Description

The brand new Chalet Monterosa bed and breakfast was inaugurated in 2021. It is a cozy and comfortable place, located in one of the sunniest areas of the town of Gressoney. From the breakfast room you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the valley to the south, and in particular of the Weissmatten slope and the Savoy castle.

The Chalet is located less than 1 km from the historic center of Gressoney Saint Jean and is easily reachable on foot or by bike along the picturesque "strada Lombarda" path that runs along the left bank of the valley. Alternatively, you can use the bus stop, which is less than 5 minutes walk away. Timetables are available on the vitagroup.it website (Pont St. Martin - Gressoney Line).

During the winter season, a free shuttle service is available to reach the ski lifts of Gressoney St Jean (Weismatten), Gressoney la Trinitè and Staffal.

The chalet has 4 rooms, all with private access to the green area (east) or the terrace (west). The rooms are comfortable and equipped with satellite TV, wireless FWA internet connection and large bathrooms with very spacious shower areas. The furnishings are modern, but with some rustic touches, and the comfort of the beds has been particularly cared for to ensure optimal rest.

You can enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast in our main south-facing room, where you can admire a breathtaking view of our mountains as soon as you wake up! Here, you can savor traditional Italian dishes, including croissants and cappuccinos, or request heartier dishes like toast and eggs.

Additionally, our guests can enjoy a vending machine for hot beverages, such as coffee, cappuccino, latte macchiato, hot chocolate, and American coffee, as well as a wide selection of teas throughout the day.

Our Chalet is designed to make you feel at home: the breakfast room can also be used as a living/dining room for a group of friends who can divide the rooms as they please. The large common area is available throughout the day for moments of relaxation, smart working, and convivial moments.

The Chalet Monterosa is new, welcoming, beautiful, clean, and functional. The rooms are modern but with a touch of tradition (see the cedar wood shelves that fill the rooms with the scent of live wood). The owners are welcoming, friendly, and kind. The breakfast is delicious: juices, herbal teas, and various types of crunkies, all of excellent quality. The common room has a large window that offers an open view of the valley. Truly a beautiful chalet.

My wife and I stayed for two nights in this delightful Chalet Monterosa with a spectacular view of the valley. Our room was simple, but very comfortable, with a modern and very pleasant bathroom equipped with all comforts (even bathrobes that are often not found in hotels of a much higher standard). A nice terrace, with sun until the early afternoon, is available to guests. Parking for cars. Micol is a good and friendly host who puts great effort into making her guests feel good. We had a great time! If we return to Gressoney, we will definitely book again in this very pleasant Bed and Breakfast.

B&B really very nice, brand new, designed with great attention to details and the materials used, from the wood for the furnishings, to the bathroom textiles. Micol is very nice and super helpful, she makes you feel at home right away. Breakfast good but in my opinion not up to the other services of the structure, with too many packaged and mass-produced products. Overall, however, a great accommodation!

Highly recommended! Guests arrive, leave as friends. We stumbled upon the Chalet Monterosa proposal on bed and breakfast, we really liked the photos and consequently chose the location for our vacation, Gressoney. The reality was even better than the pictures! Micol's welcome makes you feel immediately comfortable. The room is spotless, large, welcoming, warm, and fragrant. The breakfast room is cozy and conveys that typical warmth of mountain chalets but with a modern embrace. The breakfast is amazing and be careful when biting into the croissants, the filling is great! 😋 In short, it was just a weekend but we will return and definitely recommend it! Micol is an excellent host.

Great Bed and Breakfast, new and well-furnished structure, close to the center and Piazzale Weismatten. Varied and plentiful breakfast. Excellent host's welcome and tips for walks. If I have the opportunity, I will gladly return.
