Description

Our two rooms are located within an apartment situated on Corso Messina, behind the magnificent seafront of Crotone (via Cristoforo Colombo), in a convenient location for both vacationers and those in the city for work purposes. A car is not necessary to visit the city or reach the main public offices. The apartment has recently been renovated and includes a breakfast room, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom that can be converted into a double, and two bathrooms, one for each room to ensure maximum comfort. Located on the third floor of a quiet condominium with an elevator, the apartment is only 50 meters from the sea and 400 meters from the center (Piazza Pitagora). The historic center is easily reachable (about 250 meters) through a staircase that leads to the Castle of Carlo V and the splendid Villa Comunale.

I consider Crotone and its surrounding areas fascinating and timeless places. My objective is to contribute to the promotion of this area, which is often little known and appreciated. Crotone enjoys an enviable location: it overlooks the sea and the mountain is less than an hour's drive away. The beauty of our sea, the jagged coasts and the immense beaches of red sand are well known. However, the extraordinary beauty of the nearby mountain is less known. For example, in Sila there is a valley at about 1900 meters above sea level called Valley of Hell, where snow is present almost all year round, melting only in the month of June. For this reason, it is called the "little glacier" of Sila. This place can be reached by a cable car inaugurated in 2018.

The accommodation is situated on the third floor of a quiet building with an elevator. It is close to the beach, only 50 meters away, and 400 meters from the heart of the city, which is Piazza Pitagora. You can easily reach the historic center (approximately 250 meters away) by taking a staircase that leads to the Castle of Carlo V and the beautiful public park known as Villa Comunale.

Roberto is a genuine and sincere person... it's always nice to be greeted by the host... clear instructions about access etc and great recommendation for a restaurant for dinner up town. Beach and promenade a 3 minute walk away. Excellent value.
