Description

The B&B Clapeon is the result of a careful restoration of an ancient residence dating back to 1789, which was revitalized at the end of 2009. It now serves as a cozy retreat nestled in the lush hills of Saint-Vincent, situated at an elevation of about 700 meters. This location offers tranquility, fresh air, and a delightful sense of seclusion while still being conveniently located for exploring the surrounding area.

The establishment features three rooms and three one-bedroom apartments, each with its own private entrance, bathroom, and Wi-Fi access. The bright and well-maintained spaces are designed to accommodate couples, families, and small groups. The rooms range from intimate settings for two to larger accommodations for up to five guests, while the apartments provide even more spacious options, perfect for longer stays or group travel. Cribs for infants are available upon request.

Outside, there is a convenient private parking area that can accommodate approximately eight to ten vehicles. Guests can also enjoy a communal breakfast room equipped with a refrigerator and electric cooking plates for light meal preparations, ideal for special needs such as warming baby bottles or making an evening herbal tea.

Enhancing the experience is a green area with Wi-Fi coverage, featuring a covered structure of about fifty square meters, equipped with gas and a wood grill, perfect for social gatherings outdoors. Saint-Vincent is situated in a prime location in the heart of the Aosta Valley, making it an ideal base for exploring the entire region with short and scenic trips. In about half an hour, you can reach many of the most beautiful valleys, each with its own unique character featuring trails, alpine villages, stunning views, and opportunities for hiking in every season.

From here, it's easy to get to Valtournenche and Cervinia in just a few minutes, as well as the Ayas Valley, which is perfect for those who love authentic mountain experiences and open landscapes. Slightly further away, yet still easily accessible, are the Gressoney Valley, the picturesque Cogne Valley, the Gran San Bernardo Valley, and the lush Champorcher Valley. The most famous ski resorts are also within reach, such as Pila, which can be reached in under thirty minutes, or the Colle di Joux, ideal for walking and outdoor activities.

The area also allows for the discovery of some of the region's iconic sites, such as the Forte di Bard, a true masterpiece of military architecture, or the Pré-Saint-Didier Spa, perfect for a day of pure relaxation. Aosta Airport is located nearby, making arrivals and departures convenient.

Saint-Vincent is also known as a spa town and a stylish holiday destination. During the stay, cleaning and tidying of the room were never carried out. The breakfast was poor, not continental, and at a time incompatible with the sports needs of those who want to do sports. Upon payment, it was only in cash and without issuing any receipt.

We stayed at this property for two nights, a quiet place suitable for getting away from it all. However, some things could be improved, at least a bar of soap could have been there in the bathroom, the towels for the shower are for the face, the windows without curtains (not for the light but for a bit of privacy). As for breakfast, there was no choice.

Unfortunately, I can't give more stars but it deserves more than ten in everything. I spent three wonderful days with my family, a charming place, for those looking for tranquility this is the right place. Piero, the owner, is very friendly, the room is spacious and spotless, the cakes made by the owner are delicious... we couldn't have found better. We will definitely return soon.

The B&B Clapeon is located in a very quiet hamlet of Saint Vincent and in a beautiful position. The structure has a large and beautiful garden and open spaces outside that are definitely a plus for those who come in the summer. The room we stayed in was beautiful and well-kept. To improve the lighting, it was a bit dark and there was only one of the two bedside lamps for the double bed. Minimal equipment, there was not even a bit of soap, but overall an excellent accommodation. For breakfast, we ate delicious homemade cakes, milk, tea, and coffee. Also, a great starting point for trips in Val d'Ayas, but to leave early, keep in mind that breakfast is served only from 8:30 to 9:30. They only accept cash, which, from my point of view, does not simplify payments.

Very beautiful and characteristic structure, just what you expect from a B&B. The room was very nice, but also quite warm. The special large windows offer a splendid view of the valley. The problem is that they let in a lot of light at 6 in the morning, we were already awake. It would be advisable to consider putting up a curtain.

Excellent location, ideal position for those who want to enjoy a quiet weekend in the name of silence and relaxation. Close to the ski slopes. The room was clean but there were no complimentary bathroom products. The breakfast was very poor and not very varied. The manager did not make us feel comfortable, especially during breakfast; in fact, you couldn't take what you wanted, but you had to ask... in essence, a slice of cake each and a coffee. For us, breakfast lovers, it was disappointing especially because in those places you expect tasty typical products.

The B&B is located on the hill of Saint Vincent and enjoys a spectacular view of the valley. The center of Saint Vincent is less than five minutes drive from the B&B. I discovered this B&B by chance looking for accommodation not only for myself, but also for my big dog. I have been skiing in Val d'Aosta for years, I have tried several B&Bs and hotels both in Aosta and surrounding areas, but Clapeon will remain my reference point in the future. Convenient both for skiing in Valtournenche and Cervinia, as well as for other locations, comfortable and clean rooms, beautiful view of the valley and land around the house, very friendly and helpful Piero (the owner). What can I say, it was a wonderful discovery B&B Clapeon, highly recommended to everyone, couples, families, and singles, both in winter for skiers and non-skiers, as well as in other times of the year to appreciate Val d'Aosta with a top reference point.

Well, what can I say, if you are looking for relaxation, excursions, fishing, skiing, etc. this is the right place. It is located in the center of the Aosta Valley and you can reach all the valleys of the region in 30-40 minutes. The structure is magnificent, immersed in greenery, meticulously maintained, and affordable. The manager Piero is an exquisite person always available and will advise you on which places to visit based on your needs. Whatever you ask him, he is always there. I will definitely come back and I can tell you that it is definitely the most beautiful B&B I have ever been to.

I stumbled upon this B&B Clapeon by chance, looking for a quiet and convenient place to reach the entire valley and I fell in love with it! The place is beautiful, a 2-unit house tastefully renovated, completely in stone (left visible even inside) overlooking Saint Vincent (very suggestive at sunset and at night), also equipped with a large garden with barbecue and wifi coverage. From the first phone contact with Piero, the manager, I was served excellent treatment! Experienced in the valley, he will guide you towards itineraries suitable for any need and ability. From my past experiences, I believe it would be difficult to find better. Only Piero bends over backwards to please you! The best! I thank the staff at B&B Clapeon and say goodbye to them with a see you soon.

We discovered this B&B 3 years ago and since then our holidays in Valle d'Aosta always include a stay at B&B Clapeon. So much so that if the B&B is closed for holidays in Valle we don't go there, we change destination instead! What makes this Bed and Breakfast unique is not only the typical Valdostan structure taken care of in the smallest detail, the magnificent panorama over the central valley, the convenience of the place to reach any valley. But it is above all them: Piero, the mind and driving force of the B&B, always welcomes you with a big smile and every day gives advice on where to go, what to eat, what to visit and Irma who surprises you every morning with her delicious and irresistible cakes! Impossible not to feel at home!

Great structure, position with a beautiful view. With the GPS coordinates, I arrived without problems. Friendly manager and knowledgeable about the area, so ideal for asking for advice on places, where to go, etc. Very chatty. Good breakfast with excellent cakes prepared by the wife who is seen little, but is appreciated. Overall a very positive evaluation. Bye.

We have been customers for years of this wonderful farmhouse, I think I have visited it in all seasons and I wouldn't know which one to recommend! The farmhouse is immersed in greenery and offers a breathtaking panorama, moreover, it is in a strategic position that allows you to quickly reach the different valleys, a few minutes from the structure there are the recently renovated Terme di Saint Vincent and not far away the Terme di Pre Saint Didier. Furthermore, several times, crossing Monte Bianco, we spent the day in Chamonix among characteristic shops and places always full of young people. The accommodations, in rustic style, are all very well cared for in detail, clean, and offer many possibilities for a stay, and from this year that the family has expanded, I can say that it is also very suitable for children! The owners, super welcoming people, create a family atmosphere, Piero is very helpful in giving tips and advice on trips, excursions, and what can be seen, Irma prepares a super breakfast every morning offering a choice of different types of strictly homemade cakes. Also very convenient is the large portico that allows you to organize dinner thanks also to the use of the barbecue available. What else to say? You just have to try it!

The B&B Clapeon is surrounded by greenery with a very beautiful and suggestive view of the valley. Ideal for a relaxing holiday for couples, but also suitable for families. The location of the property allows you to reach the different valleys of the Aosta Valley in a short time and it is possible to see beautiful places every day. The breakfast is rich and genuine, the cakes are delicious, homemade and different every day. The rooms are very spacious with all the comforts, clean, well-maintained with independent entrance. The entire B&B is covered by wifi and there is reserved parking for the property. In short, a very positive judgment for a property that really takes care of its guests' stay. Absolutely worth trying!

Not only is the B&B Clapeon very good, but the welcome is excellent as well. It's a welcoming that meets everyone's expectations. Piero provides great advice for visits and hikes in the region. The raspberry jams are very good. The B&B overlooks the Aosta Valley, above St Vincent, even though the climb is steep, it is easy to access. I recommend it 100%.
