Home Ciccilla is named after the grandmother of the current owner, a beloved figure deeply connected to the fishing village of Catona. The establishment was created out of a desire to provide hospitality in an authentic and charming setting, highly valued by travelers who discover the subtle allure of this Calabrian location each year.

Located just 300 meters from the sea and directly across from the train station, Home Ciccilla enjoys a strategic position for those looking to explore comfortably and fully experience the area. Reggio Calabria is only 7 km away and features one of Italy's most picturesque promenades, overlooking the Strait. Here, visitors can lose themselves in the wonders of nature and the famous optical illusion of the Fata Morgana, with the majestic Etna volcano looming in the background.

Nearby, you will find the National Museum, home to the renowned Bronzi di Riace, and just 28 km away is Gambarie d’Aspromonte, a unique destination where you can ski in the winter months while enjoying views of the sea. To the north, about 15 km away, lies the beautiful town of Scilla, along with its district Chianalea, which overlooks the Costa Viola, famous for its vibrant and shifting reflections.
