–20 minutes. The bus stop is about 800 meters from our apartments, with stops every 300 meters. The buses run every 45–60 minutes and are very punctual, making them the most recommended mode of transport during your stay.

If you have a car, you can drive the same road in about 15 minutes and have the opportunity to make various popular stops to photograph the stunning panorama of beautiful Amalfi. Please note that our apartments are located just above Amalfi, and the duration of the route is due to the circular nature of the road, given the mountainous terrain of the Amalfi Coast.

An ancient farmhouse dating back to the 1600s, it has been renovated while preserving the typical "vaults" of the coast. The building consists of five independent apartments across three levels, each with its own entrance and kitchen. All offer a panoramic sea view and are equipped with heating and air conditioning. Each apartment features a bathroom with either a shower or a bathtub, a refrigerator, a well-equipped kitchenette, a TV (for Italian channels only), and a balcony or terrace, where you can end your day in complete relaxation, enjoying one of the world’s most coveted panoramas.

The building is surrounded by spacious, well-maintained gardens that are always in bloom, as well as terraces planted with lemon trees. Our staff is always happy to assist you to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible.

From the access road, it’s just a few minutes to the charming center of Pogerola, the largest of the Amalfi hamlets, a popular spot for tourists who enjoy picnics. Bars, restaurants, markets, pastry shops, and even the historic churches are all just a short walk away.

In the Pogerola square, you can also catch the bus to reach Amalfi.
