Description

The Masseria Cerasella is a charming country house transformed into a cozy Bed and Breakfast, located in the peaceful neighborhood of Quarto di Santa Chiara, within the National Parks of Maiella and Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise. It offers six rooms, furnished in a welcoming country style, all equipped with private bathrooms and the possibility to accommodate three or four people.

Located along the road that leads to the Majella National Park, between Quarto Grande and Quarto di S. Chiara, it serves as a passage for wildlife migrating between the parks. In addition to this natural prelude, your stay will be made pleasant by the splendid views from your characteristic rooms, overlooking the surrounding mountains - Monte Croce, Pietre Cernaie, Monte Pizzalto, Monte Tocco, Monte Porrara, Pratello/Aremogna mountain range and more.

Outside, a large garden is set up for complete relaxation, and a magnificent natural solarium will enhance your tanning experience.

Inside, a cozy living room with a fireplace awaits you, connected to the breakfast room.

Throughout the day and evening, it is at your disposal for board games, reading, and anything else you may need.

Area countryside

We are located on the plain of Pescocostanzo, at the entrance of Majella National Park, on the road leading to Campo di Giove and towards the highest peak of Majella, Monte Amaro. We are also close to the ski resort of Roccaraso, which will host the Junior Alpine Skiing World Championships in 2012.

Surrounded by mountains, we are a destination for hiking in the summer and ski mountaineering and freeriding in the winter. We are also within short distance of the main sport climbing/free-climbing sites in Abruzzo.

But we are also a perfect place for complete relaxation, as we are immersed in greenery and silence.

A charming structure located in a beautiful position on the Cinque Miglia plateau, very close to Pescocostanzo and near the slopes of Aremogna and Monte Pratello. Alpine atmosphere, both in the decor and in the memorabilia related to skiing. Friendly and attentive staff, without being intrusive. I had been here, I came back and I will return!

The structure does its job of welcoming you, allowing you to have services in the room. Note the absence of toilet paper replaced by single strips, but it is quickly remedied by a visit to any market. You can sleep well, beds with spring mattresses that serve their purpose. The room is nice and warm all day. During the period we stayed, the temperatures were always well below zero. Kindness of the managers. Recommended for those who do not want to find themselves in the chaos of the nearby towns and can move with their own means. Praiseworthy the parking space, welcoming the breakfast room, well decorated for the Christmas holidays and a nice fireplace lit during breakfast. Excellent value for money. Thank you for everything.

Paradise immersed in greenery. It is a shame not to be able to give a higher score. Highly recommended for those who love relaxation just a few kilometers from the city center. We had a great time also thanks to the kindness of the owners as well as the location and the care of the spaces. Just two constructive notes: I would add something savoury for breakfast, maybe some local bread and cheese, and I would leave a kettle for coffee or tea available to guests in the common room during the day. Everything else is fine. Thank you, we will return.

I spent only a short one-night stay here with my daughter, but enough to express full satisfaction. We came to ski in Roccaraso: the location is convenient, a few minutes by car, and also beautiful in the middle of a quiet plateau. Convenient parking in the square. The room is simple but warm and welcoming thanks to the mountain style with lots of wood, clean, with a fairly spacious bathroom. The whole structure is very beautiful, an old renovated farmhouse, with a relaxing, intimate, and discreet atmosphere, quiet. In the morning, abundant buffet breakfast with "packaged" products but also homemade sweets and cakes. Highly recommended!

We stayed only for a weekend, but we were very satisfied with the structure. The owner, a really kind person, and overall a place to definitely come back for a bit longer. The only downside perhaps is the lack of soundproofing in the rooms... so if you're unlucky enough to have noisy neighbors, this can be a bit annoying. In any case, a very beautiful place located amidst beautiful valleys and mountains.

The managers are very helpful and courteous. Rich and good quality breakfast. The structure, located about 5 km from Roccaraso, is isolated but characteristic. The rooms are comfortable and very warm, only the bathrooms could be improved. The value for money is excellent.
