Description
The Bed and Breakfast "Casa Augello" is a few meters away from the new church of St. Pius and is the ideal place to spend their days in peace and quiet, as it allows you to move easily on foot to reach the main places of pilgrimage.

The structure is new building, it has double and triple rooms, or rooms adaptable to any need. They have every comfort: private bathroom, desk, TV, air conditioning. Breakfast is served in the Hall at the bar counter or seated at tables.

You may cancel your booking up to 7 days before the check-in date. In the case of failure to show or late cancellation, you will be charged for one night’s stay

Balance to be paid at check-in
For non-refundable discounted rates, when the facility requires it, the guest must pay in advance as indicated to complete the booking. Payment is not refunded in the event of a cancellation.

The Bed and Breakfast is located just a few meters from the entrance of the new church dedicated to San Pio da Pietralcina. Additionally, its location is very convenient for those who need to reach the Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza Hospital, as it can be reached on foot in a few minutes.

Regarding public transportation, we are within walking distance of one of the main bus terminals for both local and suburban buses coming from Foggia and Rome.

La signora Giulia è una persona educata e gentile. Il posto è pulito ma il servizio non comprende l'aria condizionata che va pagata a parte e la pecca è anche il televisore che non prende i programmi. Servizi che comunque vengono pagati. Per tutto il resto può andar bene.

Posto molto tranquillo, attaccato al santuario di Padre Pio, stanza confortevole e pulita, l'unica pecca è che nel bagno non c'e mobilio dove poggiare le cose personali, colazione un po scarsa nella scelta. Massima disponibilità del gestore, una Signora simpaticissima e accogliente.

Carino, vicino al Santuario, la camera comoda e spaziosa con un bel terrazzo! Unica pecca la doccia con la tenda e al mattino poco rispetto per chi vuole dormire un pò di più del previsto, causa troppo vociare di adulti e bambini.

It's really very nice place. Walking distance from the Shrine of Padre Pio. Clean, tidy and quite. If I visit San Giovanni Rotondo I would definitely choose that B&B again.

What's going for this B&B is its location to Santuario Padre Pio..it probably took 5 minutes or less. But if you're not familiar with the place, it can be confusing especially since not a lot of folks there were familiar with the place or spoke English. When you get to Via Anna Frank, turn left at the end of the street. A few houses down, it's on the right. It's not as close to Santuario Santa Maria delle Grazie or the town of SGR so it helps if you have your own car. It's also the cheapest stay of our trip. Accommodations were decent but toiletries were sparse (shampoo in sachets) and towels were more like worn-out bedsheets with ripped areas here and there. Breakfast consisted of coffee/juice, a piece of croissant and some biscuits/spreads. I don't know if they allowed refills but supply seemed limited.

Ho soggiornato con mia moglie e un'altra coppia di amici presso Casa Augello per un solo giorno. La struttura si trova a pochi metri dal Santuario. Penso che casa Augello sia ubicata nella migliore posizione possibile per raggiungere il Santuario senza utilizzare l'auto, quest'ultima la si può lasciare davanti al B&B. Le camere sono pulite, confortevoli e il luogo è veramente molto silenzioso. Devo ringraziare il proprietario in quanto ci ha accolti come se ci conoscessimo da sempre e, soprattutto, lo ringrazio per il suo prezioso consiglio. Io e i miei amici dovevamo andare a Vieste e lui ci ha consigliato di non fare la litoranea ma di attraversare la Foresta Umbra e di fare un salto a Monte Sant'Angelo. Quello che ci ha proposto è stato veramente prezioso. Io non conoscevo quei luoghi ma grazie a Michele abbiamo attraversato la meravigliosa Foresta Umbra e abbiamo visitato Il Castello di Federico II di Svevia e la Basilica di S. Michele. Se in futuro dovessi tornare a S. G. Rotondo, sicuramente andrei a soggiornare presso Casa Augello.

Ho soggiornato la notte del 17 agosto con la mia famiglia e con un'altra famiglia di amici. Devo dire che la struttura è veramente molto carina, ben tenuta e pulita. Ci siamo trovati tutti molto bene, se dovessimo tornare sarà sicuramente il nostro punto di riferimento. Grazie.

Salve ho appena soggiornato con la mia famiglia in questo bellissimo B&B, con 3 bambini, la stanza era molto grande e pulita, cornetto fresco per colazione al mattino, la posizione perfetta, fuori dalla chiesa. Il titolare molto gentile e disponibile. Che dire se ritorneremo a san giovanni rotondo di sicuro abbiamo trovato il nostro B&B perfetto!
