The accommodations, all newly built and constructed with brick, have been designed with a single housing type that aims to meet the various needs of guests in a practical and comfortable way. Each unit features two bedrooms, a living area with a fully equipped kitchen, and a small hallway with a bathroom, providing functional and well-organized spaces for daily living.
The standout feature is the outdoor veranda, a pleasant and inviting space where guests enjoy gathering with family throughout the day, from breakfast to dinner, relishing moments of relaxation outdoors. Next to each accommodation, there is a convenient parking spot, allowing guests to park their car right next to their home.
The stay includes beach service at the facility's lido, which provides an umbrella, a sunbed, and a deck chair, as well as coverage for water, electricity, and gas, a complete set of dishes and cutlery, and access to the playground. A refundable security deposit is required upon departure, along with the cost of final cleaning. Air conditioning can be made available upon request, with an additional charge not included in the stay price. To ensure comfort and peace for all guests, pets are not allowed inside the accommodations.

Our campsite, established just a few years ago, was created out of the need to provide accommodations along the beautiful coast of Torino di Sangro (Chieti), specifically in Lido Le Morge, a small area surrounded by greenery, featuring charming coves and stunning, untouched natural resources.

The journey of Camping Verdemare began in the summer of 2012, driven by the dedication of Peppino and Renata, who have always been involved in the beach sector, managing Lido Baia Blu on the nearby Lungomare Le Morge for over 20 years.
Our campsite, established just a few years ago, was created out of the need to provide accommodations along the beautiful coast of Torino di Sangro (Chieti), specifically in Lido Le Morge, a small area surrounded by greenery, featuring charming coves and stunning, untouched natural resources.

Verdemare Campsite is located in Torino di Sangro, a small town with a population of 3,000 on the Abruzzo coast, nestled among the greenery of the hills and the blue of the Adriatic Sea. It serves as an excellent starting point for exploring the area's natural, cultural, and tourist attractions.
Visitors to Torino di Sangro can enjoy a variety of attractions, from the beaches of Le Morge and Costa Verde to the Lecceta nature reserve. History enthusiasts can visit the English War Cemetery, where soldiers who fought in the region in 1943 are laid to rest. Meanwhile, food lovers can indulge in the many local culinary specialties that showcase the authentic flavors tied to the area's traditions.

Trabocchi are ancient fishing machines made up of a stilt platform connected to the shore by a walkway. Their distinctive silhouette and the network of nets suspended over the water make this stretch of coastline captivating and unique.
The coastline of the province of Chieti features numerous trabocchi, extending from Francavilla to Vasto, including several in Torino di Sangro. Some of these are open to visitors or even house restaurants where diners can enjoy traditional dishes made with fresh catch—a delightful experience!
The Lecceta
This area is one of the few remaining coastal forests along the Adriatic, ranging from sea level to about 115 meters in altitude, creating a unique environmental setting with the wide riparian zones of the Sangro River. This forest is also significant for wildlife; in addition to the aquatic birds that inhabit the mouth of the Sangro and the Adriatic coastline, many birds and land animals find refuge in the dense Mediterranean vegetation, including the Hermann's tortoise (Testudo hermanni). This forest is, in fact, the only confirmed habitat in our region where this turtle lives and breeds.
