What about starting and ending your day by greeting the sea? From the terrace of B&B SulMare, you will have the opportunity to witness the spectacle of the sunrise, front row; in the summer season, breakfast can be enjoyed outdoors, on the terrace, and all you have to do is cross the promenade to reach the beach and your umbrella, which is always included in the price during the summer season (with 2 sunbeds!) ;)
SulMare is located in a residence, on the first floor, in the center of Lungomare Marconi, the seaside street that runs along a wide promenade with a cycle path; a few steps away you will find the pine forest, ice cream parlors, pizzerias, restaurants, and trendy bars; pharmacy, newsstand, grocery stores, and tobacco shops are just around the corner; at night, the promenade dresses up for the party: with just a change of clothes and without worries, you can easily walk to the meeting points and places of entertainment or, with just a moment, take the car from the garage and fly to one of the nearby characteristic towns, famous for food and wine festivals.
SulMare, a family-run bed & breakfast, is a new accommodation facility that was created following the complete and recent (end of 2015) renovation of an apartment right on the seafront: 2 areas have been reserved on the large terrace for the exclusive use of the DeLuxe and Style rooms; in the center, accessed from the communal kitchen, equipped with an espresso machine, kettle, stove for heating soups, microwave oven, etc., there is an area of the terrace available for the Classic and Urban rooms; the rooms are bright, furnished with style and taste, equipped with precious textiles, double-glazed windows, refrigerator, safe, air conditioning, LED TV, and, in the triple rooms, a double bed that can be opened with a simple gesture; the bathrooms, all en-suite, are complete with a shower cubicle, windows or forced ventilation, hairdryer, and Frette bath towels.
All areas have free Wi-Fi connection.
In addition to the B&B rooms, we also have a one-bedroom apartment and a studio apartment on the 4th floor of the same Residence, with a side sea view, always with an elevator; the amenities and conditions are slightly different from the B&B rooms, but everything is specified in the 'Details' section of each accommodation.

We stayed in the Style room as four people for 10 days. We arrived a few hours before the agreed time, but the owner, Gabriele, was available to welcome us immediately into our room, also recommending local places to have lunch or dinner and traditional Abruzzo food festivals nearby. The room's cleanliness was impeccable:everything clean and fragrant. Breakfast was served every morning on the private terrace overlooking the sea,served by Mrs. Luciana,very kind and welcoming. The room is exactly as shown in the photos;the only flaw:there is no bidet in the bathroom. The property provides an umbrella and two sunbeds on the beach in front;additionally,Gabriele offered us an extra deckchair for free. In conclusion: great location, top hospitality and an exceptional room.

Recently renovated apartment, excellent cleanliness, an added bonus is the beach bed and umbrella included in the price and adjacent to the property. The host is very welcoming and helps with settling in and knows how to recommend very well the restaurants where you can have lunch/dinner.

We stayed with my family for three days in the style room. The location of the structure is excellent, in front of the sea. The veranda is stunning. We got up early on purpose to see the sunrise. The room was equipped with every comfort: TV, refrigerator, and air conditioning. The veranda was also well equipped with a table and chairs, where breakfast was served to us in the morning. The owners were very kind, Mr. Gabriele, always ready to give you advice. Since we were four, he offered us an extra spot on the beach, free on those days. Compliments for the cleanliness and for the attentions from Mrs. Luciana. I recommend it and I will definitely return.

Accommodation for 3 people on the first floor consisting of a double bed and a single bed, a wardrobe, a kitchenette, a bathroom and a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea equipped with a small drying rack with clothespins and a table with 4 chairs. The strengths are the sea view, being a stone's throw from the promenade and many restaurants and shops, including breakfast in the bar in front and a beach umbrella with two sun loungers in a facility less than 5 minutes walk away; the only negative point, especially if you are not a big fan of nightlife, is being in front of a disco on the promenade with loud music and voices of young people that can be quite bothersome. Daily cleaning and towel change every 2 days; the owner is helpful and friendly, he also recommended some excellent restaurants for dinner.

Just perfect! Over the road from the beach with umbrella and sun loungers on a private sandy beach. Close to great restaurants and all amenities.\n\nIt was great to have access to a fridge and to make a cup of tea, but also have breakfast of cereals, croissants and freshly baked goods brought to the terrace overlooking the sea each morning!\nGabriele & Luciana were extremely friendly and helpful and their daughter e-mailed back in English.\n\nWe had our octogenarian parents with us so the lift was very helpful. Parking was in a basement garage - a bit tricky to get into for our family-sized hire car, but it was very secure. We would love to return. Highly recommended.

Brand new, very clean (at very high levels) and in a fantastic location, just a stone's throw from the Sea.
The managers are very kind people, you feel like at your own home.
We were on vacation with an 8-month-old baby, so they had specific needs, all fully met, we will definitely come back.
