The Porta della Noce Bed and Breakfast is located in one of the four historic districts of Lanciano, in a quiet and peaceful position that offers a splendid panoramic view. The structure takes its name from one of the ancient gates of the city, of which only the pedestrian passage to the Antica Fonte di Civitanova, also known as Fonte Grande, remains today.
By walking up the enchanting Gradoni staircase, you will find yourself in Piazza Plebiscito, where the imposing Cathedral of Madonna del Ponte stands, and the entire historic and commercial center extends. From here, you can also visit the Sanctuary of the Eucharistic Miracle.
The Bed and Breakfast with independent entrance is divided into: a living room with a fully equipped kitchen including a fridge, oven, and stove; a bedroom with a large double bed, a single bed, and a spacious wardrobe; a bathroom with a shower.
The structure is equipped with air conditioning, heating, and a safe.
There is the possibility to add a crib and everything necessary for a stay with small children.

We stayed here for 4 nights, in mid June 2023. We found a good price and a very nice host, Dora. She reserved a parking space for us and escorted us to the house. The apartment is lovely, and everything is of high quality, from the toaster in the bathroom to the products in the kitchen. She asked us every day if we needed anything else and fulfilled our requests. The only thing that could be improved is the smart TV. The TV is okay but only has Italian channels. I definitely recommend this apartment. Thank you, Dora.

Mrs. Dora was flexible regarding our needs for both beds and check-in time, she was immediately available, friendly, attentive in informing us about parking availability nearby and the times to pay attention to in order to avoid fines, given the holiday season. She welcomed us warmly but without being intrusive, she prepared a delicious cake for breakfast and always asked us if we needed or wanted anything else. In short, she made us feel at home! The house is spacious, extremely clean, well-equipped, and very convenient both for the historic center and for shopping. We only stayed for two nights but now we have a reference point for when we return to visit our relatives.

100% Recommended. 10/10. Porta della Noce is the epitome of what a perfect bed and breakfast is. Dora is simply the best hostess you'll find anywhere. She truly made us feel at home in Lanciano from the moment of our arrival and we were sad the time went by so quickly. With her suggestions and guidance we had the best time. My girlfriend and I had a great time. Dora, the owner, is not only attentive to details that make the apartment suitable for every need, but also a point of reference for the guest. In particular, as soon as we arrived, she recommended many activities to do and the events available at Lanciano and surroundings at that time, making us feel immediately welcomed. The strong point of the structure is the breakfast, abundant and genuine. What makes the structure perfect is, in any case, the cleanliness, truly impeccable! A beautiful experience!
