The B&B "La casa della nonna" is located in Fara Filiorum Petri, a small village of Lombard origin at the foot of the Majella massif.
The house is situated on a hill in a panoramic position, surrounded by greenery and surrounded by olive groves, fruit trees, vegetable plants, and other crops.
It has ample parking, equipped green spaces where you can have barbecues or relax, a kitchen where you can have breakfast with a refrigerator, a wood-burning stove, and a TV.

Property was absolutely lovely. Had an amazing view out the back, was quiet, and situated very close to town. Immaculately clean. Antonella was an absolute delight upon check-in as she dealt with my fairly nonexistent Italian with grace and patience. List of dining suggestions and other local attractions in the kitchen to help out travelers. Will definitely return.

Very familiar we felt very good and in family. Kind and very helpful. If you need something, if they can, they help you willingly, they were always available. Very clean and quiet area. We can only recommend it.

Il personale è molto disponibile e accogliente. La struttura si trova in una zona molto tranquilla e verde. La camera è spaziosa. Ottima colazione con dolci fatti in casa.

Al nostro arrivo (Io, Paola ed il nostro cane Gigio) siamo stati calorosamente accolti da Valentina e dalla sua mamma che ci hanno fatto trovare il caminetto acceso ed una montagna di dolcetti fatti in casa, quindi ci hanno consigliato un ottimo ristorante per la cena. Ci siamo trovati benissimo: panorama fantastico, zona tranquilla e silenziosa, riscaldamento efficace. Il nostro cagnolino vagava libero nei paraggi non essendoci alcun pericolo di traffico stradale od altro. Beati quelli che possono andarci d'estate in quanto, ho notato in giardino, la presenza dell'occorrente per preparare grigliate ed arrosticini d'agnello. Peccato veramente per non aver potuto soggiornarvi più a lungo. Speriamo di poter ritornarci.

Peccato tempo cattivo quando siamo arrivati ma per il resto meravigliosamente bene siamo stati con una accoglienza super come è stata super la colazione e le crostatine fresche fresche alla Nutella e marmellata. Ci ritornerei volentieri.

Ho soggiornato per sole due notti, la casetta è in campagna tra gli ulivi, sotto alla Maiella, ideale per chi ama la tranquillità e la pace. Camere pulite, ordinate, cucina a disposizione, persino il caminetto acceso! I proprietari sono persone gentilissime, squisite, ci siamo trovati davvero bene. Speriamo di ritornare e di fare qualche giorno in più. Grazie mille dell'ospitalità.

Ritengo di poter dire che venendo dalla Sardegna a vivere una settimana in Abruzzo, di essermi trovato veramente bene, l'ospitalità è veramente ottima, le persone disponibilissime, i gestori veramente speciali, la struttura situata in un bellissimo posto, la pulizia perfetta e puntuale, la colazione squisita.

Bellissima esperienza, tra l'altro la prima per noi. Gentilezza e cordialità ci hanno accolto appena arrivati. Panorama bellissimo e struttura affascinante, proprio per la sua posizione fuori dal centro urbano. La signora Valentina, molto gentile, anche nel consigliare posti giovanili, che abbiamo visto e che si son rivelati parecchio interessanti. Per chi ama la natura e la tranquillità, il posto ideale. Non vedo l'ora di tornarci.

Ci siamo trovati appena sbarcati dall'autobus all'ingresso del paese, io e mia moglie Pinuccia, immersi nel cuore della festa delle Farchie accompagnati amorevolmente da mamma Maddalena e dalle sue giovani e amabili figlie Valentina e Antonella. Abbiamo vissuto due belle e particolari giornate grazie a questa deliziosa famiglia di Fara Filiorum Petri. Non dimentichiamo certamente di ringraziare il padre che ci ha fatto da cicerone informandoci su tutto e su tutti e la nonna Rubina per l'accoglienza e la disponibilità e tutte quelle altre persone con cui siamo venuti a contatto." La casa della nonna" poi si è rivelata la ciliegina sulla torta per la sua eccellenza: grande, pulita, attrezzata e in ottima posizione collinare. La colazione con i dolcetti fatti in casa è un'altra di quelle cose che ti viziano. Il prezzo per l'alloggio e la colazione è alla portata di tutti.Ambiente veramente familiare e non è retorica. All'arrivo Valentina, la gestrice, ci ha accolto con cordialità e calore.
Il paesaggio é magico con le cime delle montagne coperte di neve solo a 15 km. e il mare a gli stessi km.
La colazione oltre ad essere abbondante era completa di dolci tipici fatti da mamma Maddalena.
Il posto si presta anche ad escursioni in montain bike, dove non é raro incontrare animali in via di estinzione.
