Description

In the stunning scenery of the Mont Blanc Chain, in Aosta Valley, you find the BB “Le Fòo” on the La Salle hill, at 1550 m. The perfect place to enjoy a relaxing holiday in the middle of nature! The BB is hosted in a typical house, built in XVIII century. Home made kitchen and fruit and vegetables from the own orchard: quality and genuineness are assured. All the rooms are big and cocooning, private bathroom with shower and floor in wood. Parking. Rooms for disables available.

Excellent structure in a panoramic, quiet and charming location. Spacious room, clean and with all the necessary comforts, much appreciated the daily room cleaning. Very good breakfast with homemade products (0 km), no packaged products, top quality bread, butter and jam, not to mention the homemade cakes! What can I say! It's like plunging into a fairy tale, in an enchanted place, surrounded by an expanse of intense green suspended in front of a breathtakingly beautiful panorama! My partner and I had a great time at Locanda Lo Fòo. Very characteristic, in wood, clean and tidy environment, cozy room in simple mountain style with a view of the mountains. 2017-02-24 A few minutes walk away, you can enjoy a splendid panorama, with the possibility of pleasant encounters, deer, foxes. The breakfast with homemade products is really very good. The room is cozy and warm. The ski slopes are easily reachable in 20 minutes by car. Good value for money. Near the QC Thermal Baths, good. I spent 4 days in a pleasant and comfortable relaxation.

The structure is about 15 minutes away from the highway exit. Typical Aosta Valley chalet in stone and wood, with a small garden equipped with sun loungers, from which you can enjoy a magnificent view. The rooms are spacious and very clean; the breakfast room is spacious and the windows have a direct view of Mont Blanc. Buffet breakfast with homemade products (jams and cakes) and local products. Obviously, being a B&B, dinner is not provided, but if you ask the owner for advice, he will guide you to the various restaurants nearby.

The right mix of tradition and attention to detail: the environment is simple yet welcoming and well-kept. The rooms have recently been renovated: the characteristic elements are wood and iron, typical of the mountains; very much appreciated were the slippers under the radiator waiting for us when we returned from the snow. The breakfast is plentiful and all products are local (except for the oranges, of course, but the bread and cakes are homemade!). The owner is kind, albeit with a Valdostan character; being a bit mountain lovers ourselves, we felt in tune. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't the best so we couldn't do the various trekking routes or try the paragliding experience, maybe next time. Recommended!

We returned to Locanda Lo Fóo this winter with a group of friends after having already been there during a summer weekend: both experiences were wonderful. The location immersed in nature with a spectacular view of Mont Blanc and the valley below, starting point for relaxing walks, rich breakfast with typical products but above all the hospitality of the Henriod family makes you feel truly at home. We will be back soon and will recommend it to other friends/couples.

At Locanda Lo Fòo we spent three wonderful days. For those who love living in the mountains, peace, and tranquility in a genuine and simple way, it is a truly special place: an ancient house renovated and managed in harmony with the surrounding nature. The location is perfect: beautiful trails start directly from the house without the need to take the car, the valley is sunny and not spoiled by mass tourism. The hosts are kind, helpful, and very welcoming. The breakfast is unforgettable: all very fresh and self-produced products. We will recommend it to all our friends.

Beautiful structure, well maintained in a location that can be a bit difficult to reach at certain times of the year with abundant snowfall. Great view from above on the valley floor and on Mont Blanc behind. The breakfast was really good, with genuine and fresh products. The rooms are spacious, with characteristic wooden floors. A good solution for short or long stays in the area. We stayed in a quadruple room with the aim of reaching the thermal baths of Pre Saint Didier.
