Description

Located on the road to La Salle Hill, this scenic route offers breathtaking views of Mont Blanc, glimpses of the Dora river, and access to numerous hiking trails and high paths.

The house, just a stone's throw away from Chatelard Tower, is surrounded by a forest and a terraced garden that can be accessed from both the bedroom and the living room. It is a passive house that produces as much energy as it consumes, using solar and geothermal power for heating, lighting, and air conditioning.

All guests are involved in the ecological management. Animals are welcome and often entrusted to our care. There are three rooms, each with a French door leading to a terrace or the garden, and each with its own bathroom. Breakfast, drinks, and coffee are served in the living room. On the ground floor, there is a cellar-kitchen available for dinners.

I stayed with my partner and our two dogs Momy and Nena. Saying that I felt at home would be an understatement. Paola is an excellent host, always available and attentive to everyone's needs, especially the furry ones! She took care of our dogs with pleasure on Saturday, taking them for a walk and feeding them, while we were at the Pres Saint Didier thermal baths (very close to the b&b)... we couldn't have found a better accommodation. Additionally, Paola recommended places to visit just a few minutes away by car. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a few days in total relaxation. There is no set time for breakfast, the breakfast room is always available at any time. You can also enjoy a hot chocolate or a warm herbal tea with a slice of tart or Val d'Aosta apples in the afternoon.

From the first day, we understood that Paola was an excellent host: loving, discreet, and attentive to our needs. Even before arriving at the Artemisia property, she had sent us numerous tips on walks to do with our little one and places to eat. The stay was very pleasant, the rooms equipped with every comfort and well furnished. Thank you for everything, Paola! Chiara already misses the games with which you entertained her every morning. We stayed at this delightful property for a weekend with our child and another family, we were greeted by a special hostess, welcoming, helpful, who pampered us the whole time. The house is very beautiful and comfortable, the view breathtaking, and the green philosophy that animates it is admirable. A very pleasant stay and highly recommended!

Charming place, immersed in nature, with a view of the mountains, so imposing and majestic! In this accommodation, you feel at home, in the true sense of the word, we went with our big dog who was welcomed in a special way by Paola, the owner of the property. What can I say, a unique experience for both us and our Saint Bernard, we were pampered from our arrival until departure! We also socialized with other guests who had dogs and really created a nice group/pack! Thank you for everything Paola and see you soon!

Very nice B&B, quiet, well-kept, and really very clean! Friendly and laid-back hosts, they recommended some local affiliated restaurants. Passive house, recently renovated, with a breathtaking view. Positive note, dogs allowed and welcome! There is a garden right in front of the room, and if you notify in advance, they will reserve the room with direct access to the garden! We will definitely come back, and the quality-price ratio is unbeatable for the area! Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Artemisia B&B for 3 days, bringing our cat with us, and we all had a great time. Paola, the owner, is very helpful and always available to give advice on itineraries or customize breakfast according to guests' needs. The house is in a beautiful location, the room was super bright with a beautiful view of the mountains. Comfortable beds, warm and clean room. Highly recommended!

Very nice place, on the hill of La Salle, a strategic point for many excursions, a few km from the Pré-Saint-Didier Thermal Baths, from the Val Ferret and Val Veny. I stayed at this Bed and Breakfast the last week of August, with my husband, my daughter, and our dog. Cozy, new, and very clean room and bathroom. The breakfast room was much appreciated, always available for a coffee or a herbal tea. We were welcomed by the wonderful host Paola who pampered all of us, including our furry friend, for all 5 days of our stay. We highly recommend staying at this Bed and Breakfast, you will find tranquility and a very special welcome. We will be back.

We stayed at Artemisia for about ten days with our little dog Mira and what can I say, it was splendid! The location is strategic and allows you to reach different starting points for numerous excursions, the structure is furnished with a very personal taste but always with an eye for functionality, but above all Paola's hospitality and care for her guests, even the four-legged ones, are unmatched. We were pampered at all times and also well advised on places to visit and restaurants. Many reviews emphasize the fact that at Artemisia you really feel at home, we can only confirm that. We are already planning the next trip!

I stayed at the bed and breakfast Artemisia for a week with my boyfriend. The location is excellent for reaching any place quickly. Nearby there are all the essential services, but at the same time, you are immersed in nature (our room had a direct connection to the forest behind the house). Paola is very kind and always available for any request or advice. We can't wait to return in winter to relive the house once it is immersed in the snow.

B&B recently renovated using green technologies and criteria, rooms furnished with personalized taste and everything clean and sanitized according to anti-Covid regulations. The structure is located 2 minutes from the center of La Salle where there are restaurants, bars, and everything needed for basic needs. The property has a private parking. Mrs. Paola is kind, helpful, skilled, and always available for any need, request, or advice. The breakfast is abundant both sweet and savory, so excellent. Recommended for families, couples, and singles.

Wonderful experience! The Artemisia property is perfectly clean, sanitized, welcoming, and tastefully furnished, all surrounded by essential sustainability. The sweetness, kindness, and availability of Paola won us over right away! A lover of animals, she made our German Shepherd Bach feel at home. Furthermore, she helped us find interesting places to visit, eat, and go. Our clean and spacious room is perfectly suitable for dogs, with direct access to the forest. Breakfast with fresh pastries every morning! We will definitely return!

The house is very cozy with an artistic touch by Paola and overlooks the forest on one side. I really appreciated the terrace with a view of the valley: a rare place for relaxation and meditation! The passive house has some specific needs that help to be more environmentally friendly. Paola is kind, friendly, and gave us valuable advice for our days in Val D'Aosta.

Artemisia is a warm and welcoming structure built according to bio-construction criteria. I recommend it to everyone, but especially to those who have four-legged friends with them. It is a new but above all passive structure with Photovoltaic System and Solar Thermal panels therefore (ecological) for the respect of the environment! Located in a strategic position near the thermal baths of Pré Saint-Didier and Courmayeur. Near the round tower of Chatelard and the Medieval stronghold which is the seat of the Municipality of La Salle. The landlady (Paola) is a very kind and always available person.

A beautiful burst of nature! The bed & breakfast located near the Chatelard tower is a passive house that operates with photovoltaic and geothermal solar systems. For two citizens like us, a useful experience to raise awareness about environmental respect without having to give up anything. We couldn't help but immerse ourselves in nature and immediately from the entrance, taking off our shoes before climbing the wooden stairs, felt not only spontaneous but also necessary, because let's remember that we are always their guests! The friendly, helpful, and affable management surrounded our stay, leaving us with a more than positive memory. We will return.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the B&B Artemisia on the night of February 29, 2016. After a full day of skiing in Courmayeur (only 13 km away), the owner Paola welcomed us warmly, immediately putting us at ease. As soon as we entered the B&B, we felt right at home. Paola also recommended a very nice place to have dinner in the evening, the Green Park, affiliated with the B&B. They are also affiliated with the Prè Saint Didier thermal baths (10% discount) and indeed the next day we treated ourselves to a beautiful day at the baths. Thank you Paola, if we come back to that area, we will definitely come by to say hello.

I stayed at this establishment, which is a brilliant example of eco-sustainability. We appreciated the view of Mont Blanc, the proximity to the Prè Saint Didier thermal baths and rafting on the Dora, and enjoyed numerous hiking trails. In the Artemisia property, we were able to bring our 2 dogs, and at times, it was the owner, Paola, who took care of them with much love and dedication.

I stayed three nights at the Artemisia B&B in La Salle, I found everything very good from all points of view, convenient parking, maximum silence, excellent structure with the most advanced energy and ecological saving techniques. Maximum kindness and availability towards the guest by Paola and Rudi. Recommended structure also for families with children. When I return to Val d'Aosta I will stop at the Artemisia.

I stayed at the Artemisia B&B with my girlfriend for a weekend and we had a great time. The B&B is a passive structure, which means it produces energy on its own, in full respect of the environment. The location is strategic, among various interesting places where you can spend a pleasant weekend, such as Courmayeur, the Terme di Pre Saint Didier, and a naturalistic setting immersed in Monte Bianco worthy of a terrestrial paradise. Courtesy, privacy, and cleanliness characterize the B&B, along with a plentiful breakfast. Last but not least, I must mention Paola, the owner, who is more than just helpful. We felt at home, her warmth is unique, a lovely person. An experience to recommend and definitely to repeat.

We stayed at the B&B Artemisia managed by Mrs. Paola for only two days, just enough time to enjoy a good relaxation, thanks also to the thermal baths a few minutes by car. The panorama and the location are excellent, the place is clean and the friendliness is a plus. Beautiful the "passive" structure that pleasantly surprised us. Too bad the time at our disposal was short. Highly recommended for those who really want to rest and relax. Especially for couples.

The owner, Paola, is a lovely woman. The bed and breakfast is a passive house, which means it self-sustains by limiting polluting emissions. Really great. Good and rich breakfast with croissants arriving directly in the morning from Courmayer. Paola also gives directions to restaurants affiliated with her bed and breakfast. The view from the room is wonderful.
