The Small Hotel B&B “La Rua”, an oasis in a corner of paradise.

More so than ever before we are seeking a place to regenerate our souls, either with little distraction from the outside world as we get back to unspoiled nature or with our hearts pumping on ski slopes blessed with a abundant snow.

La Rua, in the heart of Pescocostanzo, is that oasis in a corner of paradise in Italy’s central Abruzzo region.

La Rua is placed a few steps from Pescocostanzo’s picture-perfect Piazza Municipio. It is the ideal place for guests seeking a hotel with all the modern comforts inside an ancient stone building with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Every room is furnished with a private bathroom, hair dryer, private telephone, color television, safe, mini bar and a view of paradise.

At reception is a bar and fireplace which makes an ideal setting for breakfast as you contemplate the options for the day ahead, whether they be on the ski slopes in winter, in the St Anthony’s Forest in the summer, in a local restaurant or art gallery.

First of all, we thank Luigi and Giuseppe for their kindness. The structure is located in the center of Pescocostanzo. It is very well-maintained, the rooms are spacious and very clean. Giuseppe gave us very useful tips for a tour of Abruzzo: in fact, we decided to visit Scanno and the Gole del Sagittario, and we did not regret it. Thanks again. Wonderful property, family-friendly and warm environment, we were lovingly welcomed by the owners. \nThe hotel is located right in the center (close to the most renowned restaurants and bars) and is just a few steps away from a large parking lot where you can leave your car. \nLarge, welcoming, and warm room. \nExcellent breakfast, greatly appreciated made next to the fireplace. \n\nI recommend the property for its location, cleanliness, hospitality, and the honesty of those who manage it. \nIt really deserves it!\n\nAntonia.

We stayed for a few days in this Garnì B&B La Rua; a truly enchanting and welcoming structure located in a very central and quiet position in the historic center of Pescocostanzo. The rooms are welcoming, extremely clean, functional and above all very quiet. The breakfast is pleasant, characterized by delicious homemade pastries, different every morning. The brothers Luigi and Giuseppe, owners of the structure, are very nice, kind and always available both to suggest excursions and trips and to manage luggage. Definitely recommended structure, we will return for sure.

Insieme ai miei tre figli abbiamo vissuto il privilegio di essere accolti da gestori, che sono tra l’altro una sorella e due fratelli, molto seri e organizzati ma soprattutto tanto calorosi e sensibili. All‘accoglienza della struttura, che è collocata in stradina storica di Pescocostanzo ed è arredata in modo caldo e colorato, si è unita la relazione amichevole e spontanea che nasce con Elisa, Giuseppe e Luigi. Essi trasmettono la conoscenza e la passione, che li anima, nei riguardi del patrimonio faunistico e naturale del territorio di appartenenza. È stata veramente una bella esperienza.

La struttura si trova a due passi dal centro, è raggiungibile anche con l'auto ma solo quando il centro non è chiuso al traffico. Il B&B sì presenta molto bene, camere pulite e spaziose, la colazione è quella tipica italiana con dolci di vario tipo fatti in casa, freschi, marmellate ogni giorno diverse anche queste fatte in casa. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile.

Bellissimo B&B, La Rua sorge in una posizione strategica, in quanto, è ubicato a pochi passi dalla piazza principale di Pescocostanzo, che a mio parere, è sicuramente uno dei borghi più suggestivi e belli dell'alto Sangro; "dulcis in fundo" la colazione ricca di torte e marmellate, servita di buon'ora dal gentilissimo Sig. Maurizio, persona squisita e disponibile. Consigliatissimo.

Abbiamo soggiornato con la mia famiglia (mio marito è nostro figlio) nel fine settimana, ho trovato una location accogliente caldissima (fuori c’era una bufera di neve) ma soprattutto pulitissima. Il gestore ci accolto come se fosse un parente venendo incontro ad ogni esigenza. Lo consiglio vivamente, sicuramente ritornerò.

Splendida posizione nel bellissimo centro storico di Pescocostanzo, le finestre delle camere, semplici ma fornite di tutto quel che è necessario, hanno un panorama mozzafiato. Il gestore è una persona accogliente e molto gentile, il fratello organizza escursioni guidate. Bellissima quella al bosco di S. Antonio, cui abbiamo partecipato. Consiglio a tutti un soggiorno a Pescocostanzo presso questo Garnì!

Accoglienza e disponibilità non mancano, struttura con panorami suggestivi circondata da grande relax. Difficile trovare aggettivi adeguati per i gestori, Luigi -Giuseppe-Angela e soprattutto ELISA con le sue delizie a colazione coccolano gli ospiti. Il loro affetto coinvolgente fa sentire a casa. Eccellente B&B a Pescocostanzo, i gestori sono gentilissimi e disponibilissimi oltre che simpatici e alla mano. Il B&B è situato al centro del paese con vista sui tetti del centro storico. Ottima struttura ed organizzazione, legata anche ad un servizio esterno di trasporto bagagli. Hanno un legame stretto con una locale associazione di trekking che tramite loro, organizza gite e passeggiate nella splendida vallata delle cinque miglia.

Finalmente un esempio di vera ospitalità. Già al telefono, parlando con il proprietario, mi aveva fatto un'ottima impressione, ma quando siamo arrivati abbiamo respirato da subito una cortesia ed una ospitalità genuina e simpatica che ci hanno subito conquistati. Il bed and breakfast è a due passi dal centro, proprio in una delle piazze più belle d'Italia. Le camere sono comode e accoglienti e la pulizia regna sovrana. La colazione eccellente preparata con mani esperte e prodotti fatti in casa: marmellate di limoni, gelatine di prugne selvatiche e soprattutto le torte della signora, una goduria del palato.

Un'oasi felice con dei gestori attenti ai minimi particolari e molto disponibili, delle ottime colazioni con dei dolci sempre freschi e fatti in casa. Una piacevole sopresa in una regione dove buona parte dell'offerta alberghiera non ha saputo adeguarsi ai tempi moderni o investire sulla relazione umana con l'ospite. Da non perdere.

Situato in un piccolo borgo antico, molto accogliente e gestito in modo familiare ma anche accurato e attento alle esigenze di tutte le persone che alloggiano in questo B&B. Assolutamente consigliato.

Ho soggiornato per 7 giorni al Garni La Rua di Pecocostanzo (l'ultima settimana di luglio). Il garni è molto centrale, vicinissimo alla piazzetta centrale del paese e i titolari che lo gestiscono (due fratelli e una sorella) lo dotano di una perfetta pulizia e sono gentilissimi e disponibili ad esaudire ogni richiesta. La prima colaziome è buonissima supportata dagli ottimi prodotti quasi tutti fatti in casa dal componente femminile (biscotti, torte, ciambelloni, marmellate ecc). Durante il soggiorno è possibile effettuare gite ed escursioni ed uno dei fratelli è una guida professionale. Penso che l'anno prossimo tornerò a soggiornare al Garni La Rua e lo consiglio a chi aspiri ad una ospitalità tranquilla e molto gradevole.
