Description
The Peppino e Lucia House B&B has most modern creature conforts. Situated in the village of Botricello within short distance of the Marine Riserve of Capo Rizzuto and 20 minutes from the large forests of the Sila Mountains. The hause has fitting standards required by the Calabrian Region Tourism Board to promote the area. This house is typical of local history and culture and perfectly situated if one wishes to interact with the locals or prefers the more active tourist resorts within a few miles. To all this is added the collaboration with "INFINITY" Beauty and Wellness Center of our daughter Lucia, who will entrust the care of your body in a totally relaxing atmosphere. All surrounding villages are accessable not only in summer months but also all the year round, whit exelent travel services. Your stay at the Casa of Peppino and Lucia B&B is made pleasant cheerfull and hospitable by the owners, whom if needed they will suggest the most interesting places to visit and organize your travel itinerary. The living area of the hause have been designed with a light and aid feel with a regard to your privacy if you wish it. The twin rooms have onsuit bathroom equipped with air conditioning, fridge, and intercom system, LCD TV with SAT, one of the room is wheelchair friendly. The bed have orthopaedic mattresses and pillows. There is a well equipped common kitchen and lounge area were you can enjoy breakfast in a family atmosphere or simply relax in the snug area with sofas and home theatre. The oak furnishing blend perfectly with the surrandig decolore making the place look homely warm and intimate. The room overlook spacious balcones with outside seating and eating area, surranded by beautiful potted flowers.
There will be a beautifull breakfast served of which a choice of local produce will be provided. If request you can try the homely cooking of Mrs. Rosa for lunch or dinner.

In the House of Lucia and Peppino, after a guaranteed restful night, it is essential to start the day with a good breakfast. Enjoy this moment in a bright and welcoming environment, such as the dining room, or a more friendly venue such as the kitchen. You will be able to enjoy the following sweets: - Tarts with fruit, jam, ricotta, almonds; - The ciambellone with cocoa, coconut, candied fruit, chocolate flakes, fruit flavoured; - Fruit pies with blueberry jam, cream, chocolate, macaroons, various flavours of custards, tiramisù; - Traditional sweets such as cuzzupa, pitta 'nchiusa, nipitelle, zeppole, pignolata, struffoli, taralli; - Alternatively you can always find fresh products from local bakeries such as excellent croissants, sweets made with almonds, puff-pastries, cannoli, Puff-pastries with various jams.
For those who love savouries there may also be tastings of the well-known: - Calabrian salamis such as soppressata, capicollo, culatello, bacon (made in house); - Cheeses such as pecorino, the provola the butirri etc., (from local farms); not to mention the wheat bread baked in a wood-fired oven, jam, butter and fresh local fruit such as figs, prickly pears, oranges, plums, etc., (depending on season) You will be offered only fresh milk from the Region of Calabria, excellent coffee roasted locally, tea, juice and water from the Sila region.

I stayed with my family in this establishment during the two central weeks of August and we had a great time. The owner is a very nice person and is always very friendly and helpful. The room was handed over in a very orderly and clean manner. The establishment is located just a few steps from the center where you can find everything you need, from the market to the bakery to the bar, etc. The sea is a little more than one kilometer away and is very clean and clear. I hope to return and stay in this establishment in the future.

Even though I wasn't often at La Casa di Peppino e Lucia B&B, I would like to compliment the manager, who was very helpful and kind. The structure is located 500 meters from the sea, you can easily walk there for those who want to take a nice stroll.

We had a great time and will definitely come back, Leonardo, the owner, is a delightful, helpful, and discreet person. But the wife is an exceptional cook! Amazing breakfasts and all kinds of advice. Basically at the end of the stay... we became friends.

Returning from a long vacation in Sicily, we stopped for three days in Botricello, at this B&B, to meet some friends. My wife and I had a great time! The owner Mr. Leo is very friendly and helpful, we felt at home! The breakfast is well taken care of, the room equipped with all the comforts. Excellent cleanliness! Absolutely recommended.

We had a great time. The property is very welcoming and modern. The furnishings are brand new and of high quality. The owners were extremely kind and helpful. If we ever return to Calabria, we would definitely stay at this B&B again. As a final note, I would like to add that the breakfast was fantastic: every morning we found homemade pastries from Mrs. Rosa. It is the bed and breakfast we would like to find in every place and that we would recommend to anyone.
