Description
The spaces have been restored with respect and care for the history of the place. The old barn has been transformed into a cozy breakfast room, while the former feeding troughs have become the structure for the beds. The original woods, expertly crafted, and the exposed stone evoke tradition, making every corner authentic and inviting. All rooms feature independent entrances, ensuring privacy and freedom of movement, allowing for self check-in and check-out. Each morning, breakfast is placed at the door, offering guests a slow and private awakening.
Environmental awareness is an integral part of the hospitality: soaps and breakfasts are locally sourced, linens are washed on-site with eco-friendly detergents, and the entire facility is equipped with low-impact energy systems. This commitment has been recognized with the quality mark of the Mont Avic Park, reflecting a sustainable philosophy that also engages guests during their stay.
The terraced gardens showcase the changing seasons, from the first snowdrops to spring dandelions, through the lush greenery of summer and the warm autumn hues, when spiky chestnut shells open among the leaves. In winter, the quiet snow transforms the landscape into a muffled painting. Here, among loungers, armchairs, and small tables, guests can surrender to the silence of nature, read, work, or simply listen to the voice of the chestnut trees, the true guardians of this corner of the world.

Breakfast
For breakfast, we offer several options:
- If you struggle to wake up in the morning and prefer a slow start, our breakfast box is perfect for you. Starting at 8:15 AM, you'll find a picnic basket placed outside your room. Inside, there's a selection of local and homemade products, along with a thermos of milk, another of coffee brewed with a moka pot, and a regional juice. You can choose between a sweet breakfast (cake, cookies, brioche, yogurt, and jams) or a savory one (cold cuts, cheeses, eggs or quiche, yogurt, and cereals), depending on your preferences. The advantage of this option is that you can enjoy your breakfast comfortably in your room, in the breakfast area, or in the garden, taking in the stunning scenery.. still in your pajamas!
- On the other hand, if you're full of energy and can't wait to kick off the day by planning your adventures "at the table," we recommend booking the buffet breakfast at Moulin des Aravis. Here, you'll find a generous buffet with homemade cakes and cookies, fresh fruit from our fields, a selection of jams made by our chef Piera, brioche, cheeses, and cold cuts. It’s a fantastic way to start your day leisurely, giving yourself time for seconds at the buffet while chatting and admiring the Ayasse stream as you plan your activities. All of this takes place in a charming mill dating back to the 1600s.
Hey from Alessia
I firmly believe that I live in a charming place, abundant in natural beauty and cultural traditions. The connection our ancestors had with this land carries a mysterious allure, demanding daily commitment, dedication, passion, and respect.
For these reasons, I have decided to take charge of the chambres d’hôtes Li Tzatagni, a place that embodies all the values I hold dear, beautifully restored by the owners Elena and Luca. I do not forget my roots: the agriturismo remains a cornerstone for me, and I would be delighted to welcome you there if you wish to meet me, gather information, or enjoy “an experience at the Moulin.”
My presence is at the agriturismo, while for Li Tzatagni, I have chosen a management style that emphasizes discretion and independence, providing autonomy and relaxation.. just the way I like it: a personalized stay.
Conditions
Area countryside
The inhabited areas are surrounded by chestnut forests and consist of traditional alpine-style buildings. As you stroll through the village, you'll encounter beautiful and daring stone bridges, along with stone and wooden structures that have maintained their original appearance.
The key themes here are tranquility and authenticity: the Champorcher valley is one of the least developed areas in the region, still featuring completely unspoiled environments, wild trails, alpine pastures, and peaceful grazing lands. Just 7 km from the village lies the Mont Avic Park, known for its lakes and breathtaking views.
Additionally, 10 km away is the Forte di Bard, an important museum hub that overlooks the ancient village, rich in history and charming little shops waiting to be explored.
