In the heart of Salento, just a few steps from the Ionian Sea, stands Masseria Torrevecchia.
This modern agricultural and livestock farm is surrounded by 200 hectares of green fields, olive groves, vineyards, orchards, and vegetable gardens.
The farm is proud of its significant breeding of cows, goats, sheep, pigs, small farm animals, and horses. Their products, such as milk and meat, are processed on-site, along with wines, olives, and olive oil, which can be purchased directly from the farm's dairy. There is also a hydroponic greenhouse for cut roses.
The ancient core of the farm, dating back to the 1300s, houses the agriturismo, with spacious rooms furnished with early 20th-century furniture and equipped with every comfort. The beautiful garden surrounding the structure is also home to modern rooms, also equipped with every comfort.
The agriturismo is located near a 7th-century Byzantine crypt, where magnificent frescoes can be admired. Time can be pleasantly spent at the swimming pool, tennis courts, and bocce fields, or by walking or cycling through the vineyards and olive groves. Children can enjoy the playground, while visitors can explore the sheepfold, chicken coop, and stables, where ponies, horses, and donkeys reside.
We are also a recognized educational farm by the Region and organize educational workshops (from cows to milk to cheese; from wheat to pasta to bread, etc.) for both children and adults, school groups, and organized groups.

As lovers of nature, the family that owns Agriturismo Torrevecchia has always been interested in farming, producing the quintessential products of the Salento region: wine and olive oil, and then, in the early 1980s, combined it with animal husbandry to create a well-established business spread over 200 hectares of cultivated land. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, you will be able to stroll through the vineyards, olive groves, and large pine forest, take a dip in the swimming pool, and for the joy of the little ones, experience farm life with all our animal friends. Waiting for you are horses, donkeys, ponies, hens, ducks, and, returning from the pasture, sheep, goats and cows. And for breakfast? In the morning, in the warmth of a classic Italian family, we will be happy to welcome you, exchanging, between a cappuccino made with fresh cow's milk and a slice of cheese from our dairy, advice, laughter, anecdotes and suggestions on which places to visit or experiences to live because you arrive as guests but leave as friends.

An oasis of green and peace in the heart of Salento. From here, you can quickly reach the most beautiful towns and the most picturesque beaches. The masseria, whose nucleus dates back to the 14th century, offers all comforts. The family that manages it offers kindness, advice, and directions on what to see and where to eat. Very beautiful and tranquil. The hostesses, Chiara and Manni, are wonderful. We stayed here because our family live in the nearest town, San Pancrazio. We had the freshest eggs we have ever tasted!

Everything very nice. Incredible structure, with many points of interest, from the pool to the animal breeding, from the vegetable garden to the dairy. Breakfast with all their own production, very good! Just a bit too far from the sea, and what a sea! I will definitely come back.

A quiet place equipped with all the comforts for those who want to unwind for a few days. Kindness of the staff, cleanliness of the rooms, and wonderful animals of the farm. Excellent corner dedicated to the little ones.
