Welcome!
Nestled in the historic village of Maruggio, the guest house ‘Nu Suennu (A Dream) preserves the elegance with an antique taste that does not want to get lost in modern life. The building dates back to the early '700, it has been the main office of the City Hall of our small village and it has kept the architectural elements of that time, but it allowd an elegant restoration. It consists of four small apartments, all with bathroom, that can accommodate two to four people. The restricted traffic zone of the historic center offers the convenience of a peaceful, and relaxing atmosphere, with the immediate opportunity to visit the precious heritage of the Knights of Malta. Available in the B & B, formula, 'Nu Suennu is the heart of the old town of Maruggio, and is only 3 km away from the "seven colors" sea of Campomarino di Maruggio. Maruggio has been Commenda Magistrale of the Knights of Malta for over 500 years, it is located in the upper part of Salento and is in an equivalent distance to the three provinces of Salento (Taranto, Brindisi and Lecce). The golden beaches with majestic dunes, the antique village and the Mediterranean cuisine, turns Maruggio into the ideal place for any type of holiday.

I had the pleasure of staying with friends at Nu Suennu for 10 days. Cute and functional room, with air conditioning and access to a very convenient outdoor courtyard. Owners available and kind, always available even to change the cleaning day. Excellent location, in the center of Maruggio square, where you can also find some interesting local places. The only slight flaw is the breakfast at the bar in the square, with little choice and poor availability from the managers. Overall, however, everything is for the better, recommended!

The property hosting the Bed and Breakfast has the charm of Maruggio's history, the rooms are clean and pleasant, lacking additional services (water in the fridge for example) that would complete the offer. The breakfast, not bad, is served at a bar located 600 meters away, which is not really ideal.

The room is wonderful, Chiara is more than helpful... I would say she goes out of her way to make the customer feel good. The place deserves a lot. The only thing that wasn't at the top is the noise from the customers of the two restaurants below the house in high season. Otherwise, the place is a 10. Top Chiara and Top room.

I stayed with my boyfriend at Nu Suennu for 10 days, beautiful room with high ancient ceiling and air conditioning. Chiara the owner is truly fantastic, always ready to help and super kind. Located right in the old square of Maruggio, just below the B&B there are some nice little restaurants. I highly recommend it! I would go back immediately!

A beautiful historic building in the center of the beautiful square of Maruggio where everything is at hand: bars, pubs, winery, restaurant, tobacco shop, newsstand, bank. Despite everything, it is quiet and you sleep very well. The owner, Chiara, is an extremely helpful and friendly person. 2 minutes from Campomarino with a fabulous sea and offering many possibilities for evening outings. I stayed for 15 days with my family and I carry a beautiful memory with me. I return with closed eyes! Nu Suennu.

The structure is very characteristic, being an ancient building in the main square of the small town. The manager, who is a woman, is phenomenal, friendly, cordial and unique, at the same time showing great seriousness and professionalism. Overall rating 10.

We were there for the International Chalumeau Clarinet Competition, we had a good time. The room is spacious and comfortable, clean and fragrant! It overlooks a beautiful square illuminated day and night. The owner extremely kind and helpful welcomed us with sympathy! We will definitely come back.

Proprietaria gentilissima e cordiale, ottima posizione a due passi dal mare e di sera si può tranquillamente mangiare vicino spendendo il giusto. Assolutamente da provare, noi ci torneremo sicuro.

Le camere sono state ristrutturate molto bene mantenendo le caratteristiche di un tempo. Pur trovandosi in una piazzetta dove c'è un piccolo ristorantino il rumore non è molto fastidioso, si potrebbero insonorizzare le porte delle camere che danno sulla piazzetta così da non avere problemi. Peccato che la colazione non sia servita dalla struttura ma, una volta arrivati nella strepitosa pasticceria convenzionata, tutto il resto si dimentica. Grazie Chiara.

Siamo stati solo due giorni in questo B&B molto carino. In generale tutto bene, l'unica pecca è stato il frigo che faceva molto rumore (e nella nostra stanza di dimensioni piccole si sentiva parecchio) e non raffreddava per niente. Massima disponibilità del gestore. Consigliato.

B&B silenzioso, pulito e indipendente sito nel centro storico di Maruggio a 3 km dal mare. Mare splendido e lidi attrezzati. Utilissimi i consigli di Chiara per gli spostamenti serali e non solo. Ottima la colazione al bar/pasticceria in convenzione a 50 mt dal B&B, con cornetti artigianali preparati al momento. Grazie per aver trascorso dei giorni sereni.
