The apartment has a light-filled living area with a kitchen and a balcony large enough to sit outside, one bedroom and a bathroom. Its simple, well-kept spaces are a place to unwind after a day at the beach, have breakfast outdoors or simply enjoy the slower pace of a holiday in Salento.
Just a short walk from the sea
One of the pleasures of staying here is being able to leave the car behind and walk to the beach.
The coast is about 500 metres away and can also be reached along a pleasant path through the residence's pine forest. The setting combines quiet and calm with the convenience of beaches, beach clubs and local amenities nearby.
A little retreat among the trees, perfect for days by the sea and peaceful evenings away from the crowds.

We have tried to make the apartment practical and comfortable, with everything you may need to feel at home and independent on holiday.

La Casa di Ale is in Campoverde, in the seaside village of San Cataldo, surrounded by a large pine forest and just a few minutes' walk from the Adriatic Sea. It is a lovely setting for a quiet holiday among the trees, away from the crowds, with beaches, beach clubs and local amenities close by.
Long known as the seaside escape of Lecce's residents, San Cataldo has a mostly low, sandy coastline and an ancient connection with the city. Here you can see the lighthouse and the remains of the old harbour built by Emperor Hadrian in the second century AD.
The location is also ideal for combining beach days with exploring Salento. Lecce, with its extraordinary Baroque old town, is about 10 km away: close enough for an evening among its squares, churches, restaurants and cafés before returning to the peace of the pine forest.
Heading north along the coast brings you to Frigole, with its sandy beaches and the Acquatina nature reserve, and then to Torre Chianca and Spiaggiabella, among dunes, clear waters and natural areas. To the south, the landscape becomes greener and leads to the Cesine Nature Reserve, one of Salento's most important wetlands.
