Description
Palazzo Rustici B&B is a charming establishment located in a restored eighteenth-century palace, which was brought back to its former glory after the earthquake of 2009. It was the first building to be recovered in the San Marciano neighborhood, one of the historic Quarters of the City of L'Aquila.
There are two double rooms, one triple room, a suite (a 70 sqm two-room apartment with a living room, a bedroom for 2/3 people, a bathroom with a large bathtub and a hydromassage shower), and two apartments with a kitchenette. The spacious and bright rooms are furnished with antique furniture. Two of the rooms have a terrace.
The rooms, suite, and apartments all have ensuite bathrooms and are equipped with modern comforts such as underfloor heating, free wifi, smart TV, terracotta or parquet floors, a fan, a fridge, a wall-mounted hairdryer, a kitchenette in the apartments, and air conditioning in the rooms and suite.
From June to September, guests have access to a solarium garden with a mini hydromassage pool located 50 meters from the property. The breakfast room offers a rich buffet with local sweet and savory products.

Highly recommend staying here: Paulo made us very welcome, gave us lots of information about the local area and was happy to help us and answer questions throughout our stay.
The apartment was clean and spacious, the memory foam beds and pillows were very comfortable, and it was a treat relaxing in the hot tub and the garden at the end of a day. The kitchenette was perfect for cooking simple meals but there were also plenty of local restaurants and great gelatorias!
We came to the area to do some walking in the Gran Sasso National Park and it is a wild and beautiful place. Great for mountain bikers, rock climbers and caving too. Buses from L’Aquila to the Funivia at Fonte Cerreto cost 1.25 euro return, takes about 50 minutes and run approximately every 2 hours. The bus terminus was only a 10 minute walk from Palazzo Rustici. L’Aquila is an interesting place to stay and is undergoing significant restoration after the earthquake 10 years ago. Some amazing buildings are emerging as a result.

Posso aggiungere: andate all'Aquila!
A presto, Simona Stella.
