Description

San Salvo in the green countryside of Abruzzo, where you can breathe clean air away from the daily routine and where there is an enveloping silence, is located B&B RE UMBERTO, a lovely place to get away from city traffic, to rediscover the rhythms slow the campaign relying on pathways related to wine, to food, to outdoor sports.

The owners, Daniela and Pierluigi, will give your holiday the pleasure of hospitality and warmth of the Italian welcoming you in its beautifully restored country house that offers four comfortable and attractive rooms with bathroom.

Breakfast is personally prepared by Daniela with some local specialties including homemade jams and pastries.

The B&B is located in the village of RE UMBERTO Montalfano in the town of Cupello (Ch), at 168 mt. above sea level, 5 minutes from San Salvo from where you can visit the old town and take advantage of services such as shops, pharmacies, clubs, churches, museums and archaeological parks, 8 km from San Salvo Marina where you can observe and visit the magnificent Biotope Marino, full of beach resorts and nightclubs for a summer full of fun.

Located at 10 km from the B&B RE UMBERTO train station Vasto-San Salvo when calling also bus services to Vasto and San Salvo in the charming Vasto Marina is located 13 km away, sought after tourist destination.

The City of Vasto with its medieval village and the Belvedere on the gulf d'Oro, local shops and services is 15 km away.

Punta Aderci is located 18 km, the regional nature reserve, also 4 km from the B&B there is the Kart track Track Fluid, and Vasto for children Amusement Park Aqualand water.

A holiday in the B&B RE UMBERTO may be the opportunity to visit the Abruzzo National Park located about 40 km, the Majella National Park, and a 40-minute ferry ride Tremiti Islands natural paradise for lovers of diving, reaching which there is the convenient boarding from Termoli.

We spent a week at this accommodation in the middle of the Abruzzo hills. Our room cleaned daily and meticulously sanitized. Excellent breakfasts with plenty of choices. Everything very well taken care of and in order. We appreciated the kindness of the owner and all the staff. To recommend if you want a peaceful stay.

Really welcoming. Very beautiful and well-maintained structure, spacious, clean and tastefully decorated rooms. Panoramic view of the hills and the sea. Suitable for those who want to stay in a quiet and relaxing environment. Varied and abundant breakfast. The owner is very helpful and kind as well as the staff. A truly positive experience!

A very nice and peaceful place, which is what we were looking for. The structure is beautiful, the cleanliness is excellent, and the breakfast is always very good. The manager has always been kind and helpful to our requests and always with new suggestions of places to visit.

We stayed at Re Umberto B&B and were pleasantly impressed by the quiet location but very close to the sea of San Salvo, by the structure and especially by the extraordinary courtesy and competence of the manager. A special mention to the quality and abundance of the breakfast, well above average. Highly recommended.

The experience was more than positive: the structure is welcoming, the rooms are clean and elegant, the bathrooms functional, the common areas equipped with every comfort. Pierluigi, the owner, was extremely helpful from the information before the reservations, he never missed his presence nor was he invasive. He welcomed us kindly and gave us the utmost trust both for managing the spaces with other guests and for settling the bill (allowing us to leave at the most convenient time for us without having to arrange payment beforehand). The structure has perfectly functioning heating, great for us who were there in winter, and for breakfast there is a wide variety of delights available in addition to the desserts that the owner prepares personally for the guests. We will definitely return, it is a beautiful place in winter and certainly even more beautiful in summer.

Short stay in a delightful structure located in a wonderful area surrounded by greenery where you can breathe serenity. Everything in the house is curated with simplicity in an excellent harmony of colors. The owner Pierluigi's welcome is essential, he is available, kind, and full of good advice. Customers of the Re Umberto have at their disposal a recently renovated structure with very well-furnished rooms. The quadruple room of the Duke is comfortable for 4 people, has a livable bathroom and excellent finishes. Quiet location in the middle of the countryside with a breathtaking view over the vineyards and down to the sea. Patio outside equipped for breakfast, rocking chair and children's games available. In the kitchen there was practically everything, from the dishwasher to the stove to the fridge with water, juices, milk already available upon our arrival in the afternoon. Kind and helpful owner. Breakfast is more than excellent, with juices, yogurt, fresh fruit and various local sweets (not to mention Daniela's fantastic tart). In any case, the experience was positive and I would definitely go back. Highly recommended.

A vacation born by chance with a simple desire for the sea, turned out to be a warm embrace and the discovery of a territory with a "Vasto" potential. We stayed in the Baronessa room: independent entrance, private bathroom with shower, a functional refrigerator and the window framing a genuine and relaxing agricultural landscape.\n\nFor many just a passing B&B, for us a regenerating break that with the care and familiarity of the owners made this trip a pleasant discovery. Pierluigi's "tips" were essential to savor a unique dinner on the trabocco in a few days, the tasty "Brodetto", enjoy the natural reserve of Punta Aderci, visit the interesting historical centers of Vasto and Termoli and appreciate the excellent plums of "Re Umberto" with a final gift package! Excellent breakfast, honest price and guaranteed quality.\n\nIn this B&B you can see the will to work and invest to open up new development scenarios for their land.\n\nThank you for everything\nLaura and Davide.

Writing a review for this Re Umberto B&B is very simple. New and very beautiful structure, the owners are very friendly and always available, abundant breakfast and excellent cakes by Daniela. Having a child, to go from Padua to Otranto we decided to make a stop halfway and we chose the B&B “Re Umberto”. For us it was a stop without any pretensions and expectations. And instead we found ourselves in a beautiful place, immersed in the peace and tranquility of the hills, ten minutes from the sea. The very cordial welcome of Pierluigi and dad Umberto immediately won us over. The room reserved for us, very spacious, was tastefully furnished and not banal, as well as the bathroom. The breakfast was abundant and rich in exquisite sweets made by Daniela, Pierluigi's wife. All this at a more than convenient price. In short, a B&B found by chance that turned out to be not to be missed.

I spent a weekend in this beautiful structure with my two-year-old son, my partner, and my parents, and we had a wonderful time. The rooms are spotless, tastefully furnished with all brand new furniture. The B&B is surrounded by greenery and has a small playground where my son was able to have fun. Pierluigi, the owner who welcomed us, was very kind and prepared a delicious breakfast with an adorable homemade almond cake made by his mother. His kindness impressed us a lot, especially because for this weekend we took advantage of gift boxes (emozione3), and usually in these cases, the owners of the structures (I still do not understand why, as if the gift boxes were not paid) tend to be a bit grumpy, making everything difficult from the booking. Pierluigi, on the contrary, was immediately available and friendly. Thank you and see you soon.

We stayed at the B&B Re Umberto on the night of August 11th. We were very satisfied with the excellent welcome, quality of services, and top-notch breakfast provided by the owner, as well as the great availability received to accommodate pets. The owner Pierluigi met us at the Vasto Sud highway exit, escorting us to the very beautiful and well-kept structure, immersed among hills of fine vineyards. The room “Conte's Room,” equipped with 4 beds and a private bathroom, was very clean and finely furnished. The owner, very helpful and kind, provided us with all the useful indications to reach the best and closest restaurants where dogs, cats, and other four-legged friends are welcome. The breakfast, it is truly the case to say from “Re Umberto,” was personally prepared by Daniela with local specialties and included every delight: warm croissants, pies, and homemade donuts, yogurt, cereals, biscuits, and homemade jams. Enchanting place, with excellent value for money. I recommend it to everyone. A greeting and special thanks from Angela, Roberto, Claudia, Laura, and Guenda (our boxer dog).

We stayed at the Re Umberto B&B for only one night, but we would have gladly stayed longer. We breathed clean air and enjoyed a nearly surreal quietness, essential ingredients for a relaxing vacation. Da come è ben descritto sul nostro sito sapevi che siamo nella collina di San Salvo e quindi in una posizione ben arieggiata e lontana dal caos cittadino. Le colazioni che vanno dai cornetti caldi ogni mattina a ciambelle, crostate, yogurt, cereali, biscotti, marmellate e frutta propria di stagione sono da albergo 5 stelle (e non da 9 stelle forse?). Comunque ci ha fatto piacere conoscervi ed avere te ed i tuoi famigliari come nostri ospiti!

We stayed at the Re Umberto B&B with the whole family and we were welcomed by Pierluigi and Daniela with a kindness that makes you feel good right away. The rooms are very clean and well taken care of in every detail. The breakfast, then, was a surprise. It feels like being at home with cakes and the doughnut made by Daniela, while Pierluigi prepares cappuccinos, coffee, or tea for you. I recommend the structure to anyone who wants to spend a few days in Vasto in complete tranquility. Just five minutes from San Salvo Marina.
