Description
La Rosa dei Venti B&B is a place where comfort combines with Calabrian hospitality, in the heart of Marina di Gioiosa Ionica, 300 m from the town's central square and 500 m from the sea.
The B&B is located on the ground floor of an independent building, completely renovated in 2024.
It enjoys a convenient location, from which guests can reach all the main services in a few minutes: within a maximum radius of 300 m there are the train station and the bus stop, the church in the town's central square, a newsagent-tobacconist, an excellent artisanal ice cream shop, various restaurants and rotisseries, the pharmacy; 500 m away are the seafront and the beach.
The structure includes three rooms, all with private bathroom with shower, equipped with shampoo and hairdryer, wall-mounted TV, independent air conditioning, mini-fridge, kettle and coffee maker in the room. The rooms are all furnished with new, modern and functional furniture, in theme with the colors of the room.
One room has a kitchen, equipped with a dishwasher.
The three rooms, each with a different theme linked to the territory - sea, nature and traditions - open around a small charming shared internal courtyard, equipped with a table and chairs, where there is also an area with a washing machine, free of charge for guests. On the adjacent terrace on the 1st floor there are drying racks for the rooms.
We offer our guests, in any season, the opportunity to make their holiday a unique travel experience, a dive into the uncontaminated nature and history of our land, thanks to the support of the owner Roberta, a tour guide and diving instructor.
Guests can, upon reservation, organize excursions to the nearby Aspromonte National Park, guided tours of medieval villages and museums and archaeological parks of Calabria, as well as scuba diving experiences for adults and children and diving courses of all levels.
Upon request, a shuttle service is available from the airports of Lamezia Terme and Reggio Calabria.

The B&B La Rosa dei venti is located 500 m from the sea in Marina di Gioiosa Ionica, a quiet seaside town along the Costa dei Gelsomini, which offers one of the most beautiful and still uncontaminated beaches in Calabria: the beach is wide and the fine sand alternates with gravel and small stones.
From the B&B it is easy to reach all the useful services in just a few minutes: about 150 m away you can find a tobacconist, 300 m away an extraordinary artisanal ice cream shop, 330 m away the pharmacy. From the B&B it is also possible to reach the Gioiosa train station and the bus stop in just 7 minutes (550 m).
There are numerous sites of interest in the area, starting with the nearby Torre del Cavallaro, from the 15th century AD.
A short distance from the anti-Saracen watchtower, about 700 m from our structure, it is also possible to visit the remains of a small Roman theater.
In Gioiosa Jonica, about 6 km away, there is the Naniglio, a Roman villa with a large underground cistern.
10 km away is the National Museum and Archaeological Park of Locri Epizephiri. Of extraordinary charm are the nearby medieval villages of Gerace, Mammola, Caulonia and Stilo.
Just 5 km away is the Porto delle Grazie in Roccella Jonica, a tourist town known for the Jazz Festival, an international event that sees world-famous artists gather.
Within a radius of about 20 km, it is possible to reach the Feudal Castle of Ardore, the Roman Villa of Casignana, the Greek Temple of Kaulon with the Museum of Monasterace.
The airports of Lamezia Terme and Reggio Calabria are about 110 km away.

Fantastic location just a few steps from the seafront and about half an hour by car from Aspromonte, beautiful and clean, with the manager always available and as a hiking guide he advised us on beautiful routes to do independently, price adequate to the conditions of the structure. Breakfast available on request, but we did not take advantage of it. Recommendation.

Very beautiful and well-kept structure, enchanting location, really close to the sea, but also convenient in terms of commercial activities. Great courtesy from the manager. Unfortunately, the holiday was very short, but we will definitely come back! A special thank you from our little girl, who was treated like a true princess.
