B&B SERENDIPITY it's situated in TORTORA MARINA (CS) IN CALABRIA it's the first urban nucleos of the tirrenic coast, it has four rooms with private bathroom, and every comfort all furnished with taste and semplicity, around home a nice garden to relax between the scents of citrus. B&B Serendipity offers for breakfast a rich variety of sweet food. Our services: cleaning room every day, languages English and French, informative tourist material. The owner, a touristic guide, is able to organize interesting cultural routes in TORTORA and other nice town near it. In addition you can do to spend your time, ecological excursion by bike and by horse, rafting, flying. B&B SERENDIPITY it's not only sea.. but both fun and culture.

Breakfast buffet is my good day for guests of Serendipity, which come in the room greeted by a delicious scent, attention to detail, from the mise en place for tasty croissants artfully prepared by a local bakery, as well as cakes prepared daily by me according to your choices and then also seasonal fruits from the trees that shade the garden Serendipity. The tasty marmalade, the creamy chocolate, various fruit juices, coffee, tea and cappuccino and many other things that are added from time to time. We are also provided to prepare a delicious breakfast for vegetarians, vegans and lactose intolerant and gluten. A sweet awakening from the sun and caressed by the gentle sound of birds, the doves and turtle doves, under a fragrant bower of red grapes.

Always been in the hospitality industry and an expert tourist guide and interpreter, for some years was born Serendipity Bed and Breakfast, which is my way of being, very simple.. but special and careful attention to detail, not so much in form but in content. Pleased to welcome and to have a peaceful stay. My house is for a small number of guests to be able to offer one of my greater availability and it is one of the reasons that made me choose to have a B & B. Serendipity want to contact the tourist who loves the quiet, curious to know the place that houses it, who really desire to vacation in full relax and appreciate the uses of, the art, the traditions and the culture of Tortora and neighboring countries from visit. I am always ready to advise the guest of everything to make interesting days, considering the holiday host my vacation, and when you come back to your life my hospitality will be a nice reminder of a time together to friends, surrounded by the courtesy which has always distinguished the passion for my job.. My idea of Holiday is to be always able to capture the scent that remains.. the taste that envelops you in the place you've visited,, any area of the world is, we understand that the holiday is worth to be lived in full above all for themselves.

If you are coming from the north on the A3 highway, take the Lagonegro exit and follow the signs for Tortora Marina for about 37 km. If you are coming from the south, take the Falerna exit and drive on ss18 until you reach the Tortora Marina exit.

If you prefer to travel by train, the PrajaAjetaTortora station is the closest one.

The nearest airports are Lamezia Terme and Naples.

Starting from Tortora Marina, along the Tyrrhenian coast of Cosenza, you can visit the various towns of the Riviera dei Cedri, the beautiful Island of Dino, which is a favorite spot for divers because of its wonderful depths. Among the most suggestive scenarios to visit are the Sanctuary of Madonna della Grotta in Praia a Mare, the Murals of Diamante, and the Sanctuary of San Francesco di Paola.

The Serendipity B&B is located in a central point to visit other beautiful and famous tourist destinations, such as Praia a Mare, San Nicola Arcella, Scalea, Diamante, and the historic villages with the Orange Flag like Aieta, which are rich in history, art, and traditions. Tortora Marina is bordering with the splendid town of Maratea, where you can visit the imposing Statue of the Redeemer. In an hour's drive, crossing the coast of Basilicata and Cilento, you will find yourself inside the suggestive Certosa di Padula and the National Park of Cilento.

For unlimited fun, the "AquaFans" park is just a few kilometers away from the Serendipity B&B.

We stayed at Serendipity in the last week of August. We returned yesterday. We stayed in the "Rose" room. We had a great time: a very comfortable, cozy and family-like atmosphere. You feel at home. The property is very nice; the room was clean, large and equipped with every comfort. The owner Silvia is a true hostess. Always smiling, available at any time and ready to fulfill our every request. Breakfast is very good. The location is strategic, located on a main street with bars, a supermarket and various nearby venues and 5 minutes from the sea. Definitely 100% recommended. We will return.

Let’s start with the fact that we will definitely be returning. We were welcomed, supported, and guided. The room was super clean in every corner and provided everything abundantly. We travel very often and it is hard to find all these services and a room this clean (even in 4-star hotels).

Serendipity is a very easy to reach B&B located in view of the main road where there is also a bar and a restaurant within walking distance in case you do not want to take the car (possibility of parking in the white lines). In 5 minutes by car you can reach Praia a Mare (restaurants, bars, etc.) strolling in the center. 50 minutes from the Christ the Redeemer and Matera historic center. The B&B is very welcoming, thanks to the owner who will not hold back for a chat at any hour. Clean and tidy room. Breakfast is well done (especially if the lady delights you with some homemade cake as happened during my stay). Recommended!

I stayed at this B&B from September 3rd to September 5th with my family. The property is in good condition and is managed by Mrs. Silvia, a delightful person who is very helpful for any eventuality. Our room (Papavero) had dated furnishings but everything was in excellent condition and very clean. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The beach is about 200 meters away, so it is possible to reach it comfortably on foot. The B&B is located in a strategic point due to the presence of various commercial activities, including restaurants and bars, and for its proximity to other locations such as Praia al Mare, San Nicola Arcella, and Maratea. I would return.

The owner was very kind and helpful. She gave us another room as the one we booked was already taken. Even though all the other rooms were occupied, she was very accommodating. The floor and bedding were clean. Unfortunately, the toilet seat was missing in the bathroom and the bidet was not quite clean. Nevertheless, one cannot complain, as the owner provided us with the room. The room is located on the main street and is therefore very close to the restaurants. However, this is also a disadvantage as it is quite noisy.

The structure was well positioned, clean, and well maintained. The real strength is Silvia, the manager of the place: helpful, friendly, kind, an excellent tour guide to visit the area, truly the backbone of the structure. I stayed for a weekend at this wonderful property, fresh, welcoming and in a strategic position to visit the area. 5 minutes walk to reach Praia a Mare, 10 minutes by car from Maratea, San Nicola Arcella and the splendid hills overlooking the sea. I stayed for a weekend at this magnificent B&B managed by Silvia. I arrived by train and she came to pick me up at the station, also taking me back when I left, which speaks volumes about the attention and care given to the guests. The structure is very welcoming: it is located on the main road but at the same time, the courtyard surrounding it, crowned by a splendid and refreshing pergola, makes it an intimate place secluded from the city's hustle and bustle. The seafront is close by, just a few minutes away. The rooms are clean and airy. Kindness, competence, availability, friendliness, Silvia perfectly embodies the spirit of hospitality and truly makes you feel at home; her sweets are delicious, her advice invaluable, and the chats about the history and beauties of the place very pleasant. I would go back today.

The structure is very nice and welcoming. A beautiful pergola in front of the entrance and, around the house, a large sheltered and shaded parking lot. I found my car cool despite the sunny and quite hot day (late May)! My room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom? More than clean, neat (you can see elbow grease is used)! Sheets and towels? Colorful to bring joy just by looking at them, fresh from the laundry, with the taste of sun and wind (you can see that even the sun of Calabria plays its part). And then, what about the welcome? Silvia is a delightful well-informed host about the beauties of the area. Thanks to her, I discovered the museum of Tortora, actually called the museum of Blanda, the name the Romans had given it, which has interesting artifacts, but also many things to see just for the pleasure of the eyes. You have to go to the village, up the hill, and drive a few kilometers. It's worth it, the view is spectacular: cliffs, green mountains, sea view. There are many beautiful places near the B&B that Silvia suggested to me, even though just a walk on the beautiful beach of Tortora, a few minutes walk from Isola di Dino, can already work as an excellent refresher (it worked wonders for me!). I felt pampered and welcomed by Silvia. I want to go back!

Very quiet place, very clean and welcoming rooms, everything very tidy, excellent value for money. For work, I often sleep in Bed and Breakfasts between Sicily and Calabria, but this Bed and Breakfast I guarantee it to you also thanks to the kindness and competence of Mrs. Silvia. Surely I will return to this place soon but this time with my family for vacation to enjoy this wonderful corner of Calabria. Guess where I will stay? Clearly at Serendipity.

I have just returned from a mini-holiday with my husband and my eleven-month-old son and our judgment is extremely positive. The B&B is located in a strategic position because in a few minutes of walking you can reach both the sea and the center of Praja. By car, it takes just a handful of minutes to reach Maratea and Castrocucco. The treatment was excellent, Mrs. Silvia, the owner of the B&B, shows right from the start that she manages it with passion and has not neglected any of the guests. Every detail is taken care of and everything is always very clean. She provided me with a corner to prepare baby food and milk for my child and her constant presence, absolutely never invasive, allowed us to fully enjoy the holiday. It is definitely a holiday to repeat.
