I stayed at this property from August 17 to 20. Oscar, the host, is very kind and prepares an excellent breakfast. The location is very central and the room was clean. I recommend it.

Historic residence. Very spacious room overlooking the main street, with a stunning view. Host Oscar very helpful and friendly. Breakfast enjoyed in the company of the other guests. If we return to Sulmona we will choose B&B La Dimora.

Our stay at "La Dimora" was truly pleasant. The structure is very central, on the main street of the city, it is equipped with an elevator, and the rooms are spacious, bright, and clean. The breakfast is delicious and abundant, and the host is kind and helpful. He also gave us a gift of the famous confetti from Sulmona. I highly recommend it.

This family-run bed and breakfast offered a beautiful room and bathroom along with a common area for breakfast. We loved the location and support offered by the owners. They offered suggestions of what to do and where to go while in Sulmona and offered to take us as well. They arranged horseback riding for my daughters and we had everything we needed while we were there and the bed was so comfortable. There is a lovely bar downstairs and a convenient elevator. We will definitely stay here again.

A reference B&B: a warm welcome in a well-located and quiet palace in the center of Sulmona. A host always present to bring conviviality, especially during a good and abundant breakfast where guests share the table. An excellent memory.

We liked this property because of its location, the very nice hosts you get to talk to, and the property itself (old, but in a good condition). We felt very welcome here. It is good for others to know that there is an elevator, but you have to walk the last stairs.

If you want to feel like you are back in old Italy, this is for you. The building is beautiful, and you will be right in the heart of town. Steps away from the most beautiful historic monuments, you can eat, shop, or tour all the incredible buildings. We went skiing at Alto Sangro, and this was the perfect location. Also, we are from America and did not realize that you cannot drive into the center of town. If you have a car, make sure you check on parking options. Oscar, the wonderful host, walked us down to the location of our car to see if it was OK. It was not, so he directed us to a place where we could park without getting into trouble. Fantastic hospitality!

Very beautiful and comfortable room. The only problem was the impossibility of sleeping due to the noise, as the room is very central and close to the "Movida" of Sulmona. The manager had left the skylight with a small opening, but it was impossible to close it because it required a key. The noise was really unbearable, with a lot of noise until 5 in the morning. Then, from 5:45 to 6:00, street cleaning started until around 8:00. So you can imagine, a real shame because the room is really comfortable (except for this mishap) and Sulmona is still a town worth seeing.

My stay at La Dimora was great! Oscar went out of his way to make sure I had everything that I needed. He helped me rent a car, gave restaurant recommendations, and was very accommodating. I also enjoyed talking to him and his mother at breakfast! The location and the rooms are fantastic. I hope to be back soon! Grazie mille!

Everything perfect. We had a great time. Spacious and very clean room. The only downside is the breakfast, but not the fault of the manager, served in a nice room. Too bad that as soon as you wake up, you have to endure and share with poorly educated people.

We really enjoyed our 3-night stay at La Dimora. Oscar's warmth made us feel very welcomed.\n\nHe gave us really good advice on activities to do and restaurants to try. We were lucky enough to have the new bedroom, which was large, with a cute balcony and a view of the mountains. Breakfast was very good with everything we needed.\n\nI hope we go back to Sulmona one day and if we do, we will definitely go back to La Dimora. See you again, Oscar!

We could not say enough about this Bed and Breakfast. Its location is perfect if you are looking to be right in the center of one of the most beautiful cities in the Abruzzo region, Sulmona. Owner, Oscar and his mother, Maria were absolutely lovely to be around. I truly felt like I was at home. Their genuine hospitality and care for their guests is remarkable. We are so grateful that they were able to change rooms for my mother when we arrived, to accommodate her needs (even though we had already booked another room but when we arrived we had not realized the stairs would be an issue for my mother). The variety at breakfast, cleanliness and overall attention to detail are all what make La Dimora an absolute must for your stay. Oscar made sure we were happy, and we absolutely were!

Hello, we stayed one night. The room was recently updated and was terrific. Comfortable bed. Clean and nice bathroom with firm hot water. Location cannot be surpassed. Right on Main Street and we easily found on street parking nearby. Sulmona is beautiful town with a lot of historical churches and a Roman aqueduct. A great base to see Scanno and Abruzzi region.

La Dimora has a truly central location. It is located on Corso Ovidio in Sulmona, where there is a pedestrian area full of shops. Room Sofia, where I stayed for the weekend, was a mix of simplicity, attention to detail, and a dive into the past. Some of the furniture is antique, obviously renovated. The room was equipped with all comforts, even shampoo and shower gel in the shower. The Italian breakfast was plentiful with some local Abruzzo products. The owner was helpful, giving me all the tips about the city: what to see and where to eat.
