NEAR TO GALLIPOLI the B&B MACCHIA SALENTINA is dipped in the green in one held of 15. 000 square-meters of typical Mediterranean spot with characteristic dry-walls, tree-lined avenues and one ancient trullo.

It offers the possibility of a wonderful stay for the lovers of the sea, of the country but also of the culture and the art.

It is situated in a elevated position between the sea and the country, ideal for who loves the peace in the green without renouncing to a crystalline sea and Salento's wonders.

From B&B MACCHIA SALENTINA you can reach in little time many of the principal Salento's towns, like Gallipoli (3 km), Otranto (40 km), Santa Maria di Leuca (35 km) and the wonderful Lecce (40 km), heart of Barocco's art.

The B&B is very near Mancaversa, Lido Pizzo, to Gallipoli's beaches, where in a clear and adamantine sea you can have the best choice between sand-beaches and rock-beaches.

The building is newly made and consists of 6 independent solutions furnished with taste and accuracy.

In the B&B MACCHIA SALENTINA you will not have only a room, but you will have at your disposition mini apartments with independent entrance and is complete of bath, tv, conditioned air, a kitchen complete of appliances and frigo.

The apartments, totally integrated in the territory, are encircled by a fresh and relaxing green composed by secular olive trees, eucalyptus and pines. In the wide garden, between tree-lined avenues and e pine wood, you will find small tables at the feet of the olive trees, a solarium, a mini football field, a children area, bicycles and a wide parking space. At your disposition there is a barbecue with firewood and grill.

The B&B MACCHIA SALENTINA it is proposed therefore as the ideal place for who wants to pass holidays in absolute relax but remaining close to the sea and to well known touristic localities.

To 40 km. you can visited Lecce, baroque city, Otranto, ancient and wonderful city, santa Maria di Leuca, where adriatic sea is intercrossed with jonio sea.

Welcoming and very well-kept facility, careful cleaning and a thousand comforts that immediately won us over. Mrs. Nunzia is an excellent hostess, always available and attentive, who made us feel at home right away. Highly recommended for those with children; ours never wanted to leave the facility despite the beautiful beaches in the area. Besides the pool, there are many activities and games for both adults and children. Thanks to all this, our holidays were wonderful and we will gladly return next year.

What can I say? The 'Macchia Salentina' structure is simply sublime, with a very large and well-kept garden surrounding the rooms. There are many on-site entertainments such as the pool, beach volleyball, slide, and swings. We particularly enjoyed archery under the pine forest, truly beautiful. Our room was closer to the park, so we were accompanied by the pleasant sounds of the animals, with the goose standing out above all others. Immersed in nature, it felt like being in another world, away from the hustle and bustle of the marina and Gallipoli. At the same time, the seaside resorts are not far away and can be reached quite easily. Noteworthy is the impeccable cleanliness and frequent changing of bed and bath linens. Breakfast is served at the tables of the respective rooms, very varied and abundant. We enjoyed the typical sweets and especially the fruits grown by the owner in a strictly organic way, practically zero kilometers, because there are fruit trees and a well-kept vegetable garden on the estate. I could go on and on in a positive way, but it has already been written in other reviews. I can certainly confirm that it's all true. I hope to return.

A vacation to be repeated. Nunsia is an excellent host who makes you feel at home with every comfort available, ready to fulfill every request; after two days it seems like you've known her for a lifetime. Perfect place to visit the beautiful Salento: the sea, the sun, and the wind! Highly recommended.

We spent our holidays in this enchanting structure on the advice of our friends who had already been there. Perhaps the beautiful words we could write do not do justice to the unique features of this B&B, it is certainly much more than just a B&B. The owners are exquisite and discreet people, very much appreciated the park, the pine forest, the pool, and the meticulously maintained green spaces. Immaculately clean, tidy rooms, complete with everything, even kitchen utensils in the kitchenette in each room. Not to mention the abundant and delicious breakfast, just what you need to face a day in the beautiful sea of Salento. We will definitely come back!

Well-connected place to move towards all directions of Salento. Truly enchanting structure, very large and the green space very well-kept, very appreciated pool, comfortable studio accommodation, complete with everything and especially very clean. Varied, abundant and delicious breakfast. All made even more sublime by the owners, available, discreet, and very attentive to the needs of the guests. They have really created an oasis of relaxation that is worth knowing. Rating: 10 and praise! Highly recommended.

I stayed with my wife and children and it was an unforgettable vacation in a wonderful place, so much so that we decided to go back next summer. Generally, we never return to spend our holidays in the same place, we prefer to discover different accommodations in different locations. But in this case, we will return with great enthusiasm. Macchia Salentina has stayed in our hearts. Calling it a B&B is very reductive, very large spaces, it is practically an estate, very well-kept, complete with everything (swimming pool, beach volleyball, archery, soccer field, pine forest, farm animals, slide and swings, and much more. For children (and also for adults) it is just ideal. Not to mention the owners, lovely people, very helpful and at the same time discreet. Impeccable room cleaning, with frequent change of linens. Excellent and very rich breakfast served in the garden among all the lush vegetation. Not to forget the kitchenette for each room (much appreciated because it allowed us not to dine out every evening (and therefore save) and the parking inside the property. There would still be so much good to say, but our return next summer already explains how worthwhile it is to stay at Macchia Salentina.

We stayed for 5 nights at this beautiful and tidy B&B which is a real paradise. Although it is located in the middle of a natural environment, beautiful beaches and the little town are easily reachable. Nunzia, the owner, was very friendly always very eager to make us feel comfortable and happy. All the facilities were in perfect conditions and everything was clean and working perfectly well.
