Description

My property is a special place, once a hotel-restaurant run by my parents, where I grew up. Today, I offer hospitality in my apartment attached to the building. I have transformed all the rooms into independent spaces, renovating them to ensure maximum comfort: bathrooms, air conditioning, television, and refrigerator. My guests will immediately feel at ease, as they are in the heart of the city, just steps away from both the main avenue and the sea. I realize that they feel serene and immediately become part of the family, which makes me happy. They know they can count on me for any need, and thanks to the restaurant, I can delight them with my best specialties, satisfying even the most demanding palates. Undoubtedly, the main advantage of the location of my B&B is its strength. Additionally, the friendliness, attention to the cleanliness of the rooms and provided linen, as well as a delicious breakfast, make my property truly special. I always strive to improve with small and constant renovations, to make my guests' stay even more pleasant and comfortable.

Hello, I'm Rosalba, the owner of this establishment. Raised in a family of passionate hoteliers and restaurateurs, I have inherited my mother's love for traditional and quality cuisine. Since I was a child, I have always wanted to welcome new people and make them feel part of our establishment. I love my country and enjoy sharing with our guests the most beautiful places to visit, such as the Madonna della Grotta sanctuary, located right in front of the establishment. I can only recommend the Di Dino island, famous for its spectacular caves, and the medieval historic center of Aieta, elected "The Most Beautiful Village in Italy", where tradition is still alive today.

Porto di Mare is located in the central part of the village between the avenue and the waterfront in distance walked from the station.

The main seaside attraction is the Dino Island, in the Fiuzzi district. An island very close to the coast that hides in her womb three caves: Cave Lion, the Blue Grotto and the Cave of the Falls.

The historic center of Praia a Mare is Aieta, a medieval town famous for its castle of the sixth century, where visitors can taste the flavors of an ancient culture.

Moving north to just 15 km there's Maratea, an ancient village famous for its Christ as well as the coast, the marina, and a dynamic nightlife.

The town of Diamante is just as close. Although it has become known thanks to the "Festival of Chili" also stands for public art and murals hidden in the alleys.

Very pleasant stay as the property is cozy and clean and is located a short walk from the sea, the center, and the train station, all easily reachable on foot. The room was not very spacious but perfect for two people. Very kind and helpful owner.

My husband and I spent a very pleasant weekend, thanks to the availability and kindness of the owners of the structure who also manage the homonymous restaurant, where we had lunch and dinner excellently during the stay. Three days of absolute relaxation, a stone's throw from the sea, for which we thank Mrs. Rosalba, her husband, and Chef Angelo who delighted us with his seafood dishes. We hope to come back soon.

We stayed for 2 nights.\n\nPositive notes: located on the main street and 50 meters from the seafront, economical (because it's April), very kind and helpful managers but I think they should hand over the management to someone younger and more enterprising, without offense to anyone.\n\nNegative notes: we were 3 in a room that was a hole and we could barely move, poor hygiene (probably a quick clean at the beginning of the season, I had to clean the bedside tables and the table with sanitizing wipes and black came out), managers of a certain age who forgot the smallest request within a few minutes.\n\nA pity because with more attention they could do better.

We had a great time, the property is located in the center of Praia a Mare and a stone's throw from the sea. The breakfast is good and plentiful. The managers are very friendly, the decor should be renewed a bit, but we had a pleasant holiday.

Great structure for those who want to be a stone's throw from the sea but at the same time in the center of Praia. Our room was comfortable, spacious and equipped with a convenient and functional bathroom. The breakfast served in the restaurant annexed to the B&B was great and abundant. A deserved mention goes to the two people who manage the structure, namely Gianni and Rosalba, people of unique availability and kindness.
