Located in a charming hamlet of L'Aquila, my cozy mountain retreat is just a 10-minute drive from the cable car to Gran Sasso and 20 minutes from the city center. It offers three peaceful and private accommodations with a private bathrooms. Heating and Wi-Fi are included. Safe space for bikers. Breakfast service is available. It's a welcoming and authentic experience!
The "Corno Grande" room, measuring 12 sqm, features a double bed (160 x 200), a kettle, a hairdryer, Wi-Fi, and centralized heating, TV. It offers a view of Corno Grande. The bathroom with bathtub is adjacent.

The "Monte Ocre" room, measuring 16 sqm, features a double bed (160 x 200), possibility to add rollaway bed. Spacious private terrace equipped with a table. It also includes a kettle, a hairdryer, Wi-Fi, centralized heating, TV. Bathroom with shower ensuite.

The "Pizzo Cefalone" room, measuring 19 sqm, features two single beds (85x190), possibility to add 3rd/4th rollaway bed. Private terrace. Kettle, hairdryer, WI-FI, centralized heating, TV at disposal. Bathroom with shower is adjacent.

Fascinated by the mountains, passionate about hospitality, and in tune with peaceful and private places, I have done what is commonly referred to as a "life change" and left everything behind. After a lifetime of traveling through countries and continents, I have moved to this small mountain community (Filetto) that overlooks my Great Love - the Gran Sasso. My home is spacious and bright, well-maintained and functional, and since there is "space to spare, " I have decided to offer accommodation in the three rooms each with private bathroom on the upper floor of my mountain corner. I know the area well; the trails, the summer and winter facilities, the sports opportunities, and the relaxation options, and I will be happy to provide advice and assistance. I look forward to welcoming you to my bed and breakfast!

The location is a bit out of the way compared to the towns. The building is old and would need maintenance and a good refresh,especially in the bathrooms,the window frames and the furnishings. Breakfast was minimal:there was only one dessert,a juice and tap water.

Solo per chiarezza verso chi legge: Filetto si trova in posizione strategica, a 30 minuti in auto da Campo Imperatore e a 40/50 minuti dalle principali attrazioni del Gran Sasso. Le foto sul nostro sito mostrano struttura e mobili, così come gli ospiti li trovano. Per quanto riguarda la colazione, offriamo quotidianamente frutta fresca, dolce fatto in casa, succhi, fette biscottate, burro, marmellata, Nutella, cornetti, merendine e un’ampia selezione di bevande calde, con attenzione anche a intolleranze o esigenze particolari, quando segnalate. Siamo sempre disponibili ad accogliere suggerimenti costruttivi per migliorare. Grazie per il tempo speso a darci la sua valutazione.

Optimal place to stay for holidays in Gran Sasso. Letizia is an amazing host, always ready to give advice and very kind. Breakfast was huge, with much variety of food (cappuccino recommended). I'd like to come back here for my next holiday in Gran Sasso.

Great location to reach Campo Imperatore, Rocca Calascio, the Grotte di Stiffe, Bominaco and many other beautiful places nearby. The owner and the manager of the B&B were very kind and helpful, ready to offer useful advice on itineraries, restaurants and much more. The Monte Ocra room was very comfortable, with a new bed and bathroom, plus a beautiful panoramic view. The breakfast is abundant and varied: cappuccino, coffee, fruit juices, homemade cake (every day with a different flavor), yogurt, fruit, toast, jams, hazelnut cream and much more. The price is absolutely reasonable for the services offered. A special thank you to Letizia: we had a really great time!

We had a great time with Letizia, who was helpful and gave us good tips on where to eat. The room, very comfortable and spacious, allowed us to move around with a lot of freedom and we really liked the kettle with the herbal teas. Weather permitting, we would like to come back, maybe during a warmer period, since we were on a motorcycle and also encountered some snow.

My parents had the pleasure of staying at this lovely bed and breakfast and I can only highly recommend it! The property is enchanting, nestled in a quiet setting with a breathtaking view that makes every moment of the day special. A true oasis of peace. Very clean and warm room, with everything you need, including the large terrace with a view of the snowy Apennines. Atmosphere of bygone times in Filetto, with a silence and peace that are now almost untraceable. The property is a 2-minute walk from a family-run restaurant with excellent typical Abruzzese dishes. The location is also strategic for reaching the slopes, about 15 minutes by car from the Fonte Cerreto cable car. Good and abundant breakfast with homemade sweets and then there is Letizia, a perfect hostess, wonderfully kind and helpful as well as ultra-prepared and operational on all local natural and artistic attractions, much better than Google. We had a great time and will definitely return.

We stayed at this B&B for two nights. Apart from the inconvenience of the bathroom being outside the room (but only in our room, our travel companions had it inside), the rest of the stay was excellent: comfortable bed, very good breakfast, kind and helpful owner, quiet place.

Dream B&B! Perfect base for everything related to Gran Sasso and the surrounding villages. Letizia is very kind and extremely helpful as well as being very well-informed about the trails in the area. Spacious and clean room, just a few minutes from both the cable car and Campo Imperatore. We will return.

Il mio BB si trova a 25 minuti da Campo Imperatore, da 10 minuti dalla funivia (utile d'inverno) e a 30/45 minuti da Rocca Calascio, Santo Stefano di Sessanio, Grotte di Stiffe, Bominaco, Lago di Campotosto. L'Aquila si raggiunge in 20 minuti. Vi aspetto magari anche in versione bianca. Buona vita!!!!!

What a beautiful discovery! The bed and breakfast is located in a well-connected village close to L'Aquila, Campo Imperatore, the Gran Sasso cable car, and all the tourist spots. Letizia welcomed us, really kind, friendly, and helpful. She gave us many tips regarding both restaurants and the best roads to take. The structure is well organized, clean, with a modern bathroom that has all the comforts and a relaxing shower. Letizia surprised us every morning with a delicious homemade cake. The room offers a fantastic view of the nearby mountains. The room has a kettle, cups, cookies, tea, coffee, etc. Convenient parking. I really recommend it if you want to have a weekend or even for long stays. In the summer, it is definitely very pleasant, but also in the winter because the structure has double insulating windows. We hope to return soon to explore Abruzzo even better.

La colazione è composta da fette biscottate, cornetti, merendine varie, marmellate, nutella, frutta fresca, succo di frutta, acqua, yoghurt e ciambellone (che cambia ogni giorno), oltre le consuete bevande calde come caffè, cappuccino, ginseng, tè, latte ecc. Il breakfast è servito dalla 6.30 alle 9.30 e quando il meteo lo permette, anche sul balcone della sala colazione.

We stayed for 4 nights at this beautiful bed and breakfast. It is located in a very strategic point for those who want to visit the area of Campo Imperatore and Gran Sasso. In fact, Filetto is connected to the main road to Campo Imperatore by a wonderful asphalted road without traffic, immersed in nature, highly recommended for those who want to tackle the ascent of Campo Imperatore by bike. The structure is easily reachable at the beginning of the village with convenient parking. The host Letizia will welcome you with a big smile and will be ready to advise you on the best for your stay, very prepared on all the activities that can be done in the area, including outdoor activities (trekking, biking, etc.). We stayed two nights in one of the rooms at Gran Sasso Letizia BB, a structure managed by the delightful host, always present in a very discreet way. We had a great time. The structure is located on a secondary road that leads from L'Aquila to Campo Imperatore. Strategic area to travel on ideal roads for motorcyclists, to reach trekking and biking routes. The village is small and currently with many construction sites that, upon completion, suggest a real gem. At night, there is an exciting silence. The rooms are very welcoming. Cleanliness, order, and Letizia's cakes reign supreme. We absolutely recommend it and we will be back. Thank you Letizia. Tony and Bruna.

In effetti va sottolineato che Filetto e quindi il Gran Sasso Letizia BB si trova al bivio con Via Fontebella, strada panoramica che porta in meno di mezz'ora a Campo Imperatore passando per il Piano di Fugno e Montecristo. Vi aspetto presto nuovamente nel mio piccolo angolo di montagna.

We stayed 3 nights as guests of Letizia. Right from the welcome, she filled us with valuable advice on restaurants and excursions. In fact, she is very prepared and will give you tailored advice for the vacation you want to take. But remarkable is the care with which she makes her guests feel at home like a friend. Just think of the candies left on the bedside table that she promptly replaces as soon as she notices they have been eaten. Impeccably clean structure. We had a double room with a balcony overlooking the mountains and the bathroom, which, not being in the room (as we already knew at the time of booking), was literally a stone's throw from the room door. The breakfast is sweet and is served on a balcony with a spectacular view of the Gran Sasso. The location allows you to reach the most important hiking destinations in the area by car. (L'Aquila at 25 Min, Campo Imperatore at 40 minutes, Stiffe Caves at 15 minutes). Excellent value for money. We highly recommend Letizia and her B&B.

We had a great time with the really nice landlady where you can feel the love for the place where she lives. She can provide a lot of information both for the places to see but also for eating. Abundant breakfast and super good homemade cakes by her, which you can have seconds of. Our room, the one with the en-suite bathroom, is very spacious and the cleanliness is excellent. Beautiful view from the little terrace where, if you wish, you can also have breakfast. The B&B is located in a small hamlet about 20 km from Campo Imperatore, in a truly quiet place far from the chaos. Definitely worth going back on a future trip. Recommended! 😍

Wonderful structure, Letizia is very welcoming. Excellent breakfast, in short, I liked everything. The only advice I feel like giving Letizia is to provide slippers for the guests, but then maybe you should increase the price! Thank you very much.

The host was fantastic, very welcoming and helpful with any requests. Room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was nice and served in room right on time at 06:30.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the B&B for three days, we traveled with two motorcycles. We had a great time, the location is excellent and easy to reach, about 20 minutes from Campo Imperatore. Letizia is of a unique hospitality, she was present and discreet. We appreciated the breakfast in the room, our room had a very beautiful view of Gran Sasso. The shared bathroom was always perfectly clean, with a warm and comfortable bathtub (with a shower). We were very satisfied and would definitely return, I recommend it!
