Some information to keep in mind
• Sulmona is an art city loved and visited by countless tourists and art scholars.
From Villa Diana, just a few steps away, you can directly access the heart of Sulmona's historic center and visit on foot some of the most beautiful places in the city. The Annunziata complex, the wonderful bell tower, the elegant bifore and trifore, the magnificent portals of the numerous medieval palaces, the ancient and monumental Aqueduct Svevo with the magnificent Piazza Garibaldi, the Cathedral of San Panfilo, the Church of Santa Maria della Tomba and the incomparable Fontana Del Vecchio, of which the great Ovid was proud.
• A few minutes by car are enough to reach the beautiful art places on the outskirts of Sulmona: The Hermitage of Sant'Onofrio al Morrone, the Temple of Hercules Curino. Also, the ancient medieval villages surrounding Sulmona (Pacentro, Pettorano, Roccacasale).
• Villa Diana is a short distance from the most important tourist destinations. Roccaraso, Rivisondoli, Campo di Giove, Passo San Leonardo, Scanno, and other beautiful places, all reachable in a short time (twenty or thirty minutes by car). The journey is also short to reach the beautiful and unchanged ancient medieval villages surrounding Sulmona, as well as the unforgettable natural landscapes of Mount Maiella, the Natural Reserve of the Sagittarius Gorges, the Fluvial Park, or the unforgettable railway line called the "Trans-Siberian of Italy" that passes through Roccaraso and arrives at Campo di Giove in the heart of the Majella National Park, among gorges and woods, offering unforgettable fairy-tale landscapes.
• To conclude, besides art, the countless culinary delights offered by Sulmona are also worth attention. Known not only for the confetti loved and tasted all over the world for over two hundred years but also for delicious dishes. A wine tour and tastings complete the gastronomic picture.

What guests say
Reviews highlight the excellent hospitality and helpfulness of the hosts, along with the property's modern, clean, and comfortable rooms. The location is strategic, within easy walking distance to Sulmona's historic center, and the on-site parking is especially valued by guests with cars or motorcycles. Some rooms facing a busy road can be slightly noisy for light sleepers. Breakfast is generally ample and can be tailored (sweet or savory), though some guests mention the inclusion of packaged rather than homemade items. Overall, guests find good value for money and an enjoyable stay, making it a solid choice for visiting Sulmona and the surrounding area.
