Histon Residence is located in the ancient Caldoresco Castle, one of the most representative monuments of the City of Vasto. Situated in the historic center, the Castle was built in 1439 on the remains of a previous fortification; once an imposing witness to warlike enterprises, today it serves as a residential building. It is truly an exceptional location, where one can savor the charm and atmosphere of the past, perfect for those who wish to reach the most interesting points of the city's historic center.
Legend has it that Diomedes, king of Epirus, after the siege of Troy, landed with his people, founding several cities in southern Italy. During his travels, the military leader was struck by the splendid Gulf of the present-day City of Vasto and the promontory that overlooked it, so similar to Mount Histone in Corfu, that it inspired Diomedes to name it Histon.

Each suite is independent and consists of an entrance, breakfast area, walk-in closet, double bed, private bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi, minibar, Illy coffee machine, tea, chamomile, air conditioning, heating, courtesy kit, hairdryer.
Guests will enjoy full independence and freedom of schedule. Breakfast can be comfortably enjoyed in the adjoining restaurant.

Highly recommended, both for the kindness of the staff, and for the very beautiful and very clean room. The breakfast served with great courtesy and abundance. Not to mention the location in the city center, where you can find parking even without payment, without ztl.

Wonderful room, impeccable cleanliness, met every need. Very friendly staff, excellent value for money. The only downside, being in the center and our room overlooking the beautiful square, at night it was noisy between the music from the local venues and the urban cleaning service.
