SOME HISTORY ABOUT RESIDENCE
The Residence is the sympthetic restoration of the Château Royal, in Docteur Grappein street, in the town-centre, just near the church.
The building, whose original tower dates back to the eleventh century, is a listed national monument because of its historical importance.
Over the centuries the Residence has been a bishop’s palace, then home residence of the King Vittorio Emanuele II when hunting in the old hunting reserve, now Gran Paradiso National Park. At the beginning of the 19th century it became an hotel, one of the first and most prestigious in Cogne.

7 one bedroom flats (sleeping max 6 people)
1 three bedrooms flat (sleeping max 8 people).

Comfortable studio, very well-equipped kitchen, well heated. Brand new bathroom. Central location. Warm welcome from the owners. We will probably come back.

An excellent solution to spend relaxing days just a few steps from the center of Cogne and many walks. I appreciated the very comfortable bed, the garden with sun loungers for guests, the coolness of the room, and the silence.

Appartamento molto confortevole e pulito con una fantastica vista sulla cima del monte bianco.
Aggiungerei qualche utensilio in piu in cucina, es: scodelle per colazione.

Abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti in tre (noi genitori e nostra figlia). Posizione ottima, vicino al centro, silenzioso. Monumento storico molto ben ristrutturato.
Dotato di tutti i comfort. Disponibile una piacevole area esterna con tavolo e sedie sdraio.
Gestori molto gentili, disponibili e puntuali.
Il nostro appartamento monolocale esposto a nord al piano terra (non ci batte mai il sole) era un po' umido, accendendo il riscaldamento il secondo giorno è migliorato velocemente. Un po' piccolo per tre ma per 4 giorni può andar bene. Il letto matrimoniale è un divano letto non un vero letto.
Nel complesso è andata molto bene!
