Description

Located in the center of the old village, the B&B consists of two rooms, both with private bathrooms with shower stalls.

The first room is a double with an en-suite bathroom and a balcony, with the possibility of an additional bed.

The other room is a quadruple, consisting of two communicating rooms: the first is a double and the second has two single beds that can be joined upon request of the client. In case only the first room is used by a couple or single guest, the other room will remain empty. This room is suitable for people with mobility problems, as it is located on the ground floor and has no steps. Unfortunately, this room does not have a view from the window as it faces a narrow street in the village.

A practical camping cot is available for small clients free of charge.

Free WIFI is available.

We are just one minute away from the highway exit (NUS exit).

The kitchen is shared between the two rooms and is only used for breakfast. Cooking is not possible, but guests can have dinner with a pizza or a snack, heating up some pre-cooked dishes with the practical microwave oven provided.

Within walking distance of the B&B, there are: bars, pubs, pharmacies, ATMs, newsstands, grocery stores, agritourism farms, restaurants, pizzerias, wellness centers, pastry shops, hairdressers, beauticians, veterinary clinics, etc.

The B&B premises are independent of the family.

We have an agreement with the Pre-Saint-Didier Spa and with "Rafting Republic".

I'm sorry, but due to too much damage, we do not accept pets.

You will find us in Nus, a town located in the center of the Aosta Valley, from which you can easily reach any location.

Very close to the cable car for Pila (15 minutes away).

At 16 kilometers, you can find Saint Barthélemy, famous for the astronomical observatory and the magnificent cross-country ski trail called "Gran Tor".

In addition, we are one minute away from the famous Fénis Castle.

Just a few steps from the B&B, you will find a pharmacy, ATM, newsstand, beauty center, hairdresser, grocery store, farmhouse, restaurant-pizzeria, etc.

Excellent location: central for visiting the region. The room and private bathroom are not luxurious, but they are well furnished, comfortable and spotless. We stayed with my family (two adults and two children) at this property as an ideal place to reach the ski facilities in the area but also to attend a show at the Astronomical Observatory and visit local museums. The choice proved to be successful, not only for the convenience in reaching the various destinations but also for the splendid welcome of Mrs. Lidia. She provided us with useful information, showed great care towards us (even providing a bed rail for our 4-year-old daughter). I suggest this very simple but complete solution for anyone who wants to spend a few days in Nus and surroundings.

The stay at the B&B "L'Antico Borgo", although short (3 nights), was very pleasant. The structure is simple but perfectly functional. The location is strategic to reach many places in the Aosta Valley, especially Aosta just 15 minutes by car (but also reachable by train) and Fénis, 1 km away. The village of Nus has all the essential services. Lastly, but not least in importance, the discretion, courtesy, and availability of Mrs. Lidia, who also takes care of guest reception and daily cleaning.

Simple but very clean structure, located in the center of the village of Nus, convenient to restaurants and services (bakery, bar, small shops, bank, small supermarket). Close to Aosta and Pila, reachable by public transport. Convenient and spacious parking. Our room was very large. The breakfast served in the small kitchen was excellent. The added value is the very kind Mrs. Lidia, who can give you many suggestions on what to do and is available like few others. As my daughter said, unfortunately we stopped for a short time! Cozy place in every sense, just like the kindness of Mrs. Lidia. It was like visiting an aunt we hadn't seen for a long time. I am a pilgrim who arrived after a heavy rain, I was a wet rag. It was heartening to see Mrs. Lidia at the entrance of the bed & breakfast, she had been worried about me, I often walk alone and when I arrive tired at the end of the stage, it's nice to feel comforted and find a clean and welcoming place as if I were at home! I stayed at L'Antico Borgo with my partner and our daughter for 3 nights. The room with balcony and bathroom is clean, tidy, and fragrant! The lady welcomed us very well and always discreetly, providing us with directions and suggestions for our trip to Valle d'Aosta. The B&B's location is excellent both for car parking and as a starting point for excursions and tours in the region. The breakfast is varied and abundant (very abundant!). I personally thank the owner who, knowing I am vegan, was very kind in preparing a fantastic cake and puddings for me, and providing me with plant-based milk and sweets! Excellent value for money! We will definitely know where to stay for our next trips to Valle d'Aosta! Thank you!

The location is strategic. It is indeed a few kilometers from Aosta and from here you can easily reach the main tourist attractions of Valle d'Aosta. Moreover, it is very close to the highway exit. The breakfast is abundant and genuine, the hosts are friendly, helpful but discreet. The fact that it is a Bed & Breakfast does not stand out too much, just take a few steps (really two) and you are immediately at dinner. In front there is a farmhouse, a little further away a pizzeria and a little further on a wonderful hotel restaurant where you can enjoy Valdostan cuisine very well done, in addition to the magnificent Grolla. Highly recommended.

Lidia, the owner of the B&B, is a very nice woman. The room was clean and the kitchen has all the facilities you will need. We slept in the back room from the entrance, a very quiet place with a view of the mountains. Lidia advised us about places to visit and see in the area. There are plenty of information leaflets in the kitchen about the area. The breakfast was also good with tasty homemade cakes that Lidia prepared. Thank you, Lidia, for your hospitality, I hope to be there again.

The environment is clean, comfortable and family-friendly. Mrs. Lidia is particularly kind and helpful, as well as being very good at making cakes and cookies. We were four people, including two children, and we found it very nice to have two communicating rooms. The children had a lot of fun in their little room. A place to keep in mind for future occasions. Best regards.

The structure is very welcoming in the center of Nus. Strategic location, as in about an hour, or a little more, you can reach any point in the Aosta Valley. The village has everything you could need. L'Antico Borgo was the B&B where I felt the most comfortable (and I have visited several). Mrs. Lidia is phenomenal and extremely available to provide excellent advice on places to visit, not to mention the excellent breakfasts. If I return to the Aosta Valley, I do not need to look for other places. The rooms are very clean.

I have been to the B&B on several occasions, one or two times a year, since its opening, which took place about six years ago. The comparison with other B&Bs I have tried does not hold, in the sense that I have always felt at ease here, almost as if I were truly at home. The rooms in both mini-apartments and the kitchen are lovely, well-kept, clean. Lidia (the manager) has always been kind during the years I have visited, her presence is discreet but attentive to requests and available for advice, as well as being a pleasant conversationalist. The breakfasts are always abundant and with a wide choice, not just a simple cappuccino with milk and a small croissant. The prices are reasonable, especially when compared to the average of other B&Bs I have visited. The only reason I would recommend against the structure is the fact that by advertising it, I will find it less and less available! I assure you that I am not a relative and that I do not receive any compensation for this super-positive review. As a vintage advertisement from the '80s said, 'try it to believe it.'

This is now the third time we have stayed at L'Antico Borgo and it certainly will not be the last. The B&B has only two rooms, which we have had the fortune to try both in our three stays: the rooms are cozy and take the names of two flowers: Mysotis and Coquelicot, flowers that are respectively blue and orange, just like the two rooms. The cleanliness is impeccable, the rooms are welcoming, well heated in winter but cool in summer, and in each room we also find a small kettle to enjoy a herbal tea or a cup of tea at any time of the day, provided in the kitchen and in the room. The breakfasts are exceptional: milk, coffee, tea, chocolate, toasted bread, Nutella, jam, cereals, fresh brioche, yogurt, fruit juices and the superlative cakes prepared by Mrs. Lidia. In this small B&B we found a true corner of paradise, as well as a friendly, sunny, very kind lady, always smiling, ready to meet every customer's need and to provide information about the many localities and festivals in this wonderful region of Aosta Valley. The smiles and chats with Mrs. Dovis make you feel at home, like family. Nus is, moreover, a small village but equipped with all the main shops such as a bar, agriturismo (exceptional and right in front of the B&B), pizzeria, restaurant, post office, pharmacy, etc., easily reachable by train and very close to Aosta and the Fenis castle. The quality-price ratio of the B&B is more than excellent! In short, we highly recommend everyone to stay at least once with Mrs. Lidia, and we say at least once because the subsequent ones will inevitably follow. It is a pleasure every time to return to L'Antico Borgo and be greeted by the smile of Mrs. Lidia. We feel at home here at L'Antico Borgo.
