In the Majella National Park territory, in Lama dei Peligni (Ch), there is our new structure: the Hotel Tiroasegno that has ten indipendent and furnished flats. They are full of comforts and it’s possible to enjoy wonderful landscapes.

The hotel has a restaurant connected with these flats and that gives the opportunity to taste some italian cooking and, especially, typical loca dishes like game.

The surrounding territory is rich of tourist attractions, for example: nature, archeological sites, history, culture, sports and gastronomic pleasures. All these things, let you spend nice weeks to the discovery of very interesting itineraries.

Our accommodation is located on the main road of the small mountain village of Lama dei Peligni, just a short walk from the historic center (about 500 m). The village is situated at the foot of the eastern part of the Majella mountain range and is one of the municipalities whose territory is part of the protected area of the Majella National Park.

Nearby, you will find interesting tourist sites such as the Cavallone Caves, the Abruzzo Chamois Faunistic Area, the M. Locati Naturalistic and Archaeological Museum with its attached Botanical Garden, the Acquevive River Park, the Marsican Bear Museum, the Medieval Castle of Roccascalegna, the Hermitage of San Martino in Valle in Fara San Martino, and the Gesso Village in Gessopalena.

I stayed in this B&B with my family on the occasion of our son's birthday. We took advantage of the overnight stay with breakfast. The location of our room was great for those who love the mountains. Then Lama is a very well-kept village. A few steps away are the Grotte del Cavallone, Fara San Martino with its gorges, and many other places to visit. We will return with great pleasure soon.
