Chambres d'Hotes Rue Saint Bernard

The Chambres d'H?tes Rue Saint Bernard, is a small guest house with four rooms, located in the beautiful Rh?mes Valley, on the border of the "Gran Paradiso National Park", located in the small village of Proussaz, municipality of Rh?mes-Saint-Georges, at 1464 m. altitude, immersed in an unspoilt natural environment.

For the name we were inspired by the Patron of the village of Proussaz, which is in fact Saint Bernard, to which are dedicated the Chapel and the main street of the village.

In the area you can admire wild animals in their natural habitat. Chamois and ibex are used to approach the towns in search of fresh grass during the middle seasons. The Bearded vulture shows off by flying undisturbed over the skies of the Rh?mes Valley, where it has nested. Marmots, foxes and squirrels represent cute presences loved by children. Characteristic, but difficult to see, is the wolf, which for years has colonized our woods.

In the territory it is possible to take exciting walks of different levels of difficulty, suitable for both sports and family. Going up the valley to the capital, there is a ski area consisting of several slopes for snowboarding and alpine skiing, a ski lift and a Nordic ski slope for a total of 15 km, there is also a beautiful snow-park.

The Affittacamere consists of two adjacent buildings, the result of successful renovations of historic buildings, one of 2009, houses the four rooms with bathrooms, furnished in mountain style and equipped with every comfort, the other is very recent, in fact since December 2022, we are happy to accommodate you in our new room for a healthy and rich breakfast.

True to the principle that characterizes us, quality in simplicity, we choose raw materials with care, privileging those of the territory, in order to enhance as much as possible local excellence. We offer a varied breakfast, with sweet and savory dishes, in harmony with the season.

The service is partly served at the table and partly at the Buffet, to allow each guest to compose their own breakfast as desired.

The Affittacamere Rue Saint Bernard is embellished by a characteristic rock garden with lawn, much loved and cared for by the whole family.

Where, among pretty corners full of flowers, you can relax in the shade of the trees or sunbathe lulled by the murmur of the river that flows lower.

From the garden you can enjoy a wonderful view of the mountain.

We also have a terrace with tables and chairs where you can work or study in peace, thanks to the Wi-Fi that covers the entire area outside the structure.

Chairs and tables, deck chairs and sun loungers are available to all.
