The Small Hotel B&B “La Rua”, an oasis in a corner of paradise.

More so than ever before we are seeking a place to regenerate our souls, either with little distraction from the outside world as we get back to unspoiled nature or with our hearts pumping on ski slopes blessed with a abundant snow.

La Rua, in the heart of Pescocostanzo, is that oasis in a corner of paradise in Italy’s central Abruzzo region.

La Rua is placed a few steps from Pescocostanzo’s picture-perfect Piazza Municipio. It is the ideal place for guests seeking a hotel with all the modern comforts inside an ancient stone building with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Every room is furnished with a private bathroom, hair dryer, private telephone, color television, safe, mini bar and a view of paradise.

At reception is a bar and fireplace which makes an ideal setting for breakfast as you contemplate the options for the day ahead, whether they be on the ski slopes in winter, in the St Anthony’s Forest in the summer, in a local restaurant or art gallery.

Luigi is an extraordinary person, with a rare willingness to help. Despite the many unforeseen events that occurred during our stay, he was always present, attentive and ready to lend us a hand with great kindness and a sincere smile. His friendliness and manner make you feel immediately at home, creating a warm and familiar atmosphere that can be felt throughout the guesthouse. The property is really nice, very well cared for and tastefully renovated, showing great attention to detail. Perfect stay! The B&B was extremely well maintained and the room was really cozy, with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was abundant and varied, with fresh and typical local products. How well we felt! Luigi and Giuseppe welcome you with a smile from the very first moment, they are always kind, helpful, and made us feel at home. They advised us on where to dine and how to organize our daily hikes in nature, listening to our requests and always giving us great advice. The B&B is central but in a quiet area, the room and bathroom are spacious and comfortable with three beautiful windows overlooking the village rooftops. They are extremely clean and have plenty of space to store things. Great shower with excellent water pressure. The breakfast is fantastic, every morning Elisa's cakes and cookies delighted our palate and every day they were different. What can I say? We arrived as guests and left as friends. Pesccostanzo is a charming place to visit. The B&B managers are super welcoming, whatever you asked them, they were always available to meet your requests. They pointed out where to rent electric bikes and which route to take with a map in hand. Finally, they reserved a restaurant for us to have dinner in the evening, very simple but the homemade pasta from them was a delicacy, like everything else. Our stay in Pestocostanzo was fantastic! The accommodation is in the city center with parking available 100 meters away. The rooms are spacious, very clean with a super comfortable bathroom and shower. But what makes the difference are Luigi and Giuseppe, not to mention their sister who, with her homemade sweets, makes breakfast an unforgettable moment! Luigi and Giuseppe are two brothers who manage everything with great attention and professionalism. They were wonderful with us. They told us the fascinating story of Pestocostanzo and gave us tips on the beautiful excursions in the area. On the day of departure, they helped us with our itinerary, map in hand, to choose the best route. We were truly satisfied and surprised by such kindness. A sincere smile of welcome as if we had known each other for a long time. A space enveloped in green and the colors of well-kept plants and flowers. Scented and clean rooms unmatched for every single day of stay and not just upon arrival as sometimes happens. The breakfast is full of scents from the past, like that mother who prepared the cake in the evening for you to find in the morning, just as Luigi and Giuseppe's sister prepares with passion every evening for their guests. I could continue and continue but I believe that the best way to experience this reality in person is to reach them without any hesitation. Thank you infinitely to everyone.

I booked a stay at this property as a birthday gift for my mother, I had already visited Pescocostanzo and had a nice memory of it, one of the most charming villages in the Abruzzo region. And I can say with satisfaction that I nailed the gift, my mother returned enthusiastic from the holiday, she really liked the village and had a great time at the property where she stayed, she spoke to me about the manager Luigi as a helpful and kind person, and I can confirm this having had to postpone the stay several times due to bad weather and always finding great availability. The property is cozy and equipped with the necessary comforts, the breakfast also includes homemade products, and it is also conveniently located in the center of the village. If you need to stay in Abruzzo, the Garnì B&B La Rua is one of the properties I would recommend trying!

The manager is a welcoming and very kind person, the brother organizes guided excursions. Beautiful the one to the S. Antonio forest, in which we participated. I recommend everyone to stay in Pescocostanzo at this Garnì!

Reception and availability are not lacking, the structure with suggestive views surrounded by great relaxation. Difficult to find adequate adjectives for the managers, Luigi, Giuseppe, Angela and especially ELISA with her breakfast delights pamper the guests. Their engaging affection makes you feel at home. Excellent Garnì B&B La Rua in Pescocostanzo, the managers are very kind and helpful as well as nice and easygoing. The Garnì B&B La Rua is located in the center of the village overlooking the roofs of the historic center. Spacious, comfortable and clean rooms. Excellent breakfast with homemade cakes and cookies. Great structure and organization, also linked to an external luggage transport service. They have a close connection with the local trekking association which, through them, organizes trips and walks in the beautiful valley of the five miles.

Finally an example of true hospitality. Already on the phone, talking to the owner, he had left me with a great impression, but when we arrived we immediately breathed a courtesy and a genuine and friendly hospitality that immediately won us over. The bed and breakfast is a stone's throw from the center, right in one of the most beautiful squares in Italy. The rooms are comfortable and welcoming and cleanliness reigns supreme. The excellent breakfast prepared with expert hands and homemade products: lemon jams, wild plum jellies and above all the lady's cakes, a delight for the palate.

I stayed for 7 days at Garnì B&B La Rua in Pecocostanzo (the last week of July). The B&B is very central, very close to the central square of the town and the owners who manage it (two brothers and a sister) provide it with perfect cleanliness and are very kind and helpful in fulfilling every request. The breakfast is delicious, supported by excellent products almost all homemade by the female component (biscuits, cakes, ring cakes, jams, etc.). During the stay, it is possible to take trips and excursions and one of the brothers is a professional guide. I think I will return to stay at Garnì B&B La Rua next year and I recommend it to those who aspire to a quiet and very pleasant hospitality.
