Description

Our apartment is located in a small mountain village at 1800m above sea level in the Saint Berthelemy Valley, a few steps from the planetarium and astronomical observatory of Lignan and the 30 km cross-country ring of the Gran Tor.

Located in a quiet position from which you can enjoy a splendid panoramic view of the Graian Alps.

The apartment, completely renovated this year, is equipped with only eco-green electricity for both heating (included in the fee) and cooking, having completely removed gas. For ecological choice the temperature inside the house will be maximum 20 degrees. During summer heating system Is off, every start requested will be charged of 10 euros per day
It has a size of approximately 70 m2 consisting of an entrance hall that leads to the large lounge/dining area and the "reading" corner from whose door window leads to a delightful balcony equipped with a wooden table for lunches with a panoramic view. Small kitchen equipped with all appliances including induction hob, oven and dishwasher.

A hallway leads to the bathroom with shower and suspended bathroom fixtures.

The double bedroom is equipped with a chest of drawers, bedside tables and a wardrobe with mirror.

The apartment can accommodate up to 4 guests thanks to a very comfortable sofa bed with an 18cm mattress in the living area.

You will be welcomed and assisted by Sandro and Anna who have also made Venoz their home.

With an innate passion for the mountains, when we met, in perfect agreement we looked for a corner of peace where we could take refuge from the chaotic life of an airport job made up of shifts. When we arrived in this valley and parked the car at the end of the road that cuts through the village of Venoz, the view that greeted us was so breathtaking that we would have agreed to buy even a barn.

Since 2018 we have been hiding up here and this year we have taken up residence to start a new life, made up of "little" things but which are all what is necessary to refresh the soul and mind.

Lovers of walking to discover heavenly places in contact with true, still uncontaminated nature, assiduous readers, theater lovers.

Wonderful house in a charming location. Venoz is a small hamlet with a few houses and absolute tranquility. The house was recently renovated and is equipped with everything you need. Comfortable kitchen and bathroom, spacious living room with sofa and TV, roomy bedroom. Inside the house everything is new and very well maintained. There is a nice balcony from which you can enjoy a fantastic view. It is the ideal place if you want to spend time relaxing. Anna and Sandro are kind and helpful. I absolutely recommend it.

The apartment is delightful: perfectly renovated in an ancient, very small village, tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort. The relationship with the hosts was excellent: cordial, helpful and efficient. The view is stunning, with the valley opening in front of the balcony and a crown of mountains in the background. Great location: centrally located relative to the small village below, Lignan, and to the trails for hikes and excursions. We are at about 1800 metres above sea level and the quality of this valley is its tranquility, almost "hermit-like": a small earthly paradise that retains its charm even during the busiest tourist periods.

Just structured, this accommodation is really very welcoming, warm, spacious and especially very clean. Ideal for a vacation where you want to relax and not think about anything. Just 5 minutes by car you reach the parking lot. There are multiple loops, up to 30 km of cross-country ski trails always well-groomed and with a breathtaking view. There are also always warm changing rooms at the parking lot where you can change and store your things in the lockers. I will definitely return next winter (weather permitting).

Delightful apartment in a super quiet village, ideal for those who want to unwind. The welcome from Sandro and Anna was the best we could have hoped for. The courtesy of the owners living a few tens of meters away was exemplary and the communication with them was more than punctual. Nearby, it is possible to buy dairy products and cheeses from a 24-hour open distributor managed by the owner of a nearby alpine pasture.
