Just a short walk away are the Basilica of San Bernardino, the main shopping street with its unique shops, the illuminated fountain, and the theater. The apartment, bright and inviting, is on the third floor of the building and is ideal for those seeking a peaceful and well-equipped environment. This venue boasts a prime location in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the main thoroughfare, the Illuminated Fountain, the 16th-century Castle, the Basilica of San Berardino, and many other significant attractions. You can easily stroll to the Basilica of Collemaggio, the main square by the Cathedral, and numerous monuments of considerable historical and cultural importance, all beautifully restored following the earthquake in 2009. We had a great stay. The location is very beautiful, clean and tidy, with everything you need. There is parking in front and the nice thing is that you go down and you are practically in the historic center. Everything was wonderful. Thank you.

We stayed at the Castello, an ideal accommodation for visiting the center of L'Aquila: a few steps from everything the city has to offer. The hosts were courteous, helpful and at the same time discreet. The apartment is located inside a historic, charming and well-kept building where you can feel the charm of the past. A truly pleasant stay that we recommend without hesitation.

The apartment is located on the top floor of a very beautiful historic building, without an elevator, in a central position and with small balconies overlooking the inner alleys. Well-furnished, it consists of a living room/kitchen, bathroom, and two bedrooms, one of which has a one-and-a-half-person bed. Since the latter is more suitable for two children/a couple rather than for 4 adult women, as in our case, the owner kindly agreed to let us use the sofa bed in the living room/kitchen. I would suggest replacing the one-and-a-half-person bed with a French double bed to comfortably accommodate 4 adults without needing to use the sofa.
