Description

Dimora Novecento is not just a B & B, but an exclusive and elegant Suite & Breakfast in the heart of Pescara Vecchia. The walls themselves of this magnificent house of the early '900 inspired the creation of what is now a place in the city certainly unique.

Also unique for its location, Dimora Novecento is one of the few accomodations that serve the new city center: Portanuova or Pescara Vecchia. Close to shopping and a short drive from airport and the industrial area, Portanuova is frequented during the day for University d'Annunzio, the Court, Wholesale Markets and offices of major companies. In the evening it turns into a nightlife spot with dozens of clubs, bars and restaurants between the pedestrial streets of the Via delle Caserme and Corso Manthoné.

All six rooms are provided with private bathroom, air conditioning, LCD TV 32", Internet Wi-Fi, safe box and furnished with the utmost care. Lot of attention was paid to the recovery of the home original plant of the house, also characterized by the high pavillon ceiling. A balance of old and contemporary style creates an atmosphere hard to forget.

Dimora Novecento is located in Portanuova, in the area of Pescara Vecchia. This Suite & Breakfast is situated in a dwelling within a building from the early 1900s.

Situated in the liveliest area of the city, Via delle Caserme and Corso Manthoné, Dimora Novecento is easily accessible for those arriving from the airport (10 minutes by car) as well as those arriving by car from the A24/25 highway from Rome and the A14 Adriatic highway.

It is just over a kilometer from the sea, the Riviera, a bathing area with characteristic beach resorts and sandy beaches.

Dimora Novecento is also convenient for those who need to reach the D'Annunzio University or the Pescara Courthouse, which is less than ten minutes on foot, a couple of minutes by car or by bus.

For those arriving by train, it is advisable to get off at Portanuova Station, which is 100 meters from the B&B.

B&B in a historic building in a quiet residential area, but close to the main streets of the old town (5 minutes on foot). Excellent management, very polite and helpful staff. Room tidy and very clean. Good breakfast with classic toast, jams and yogurt, but also homemade cakes, freshly brewed coffee, and options for those who prefer savory. Bus stop 3 minutes on foot and 20 minutes by bus to reach the airport.

The hotel is very clean and cozy. The rooms are small and if you get to have the rooms by the street, bear in mind that they are noisy. The breakfast was poor, on the last day they asked if we wanted omelette. The staff, except for Paola, barely speak English. Paola is very nice and she was very helpful at any hour, to which I thank her. The rooms are equipped with a hair dryer and a safe box.

The rooms are larger than average, you booked the economy even though higher category rooms were available, so it is normal that the economy is not too large. For breakfast, unfortunately, every now and then you find someone you can't please... there is both sweet and savory, we don't know what to do beyond this. I'm sorry that you were upset that you were offered eggs for breakfast, almost all foreigners ask us for them. You were offered scrambled eggs and not omelette. Thank you Paola

This is a charming boutique bed and breakfast close to Pescara Porta Nuova. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast choice was excellent and a good way to start the day. The host Paolo was fantastic and kindly responded to all our questions and requests. If going to Pescara definitely worth booking.

A gem! By me, it receives the highest score in every aspect. It is about a 20-minute walk from the sea - if you know and want it, it is a real oasis. Immersed in another time, but very clean, courteous, kind and nice - always very gladly!

Spacious and clean room, superb breakfast. If I may offer a critique, being six feet three inches tall, like many others, a small bed and high, hard pillows are a slight discomfort. Perhaps it would be helpful to offer a choice with different pillows and a more comfortable bed.
