The refined and elegant design of the Bed & Breakfast Il Faro - Porto Cesareo, combined with the typical hospitality of Salento, will be your guide to a vacation of relaxation and comfort. The blue tones of the rooms reflect those of the sky and the wonderful sea of Punta Prosciutto, which will surround you and give you an unforgettable experience.

The B&B is located a few steps from the "Grande Faro" of Porto Cesareo, the highest point of the area, just outside the town center. The location of the property is strategic, away from city traffic and less than a kilometer from the azure sea of the area.

The name we have chosen, "Il Faro", is closely related to our philosophy of hospitality and is its symbol and meaning itself. In fact, we aim to be a reference point for you at every moment of your vacation: from welcoming you upon arrival, to recommending all the enchanting experiences that the Salento region can offer.

This sense of hospitality is reflected directly in the characteristics of the structure. We have created a comfortable environment, thinking about the convenience that we would like to offer to our guests.

The modern and bright design of the rooms reflects our sea, using objects and utensils typical of our culture in the decoration. Furthermore, the white colors blend with the blue ceramics, creating an atmosphere of relaxation and tranquility.

The rooms are organized according to the cardinal points of the structure: North, South, West, and the East dining room.

Breakfast organized at the B&b is denoted to be almost exclusively to " Km zero ". Starting from pasticciotti, typical sweet of Salento and croissants until the yogurt Bio, everything is created in the Porto Cesareo area in cool manner, controlled and genuine. The cakes are baked hot early in the morning and a good steaming cappuccino with views of the surrounding countryside is a great start to the day before enjoying the wonders of the sea.

Il faro B&b is managed by Giuseppe and Stefania on the first floor of our house. Despite our young age, we have been working in turism from different years and we decide to create a structure that would be able to accommodate our guests. Our belief is that the Kindness and Hospitality is the crucial determinant of a great holiday.

I summarize everything in two adjectives: excellent and exceptional! Wonderful furniture, cared for in the smallest details and equipped with every comfort. Giuseppe and Stefania very kind, very helpful and very friendly. The price includes sunbeds, umbrellas, and parking at the beach resort Il Faro where you can not only see a breathtaking sea but everything is organized very well and the cafeteria offers very good dishes with a wide choice. Modern, spacious, comfortable room. Bathroom with whirlpool. Superb breakfast.\n\nKind, helpful managers, attentive to our every smallest need. Excellent value for money because the daily rate included 1 beach umbrella + 2 sunbeds at Lido Teranga - Punta Prosciutto (a beautiful beach with a dreamy sea). Porto Cesareo center also reachable on foot (about 800 meters).\n\nA place to return without a doubt.

Brand new structure and well cared for in design and in the smallest details. Excellent location away from the chaos but still close to the center of Porto Cesareo, reachable even on foot. A very high vote for the manager Giuseppe for the maximum availability in welcoming and always willing to give excellent advice. And let's not forget the beach service that the structure offers included in the price in the magnificent location of Punta Prosciutto.

"Il Faro" is a new and very neat place hosted by extremely nice and helpful people (communication in English is not a problem at all). The place has a non-central location (peace & quiet), is easily accessible by car from the main road leading to Porto Cesareo, and yet is within a walking distance from the centre of Porto Cesareo. Free access to the beach Teranga Bay is another great advantage (no need to rush and worry about getting a perfect spot at the beach), even though a car is required to get to the beach.
